Mum is left horrified by Virgin passenger's 'inappropriate' five-word request to three-year-old daughter as they boarded flight
Emma Darrouzet and her family were traveling from Brisbane to Port Douglas when her daughter was approached by a fellow Virgin Australia passenger.
The mum and her daughter, Odette, were 'at the airport, about to get on a plane for a family holiday' when the incident took place.
'As I was standing to check my bag in, a lady tapped my three-year-old daughter on the shoulder and said, 'Hello, I hope you know you need to be quiet on the airplane',' she said in a TikTok.
In the video, Ms Darrouzet asks Odette if she was approached by a 'silly lady', to which the little girl nods her head.
The artist told Yahoo Lifestyle she was 'taken aback' by the exchange and her daughter had been left frightened.
She told the woman her daughter has flown before and 'knows what to do on a plane'.
Ms Darrouzet went through security and met up with her husband and two other children, but was later shocked to see the woman queuing up for the same plane.

Ummm… can we talk about airport etiquette for a second? 😡 Today at the bag drop, a random woman actually walked up and touched my kid, bent down low, and said right to her face that she needed to be quiet on the plane. First of all, WHO touches a stranger's child? Second, Odie is literally the dream flyer, headphones on, iPad, chilling. She wasn't even making a sound at the time. I was honestly SHOOK. The woman knew she crossed a line too because she bolted before I could even say anything. Like… what would you have said? Because I'm still ready to rehearse my clapback in the shower tonight. 😂 Is it controversial to say: Don't. Touch. Other. People's. Kids. Ever. #airport #donttouch #travelgram

'It was completely out of line,' the mum and artist said.
The incident divided viewers with some insisting airlines consider child-free flights, while others declared that those who travel without children have the 'right to a peaceful' journey.
'I would never say it out loud, but that's all we're hoping for, a tantrum free flight,' one commented.
'There needs to be a section on all airplanes where all the children and their parents sit with sound proof walls so the rest of us can enjoy a peaceful flight,' another shared.
'No this woman is not a silly lady because we all have the right to a peaceful, quiet flight,' a third said.
However, others were horrified at the female passenger approached a three-year-old regardless of her intention.
'I'm a childless adult, so I do enjoy my quiet. However, having some random approach a child and make veiled threats is 100 per cent unacceptable and would be a serious issue for me,' one argued.
'She's going to be quiet or what? What are you doing to do if she's not quiet?'
'Regardless of what she said, a stranger touching my child and/or telling them what to do is a hard no from me,' another agreed.
Someone else wrote: 'She walked up to a completely silent child, touched a random kid she doesn't know, and told them to be quiet on the plane.
'All while said child is standing there quietly. I'd knock her out.'
Australian airlines do not offer child-free options for flights, but it's been over 10 years since Asian carriers Scoot and AirAsia introduced child-free cabins.
The 'ScootinSilence' seats are located towards the front of the aircraft, giving passengers the option to book a seat in a child-free area where travellers under the age of 12 are banned.
AirAsia offers a child-free zone, located in the first seven rows of economy class, on some of its flights to China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Australia and Nepal.

Wayne Carey gets a sordid new gig after fleeing the country due to scandalous 'toilet tryst' video that was the talk of the footy world
Wayne Carey will be making a meet-and-greet appearance at a strip club shortly after the furore over his appearance in a viral 'toilet tryst' video forced him to flee the country and left him with an embarrassing new nickname. The former North Melbourne star will be holding a 'meet and greet' with patrons at the After Dark Gentlemen's club in Geelong on Friday night. Described as a 'realm of seduction' on its website, After Dark bills itself as 'Geelong's top adult entertainment venue and strip club', with attendees able to see pole dancing and experience 'intimate controlled touching private dances'. Carey outed himself as the footy star who appeared in the viral video that was the talk of Melbourne last month. The footage showed the 54-year-old emerging from the bathroom at the trendy Toorak Cellars bar shortly after Kate Aston, a Melbourne marketing and communications executive, made her exit. A female voice is heard saying 'we've got you on camera' as the woman walks past, before asking 'What's he doing in there?' and remarking, 'She looks embarrassed.' The After Dark Gentlemen's Club is promoting the footy great's new gig just weeks after he was embroiled in a scandal over a viral video Carey and the woman depicted in the clip have lashed out over the video, with the ex-AFL star using his podcast to brand it 's**t shaming' and cyberbullying, with both parties insisting there was no 'tryst' in the toilets. Carey also said he contacted Victoria Police over the video. 'Being filmed without consent coming out of a public bathroom and then filming a complete stranger within a minute coming out of that public bathroom is NOT OK.. Then the persons who are filming adding their disgusting narrative and posting it on social media ruins lives …Enough,' he wrote on X. Carey - who was nicknamed 'Duck' during his playing days - revealed he has been called 'Toilet Duck' since the scandal broke. He also left Australia to get away from the furore, but refused to specify where he'd jetted off to, saying, 'No one knows where you are, and where I am, who I am. Just a beautiful part of the world, this is.' After Dark manager Jimmy Leschke said Carey is now back in Australia and confirmed he is still due to appear. Asked about Carey's ties to the club, Leschke told News Corp 'he was part of the opening of this place'. The two-time premiership winner remarked about the club opening on his podcast at the time, saying 'strip joints are part of a lot of towns, they employ a lot of people' and explaining he was 'going to poke my head in for about seven hours'. Carey did not hold back in his first barrage over the Toorak Cellars video when he confessed to being the man in the footage. 'Annoyed is the wrong word, I've gone through about 10 different emotions in the last three days,' he said on Sam Newman's You Cannot Be Serious podcast. 'I've gone through disbelief, sadness, I've gone through anger. 'This woman has been thrown into this just because I could kick a footy. 'And you've got two vile, disturbing, probably p**sed women who want to do this to another woman. 'That's all they were doing, they were s**t-shaming another woman. 'If two men had done that they would be raked over hot coals, it would be the biggest story going around. 'But because it's two women doing it to another woman … you don't know what's going on, this other woman has had all sorts of stuff going in her life, I've since found out. 'You talk about vile and disgusting, what they've done and who they have affected by a few sh**s and giggles drinking their chardonnay, sitting up there, doing whatever.

I was wrong about Tammy. I said you were a fool - but you've played us all... if Matt knew the REAL story about your footy fling, he'd lock himself up in a monastery forever: AMANDA GOFF
I'll admit it: I got it wrong about Tammy Hembrow. When she sprinted down the aisle with Love Island's Matt Zukowski last year, after just four months of dating, I thought she'd well and truly lost the plot.

Travis Kelce's dad Ed opens up on Taylor Swift's 'beautiful' new album and his 'romantic' son's GQ cover
Ed Kelce has spoken out about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift 's impending podcast release in his first interview since the death of his long-term girlfriend Maureen Maguire. It has been a tough few weeks for the patriarch of the Kelce family, but he was on fine form for a surprise appearance on Australian television on Wednesday, speaking about Taylor's new album, and his son Travis' GQ cover shoot. When asked if he knew pop superstar Swift was dropping her 12th album - The Life of a Showgirl - Ed told Today: 'I knew nothing about this announcement... I knew at some point the boys wanted to get her on the podcast, but I didn't know when it was coming up.' When asked whether he had heard any of the top-secret new music from Taylor's impending album, he insisted: 'No I haven't, not at all', before adding: 'I know Taylor's been working pretty hard since she stopped the tour. 'She's taken some breaks to watch some football games, but she's been out in LA working on this album. My guess is that, although I haven't heard anything, it's going to be like everything else she does, it's going to be beautiful.' More to follow.
