Nellore City: 'Rowdyism is not heroism. Reckless behavior and unchecked freedom have sadly become a fashion among some youth. It is the responsibility of parents to instill discipline,' said Gunukula Kishore, Jana Sena District General Secretary, while inaugurating the Dokkha Seethamma Majjiga (buttermilk) distribution center at Nellore City's 16th Division, opposite Children's Park.
Following the directions of district observer and AP TIDCO Chairman Sri Vemulapati Ajay, and considering the rising temperatures, the Jana Sena took the initiative to set up a Majjiga centre in memory of Dokkha Seethamma—who once served free food to the poor—as per the ideals advocated by Pawan Kalyan.
The event witnessed a large turnout of Jana Sena leaders, Veera Mahilas (women leaders), and supporters.
Speaking at the gathering, leaders noted that despite facing health issues, Vijayalakshmi took the responsibility to set up the Majjiga distribution center for 90 continuous days, under the guidance of Vemulapati Ajay. They thanked all the leaders and supporters who attended.
Addressing the worrying trend of increasing crime in the city, Gunukula Kishore reiterated that parents must safeguard their children. Parents, even if staying away for educational or work reasons, should regularly monitor their children's activities via phone calls and personal check-ins, he advised.
'Once someone falls into criminal activities, such as attempt to murder or murder cases, they may end up facing lifelong consequences, including imprisonment,' Kishore warned. 'Even if punishments are delayed, eventual lifetime imprisonment is be unavoidable.I have personally seen many who regretted their youthful mistakes later in life,' he said, calling on society and families to proactively discipline the youth. Hyderabad man booked for duping multiple women with marriage promise
HYDERABAD: The SR Nagar police have registered a case against a person accused of cheating multiple women under the pretext of love and marriage. The 35-year-old complainant alleged that the accused, P Shiva, had sexually exploited her and others while posing as a prospective husband. According to the complaint, Shiva initially introduced himself as a candidate who had cleared the police SI exam. Over time, their acquaintance developed into a relationship. In November 2020, Shiva visited the woman's home and assured her parents that he would marry her after completing his police training. However, he later told her that he had received another marriage proposal with Rs 30 lakh as dowry offer. Trusting him, the woman's family gave him Rs10 lakh. Over time, Shiva demanded more money — first for 'training and books,' prompting the woman to pawn her gold chain. Later, he asked for an additional Rs 6 lakh to 'convince his family' for the marriage. Whenever she pressed for marriage, Shiva repeatedly delayed it. When her family confronted him, he insisted on speaking to her privately. During one such meeting at a hotel, he allegedly coerced her into intimacy, promising marriage. While he stepped out to get food, she checked his phone and discovered multiple women's contacts. Upon calling them, she learned that Shiva had deceived them similarly. The final blow came when another woman called her, revealing that Shiva had already been married to her for two years. The police have registered a case under Sections 69 and 318(4) of BNS and probe is on.

‘Trainee SI' dupes woman of Rs 16 lakh, booked
1 2 Hyderabad: The SR Nagar police registered a case against a man for allegedly deceiving multiple women on the pretext of marriage. The accused, Shiva, who posed as a trainee sub-inspector (SI), is currently absconding. The fraud came to light when a 35-year-old woman from SR Nagar filed a complaint stating that the accused duped her of Rs 16.6 lakh by promising marriage after claiming he had secured an SI job. According to the complaint, Shiva met the woman in June 2020, claiming he wrote the SI exam and was awaiting an appointment. Shiva assured her that he would marry her after completing his 'police training'. "He took money from me on various pretexts, including Rs 10 lakh for securing the SI job and additional amounts for training materials and family negotiations. I came to know about the fraud when he left his phone in a hotel room in Secunderabad while stepping out to buy food. I noticed multiple contacts of women on Shiva's phone," the woman alleged. The woman claimed she then contacted a woman from Shiva's phone and realised that he was already married to a woman and had allegedly cheated several others using similar tactics. Based on her complaint, the police registered a case under sections 69 (sexual intercourse by employing deceitful means) and 318(4) (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) of BNS. "The accused is on the run and we are making efforts to trace him," SR Nagar Inspector T Srinath Reddy said.

Andhra Dy CM Pawan extends Rs 50 lakh aid to kin of Pahalgam attack victim
NELLORE: Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has extended financial support of Rs 50 lakh to the family of Madhusudhan Rao, a software engineer from Kavali in Nellore district, who was killed in a recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. On Friday, Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh, TIDCO chairman Vemulapati Ajay, and JSP Nellore district general secretary Gunukula Kishore visited the grieving family and personally handed over the aid as per Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan's instructions. The aid was distributed as follows: Rs 22.5 lakh each to Madhusudhan's son, a Class 8 student, and daughter, who is in intermediate, and Rs 5 lakh to his parents.
