Stephen King's "The Life of Chuck" Trailer Is Here

Yara Sameh
Neon has finally released the official trailer for the highly-anticipated film adaptation of Stephen King's short story "The Life of Chuck".
The movie is led by Marvel vet Tom Hiddleston, who is playing the titular role of Charles Krantz.
'The Life of Chuck' is told in reverse, following Hiddleston's Charles Krantz as his life story will be told into three separate parts, beginning from his death up to his childhood.
Alongside Hiddleston, the ensemble cast also includes Annalise Basso, Carl Lumbly, Kate Siegel, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli, Violet McGraw, Heather Langenkamp, Matthew Lillard, David Dastmalchian, Harvey Guillén, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Q'orianka Kilcher, Michael Trucco, Molly C. Quinn, Lauren LaVera, Antonio Raul Corbo, Taylor Gordon, Hamish Linklater, Matt Biedel, Suriyan Sapkota, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Scott Wampler, and more.
Benjamin Pajak, Jacob Tremblay and Cody Flanagan will all play different versions of Chuck, while Chiwetel Ejiofor and Karen Gillan will play Marty and Felicia, a divorced couple whose world is unraveled by the mystery of Chuck Krantz.
Mia Sara and Mark Hamill play Chuck's grandparents Sarah and Albie, with Nick Offerman serving as the film's narrator.
The movie hails from writer-director Mike Flanagan, who had already previously adapted King's other novels into movies such as "Gerald's Game" and "Doctor Sleep".
"The Life of Chuck" is produced by Flanagan and Trevor Macy for Intrepid Pictures.
The film was acquired by Neon following a people's choice award win at the Toronto International Film Festival. 'The Life of Chuck' has been compared to King adaptations like 'Shawshank Redemption' and 'Stand By Me' rather than 'It' or 'Pet Sematary.' Filming began in October 2023 under a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement.
In a previous interview, Flanagan confirmed that the movie will see some changes from the source material.
'One of the big changes we made to this story was that the people you meet at the beginning, you see them again as Chuck encounters them throughout his life, and you can see how and why he pulled them into his imagination, and how they continue to exist in his mind even after the real people have moved on, in one way or another,' he explained. 'And so that's one of the very few changes we made for the film. It seemed like a real cool opportunity to do something like that."
"The Life of Chuck" is set to release in theaters from Neon on June 6.

Ryan Reynolds Teases Deadpool's Possible Return in "Avengers: Doomsday"

Yara Sameh Is the foul-mouthed Marvel hero finally joining Earth's Mightiest Heroes? Ryan Reynolds posted Tuesday a cryptic Instagram post teasing fans about the possibility of returning as Deadpool in "Avengers: Doomsday." The post shows a graffiti version of the Avengers logo. He did not include any caption. The logo was previously seen on a flag in 2024's "Deadpool & Wolverine" during a scene where Reynolds' Deadpool and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine were captured. The photo in the post appears to have been taken from a July 2024 Reddit post, where a user posted pictures of several custom Marvel shirts in anticipation of "Deadpool & Wolverine." However, Reynolds' posting the Avengers logo without comment, as filming on "Avengers: Doomsday" is underway, stirred speculation that he could be preparing to announce his involvement in the movie. "If you are saying what I think you're saying, I'm actually gonna scream," a comment on the post read. Reynolds was notably missing from the lengthy "Avengers: Doomsday" cast list that Marvel unveiled in March during an hours-long live stream, where every individual star's name was revealed one at a time. But after the stream ended, Marvel hinted that it was not the complete cast list – and that other actors could be joining the movie. "There's always room for more," the studio teased. The Merc with a Mouth was last seen in "Deadpool & Wolverine," which brought him to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time. While the movie was a massive hit, no sequel has been announced nor has it been confirmed where or when fans will see Deadpool next. During a Variety Actors on Actors segment with Andrew Garfield in December, Reynolds said he would like to see Deadpool function more as a supporting character going forward. "If he comes back, it's going to be in someone's else's movie," he said. Reynolds also told Time magazine in April that he was "writing a little something right now that is an ensemble" involving Deadpool, but did not reveal details. The announced cast list for "Avengers: Doomsday" does include one star from "Deadpool & Wolverine:" Channing Tatum, who made his debut as Gambit in the 2024 "Deadpool" film. Other stars confirmed for the next "Avengers" include Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani
