Stephen King's "The Life of Chuck" Trailer Is Here

Yara Sameh
Neon has finally released the official trailer for the highly-anticipated film adaptation of Stephen King's short story "The Life of Chuck".
The movie is led by Marvel vet Tom Hiddleston, who is playing the titular role of Charles Krantz.
'The Life of Chuck' is told in reverse, following Hiddleston's Charles Krantz as his life story will be told into three separate parts, beginning from his death up to his childhood.
Alongside Hiddleston, the ensemble cast also includes Annalise Basso, Carl Lumbly, Kate Siegel, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli, Violet McGraw, Heather Langenkamp, Matthew Lillard, David Dastmalchian, Harvey Guillén, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Q'orianka Kilcher, Michael Trucco, Molly C. Quinn, Lauren LaVera, Antonio Raul Corbo, Taylor Gordon, Hamish Linklater, Matt Biedel, Suriyan Sapkota, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Scott Wampler, and more.
Benjamin Pajak, Jacob Tremblay and Cody Flanagan will all play different versions of Chuck, while Chiwetel Ejiofor and Karen Gillan will play Marty and Felicia, a divorced couple whose world is unraveled by the mystery of Chuck Krantz.
Mia Sara and Mark Hamill play Chuck's grandparents Sarah and Albie, with Nick Offerman serving as the film's narrator.
The movie hails from writer-director Mike Flanagan, who had already previously adapted King's other novels into movies such as "Gerald's Game" and "Doctor Sleep".
"The Life of Chuck" is produced by Flanagan and Trevor Macy for Intrepid Pictures.
The film was acquired by Neon following a people's choice award win at the Toronto International Film Festival. 'The Life of Chuck' has been compared to King adaptations like 'Shawshank Redemption' and 'Stand By Me' rather than 'It' or 'Pet Sematary.' Filming began in October 2023 under a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement.
In a previous interview, Flanagan confirmed that the movie will see some changes from the source material.
'One of the big changes we made to this story was that the people you meet at the beginning, you see them again as Chuck encounters them throughout his life, and you can see how and why he pulled them into his imagination, and how they continue to exist in his mind even after the real people have moved on, in one way or another,' he explained. 'And so that's one of the very few changes we made for the film. It seemed like a real cool opportunity to do something like that."
"The Life of Chuck" is set to release in theaters from Neon on June 6.

Vanessa Kirby Is Expecting Her First Child, Reveals Her Baby Bump at a Fantastic Four Event

Yara Sameh Vanessa Kirby is pregnant with her first child. The actress revealed that she is pregnant and currently expecting her first baby while she attended "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" panel event at the CCXP Mexico, a pop culture convention being held in Mexico City over the weekend. Kirby — who played an expectant mother for her Oscar-nominated lead role in the 2020 film Pieces of a Woman — walked the red carpet in a shimmering blue form-fitting Schiaparelli dress and black sandals. As she posed for photographs, she cradled her baby bump. The "Crown" star was joined at the event by her Marvel castmates Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Kirby is currently involved with retired lacrosse player Paul Rabil. They went public with their relationship on Instagram in November 2023. At the time, Rabil, 39, posted a series of photos of the pair together, as he wrote in his caption, "From the very minute we first met in Des Moines, around the world and back, life is far better, more purposeful and more beautiful with you ❤️.' The couple was first linked in October 2022 after being spotted together in New York City. Back in April, Kirby posted a slew of romantic photos on Instagram of the pair vacationing in the West Indies. She captioned: "What a beautiful time away to stop for a second to appreciate the people you most love. Thank you so much @fsnevis for making us feel so welcome and for having us in such a special place. 🤍." read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan
