DDG files motion to block Halle Bailey from taking son to Italy amid mental health concerns
Halle Bailey faces legal battle as DDG raises mental health concerns over their son's trip.

Rapper and YouTuber DDG has filed an emergency motion to prevent 'The Little Mermaid' actress, Halle Bailey, from taking their 17-month-old son, Halo, on a trip to Italy.
According to court documents obtained by "PEOPLE", DDG highlights concerns about Bailey's mental health and stability. He claims that Bailey poses an 'imminent emotional and psychological risk' to their son, basing the claims on repeated and documented threats of self-harm.
He reportedly filed the documents on Wednesday, June 4, requesting an emergency hearing, stating that Bailey has made plans to fly out with Halo on Saturday.
Additionally, he is asking the courts to prevent that from happening, stating that Bailey is not mentally well enough to ensure their child is taken care of and that he worries about what she may do should she leave the court's jurisdiction.
According to a recent "TMZ" report, Bailey has filed with the courts to deny the rapper's requests and is asking for permission to be granted for her to take their child to Paris as she has to go work there.
The custody battle between DDG and Bailey has been ongoing, with both parties seeking different arrangements. In May, Bailey accused DDG of physical and emotional abuse and filed for a restraining order.

She later filed for sole custody of Halo, alleging that the 27-year-old rapper has a pattern of abuse against her and being uncooperative with parenting, including hiding their child and threatening to take him away from her.
The 25-year-old actress's request included supervised visits for DDG, to be facilitated by a professional organisation, once a week for six hours while Halo is in Los Angeles (LA).
Bailey also asked the court to restrict DDG from taking Halo outside of LA County, citing concerns about child abduction.
Additionally, she asked the court to order DDG not to move with Halo without her written permission, to surrender any travel documents and provide detailed travel plans if they do travel together.
This included round-trip airline tickets, contact information, and an open ticket for Bailey in case Halo is not returned.

'So, I'm very happy that she's admitting to having that done but I think a year ago she said she regretted it,' the celebrity plastic surgeon said. In one of the episodes of 'The Kardashians' in 2023, the beauty mogul admitted that she wished she never got her breasts done. Dr Dubrow added: 'So the message you're giving out … I think she should say it's great, but I think it's important that she caution people. She had it at age 19. Age 19 is not cool to have a breast augmentation, right? It's pretty young.

Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson call it QUITS
After nearly eight years of an on-and-off romance, Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson have called it quits – and sources say this time, it's final. Multiple insiders confirmed that the Coldplay frontman, 48, and the Materialists actress, 35, have officially ended their relationship. 'It feels final this time,' one source said of the separation. Representatives for both stars have not responded to requests for comment. The couple, who first sparked romance rumours in 2017, were last seen together publicly just two weeks ago on May 16, enjoying a low-key outing in Malibu. Earlier this year in January, the pair were spotted hand-in-hand in India during Coldplay's tour. In March, an insider told PEOPLE that Martin and Johnson had quietly been engaged 'for years,' following widespread speculation since 2020. 'They were in no rush to get married,' the source added at the time. Though breakup rumours emerged last August, Johnson's rep swiftly denied them, insisting the couple was 'happily together.' At the time, a source echoed that sentiment: 'Sure, they've had issues and taken breaks in the past, but things are great now. They both love their careers. They are balancing things the best they can.' Despite that optimism, it appears the challenges in their relationship ultimately proved too great. Dakota Johnson had spoken warmly about her connection with Chris Martin's children from his previous marriage to Gwyneth Paltrow – Apple, 21, and Moses, 19. 'I love those kids like my life depends on it,' she said last year. She also expressed admiration for Chris Martin's artistry: 'I could watch him every day… I feel like I'm watching my most favourite being do his most favourite thing.' Johnson, known for her role in Fifty Shades of Grey , is currently promoting her new romantic comedy Materialists , which hits theatres on Friday, 13 June.
