FORMER U'S: Striker signs two-year deal with League One newcomers

The 28-year-old has signed for the reigning League Two champions on a two-year deal, following his exit from Wycombe Wanderers after four years at Adams Park.

Hanlan told the Doncaster website: "For me it is about being somewhere that you're wanted.
'Speaking to the manager about the way he plays and wants to play and for myself it's about being in a team that creates chances and do well.
'The gaffer has had nothing but good things to say about myself but also the club and the players so at the end of the day it was a no-brainer for me.'
Hanlan made 20 league and cup appearances for Colchester after joining them on loan from Charlton, in the 2017-18 season.
The forward, who has recently been on loan at Stevenage, scored twice in his first three appearances for the U's but failed to net after that and then struggled to claim a place in John McGreal's starting line-up.

Hanlan has since gone on to make nearly 250 appearances at League One level, scoring 48 times in those matches.
Former Colchester United attacker signs for Scottish club
Doncaster boss Grant McCann told the club's website: 'He's someone who has annoyed me whenever I've come up against him.
'Brandon brings his energy, his pressing, his aggression.
'Our front three has to run and work. They start every line of defence for us in terms of what they do.
'Brandon brings that first and foremost and now it's up to us to get him into goalscoring positions.
"We create chances, this team will create chances for Brandon and we need to get him between the posts to take them.'

How to watch League One play-off final: TV channel and live stream for Charlton vs Leyton Orient today
The League One promotion play-offs will be decided by an all-London tie, with Charlton and Leyton Orient set to face off at Wembley Stadium. It has been an up-and-down season for Charlton under Nathan Jones. They sat 12th at Christmas but have rallied in 2025, winning 16 of 24 League ties as they narrowly missed out on automatic promotion. Advertisement Orient, chasing a first return to the second tier since 1995, have been similarly resurgent of late, ending the season on a run of six wins to pip Reading to a playoff spot. They required penalties to beat Stockport in the semi-final, but Tottenham loanee Josh Keeley was the hero between the sticks, making a crucial save. For Charlton, an opportunity presents itself for the club to end a five-year stay in the third tier. They were relegated from the Championship in 2020, immediately after being promoted the previous season. Their play-off semi-final was a nervy one. The Addicks drew 0-0 with Wycombe Wanderers in the first leg, before Matt Godden left it to the 81st minute of the second to score the winner. Charlton will vie for promotion in front of a sympathetic Wembley crowd after selling out their initial 36,945 ticket allocation in just 40 minutes. How to watch League One play-off final TV channel: In the UK, Charlton vs Leyton Orient is being shown live on Sky Sports Football. Scottish athletics, bagpipes, dancing on display at Utah Scottish Festival and Highland Games
Scottish athletics, dancing and bagpipes take center stage at the Utah State Fairpark as part of the Utah Scottish Festival and Highland Games, now in its 50th installment. 'It's pretty typical of what you'd see at a Scottish Highlands festival anywhere in the world, including Scotland,' said Alisa Scott, secretary of the Utah Scottish Association. Activities start Friday, June 13, at 5 p.m., when gates at the Fairpark in Salt Lake City open and continue Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15. Tickets for the three days of activities are $28 for adults, fees and taxes included, while those 11 and under get in free. The event features world-class performers, musical acts, activities for kids and much more. 'This 50th celebration honors not only the Scottish heritage of our community, but also all of the volunteers who have put in countless hours to make this festival possible,' said Mary McLarty, president of the Utah Scottish Association. Organizers say the event draws thousands of visitors and participants each year from around the country. Athletic activities specific to Scotland, including sheaf toss competitions, will be on display, featuring amateurs and masters. In sheaf toss competitions, participants toss a bag of straw using a pitchfork as high as they can. 'Witness feats of strength from 150 competitors per day, including several record-setting athletes and world champions,' reads the event website. There will be strongman competitions, highland dance performers, bagpipers and drummers and much more.
