MSP Maree Todd, Minister for Social Care, Mental Wellbeing and Sport, was also in attendance.

The tournament is part of a two-year partnership between CHSS and Walking Football Scotland aimed at improving health outcomes for people over 50.
Figures from Public Health Scotland have revealed that nearly 11,000 people in Scotland had a stroke last year.
This remains one of Scotland's main causes of long-term disability.
In addition, coronary heart disease remains Scotland's biggest killer, with 300,000 people in the country living with the condition.
Activities, such as walking football, are designed to help people improve their physical activity and maintain a healthy heart.
Walking football provides a gentler alternative to traditional football, helping participants stay active while reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

Gary said: 'Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland is committed to supporting the one in five people across the country with our conditions.
"One of the best ways we can do this is by improving health outcomes for people across Scotland and playing walking football is a great way of contributing to reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
"Walking Football Scotland can reach a vast number of players, and we have been able to offer support to clubs, players and their families.
"It's great to see the popularity of the sport continuing to rise and we hope our partnership with Walking Football Scotland continues to grow from strength to strength as well."

"Breaking records and building communities — that's what this game is all about, and I couldn't be prouder of what we're achieving together.
"This is our showcase event – a celebration of everything walking football represents.
"But the real heart of the game lies in the hundreds who play week in, week out across Scotland.
"A huge thank you to everyone who makes this movement so special."
Winners on the day included Braehead FC in both the over-40s and over-50s women's categories, Saint Anthony's in the over-50s, and Pollok Utd in the over-60s and over-65s.
Alloa Athletic took home the over-70s title, Glasgow Life won in the Parkinson's category, while the Universal Wanderers took home the Peter Collins Fair Play award.

Atlético Madrid want Liverpool star this summer
The brass at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have set their sights firmly on the signing of a member of the defensive ranks at Premier League champions Liverpool. That's according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Andy Robertson as the player in question. Advertisement Scottish international Robertson is for his part expected to see his long-term status as first-choice left-back at Anfield come under threat over the months ahead. This comes with Liverpool closing on a deal for talented Bournemouth star Milos Kerkez. And eager to take advantage of this situation, as alluded to above, are Diego Simeone's Atlético Madrid. On the lookout for left-back reinforcements of their own for next season, Atléti, it is understood, have identified Robertson as the 'ideal candidate'. As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano: 'Atlético Madrid top target at left back is Andy Robertson, appreciated internally as ideal candidate. Not an easy deal at Liverpool rate him highly even with Kerkez due to join the club soon. Atléti have Robertson higher than Theo on their shortlist at LB so far.' Conor Laird – GSFN

FORMER U'S: Striker signs two-year deal with League One newcomers
FORMER Colchester United striker Brandon Hanlan has joined League One newcomers Doncaster Rovers. The 28-year-old has signed for the reigning League Two champions on a two-year deal, following his exit from Wycombe Wanderers after four years at Adams Park. Advertisement Hanlan told the Doncaster website: "For me it is about being somewhere that you're wanted. 'Speaking to the manager about the way he plays and wants to play and for myself it's about being in a team that creates chances and do well. 'The gaffer has had nothing but good things to say about myself but also the club and the players so at the end of the day it was a no-brainer for me.' Hanlan made 20 league and cup appearances for Colchester after joining them on loan from Charlton, in the 2017-18 season. The forward, who has recently been on loan at Stevenage, scored twice in his first three appearances for the U's but failed to net after that and then struggled to claim a place in John McGreal's starting line-up. Advertisement Hanlan has since gone on to make nearly 250 appearances at League One level, scoring 48 times in those matches. Former Colchester United attacker signs for Scottish club Doncaster boss Grant McCann told the club's website: 'He's someone who has annoyed me whenever I've come up against him. 'Brandon brings his energy, his pressing, his aggression. 'Our front three has to run and work. They start every line of defence for us in terms of what they do. 'Brandon brings that first and foremost and now it's up to us to get him into goalscoring positions. "We create chances, this team will create chances for Brandon and we need to get him between the posts to take them.'

Scottish athletics, bagpipes, dancing on display at Utah Scottish Festival and Highland Games
Scottish athletics, dancing and bagpipes take center stage at the Utah State Fairpark as part of the Utah Scottish Festival and Highland Games, now in its 50th installment. 'It's pretty typical of what you'd see at a Scottish Highlands festival anywhere in the world, including Scotland,' said Alisa Scott, secretary of the Utah Scottish Association. Activities start Friday, June 13, at 5 p.m., when gates at the Fairpark in Salt Lake City open and continue Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15. Tickets for the three days of activities are $28 for adults, fees and taxes included, while those 11 and under get in free. The event features world-class performers, musical acts, activities for kids and much more. 'This 50th celebration honors not only the Scottish heritage of our community, but also all of the volunteers who have put in countless hours to make this festival possible,' said Mary McLarty, president of the Utah Scottish Association. Organizers say the event draws thousands of visitors and participants each year from around the country. Athletic activities specific to Scotland, including sheaf toss competitions, will be on display, featuring amateurs and masters. In sheaf toss competitions, participants toss a bag of straw using a pitchfork as high as they can. 'Witness feats of strength from 150 competitors per day, including several record-setting athletes and world champions,' reads the event website. There will be strongman competitions, highland dance performers, bagpipers and drummers and much more.
