Haya Karima allocates ad budget to direct Ramadan aid

Haya Karima Foundation has announced it will allocate its entire advertising budget this Ramadan to direct aid, focusing on supporting the most vulnerable families.
The initiative includes one million food boxes and one million hot meals across all governorates, thus easing financial burdens on low-income households.
Additionally, 15 Umrah trips and financial assistance will be provided to individuals in need, reinforcing the foundation's commitment to social welfare and justice.
As part of its Ramadan campaign, Haya Karima is launching the 'Charity Challenge', encouraging individuals, volunteers, celebrities, and institutions to contribute to the 'One Million Meals' initiative.
The foundation will also introduce an updated digital program to share inspiring community stories, hosted by volunteer ambassador Ayman Mostafa.
In a bid to enhance the Ramadan spirit, it will release daily religious chants before iftar, promoting faith-based values.
Buthaina Mostafa, the official spokesperson for the Haya Karima Foundation, stated that diverting ad budgets to aid efforts reflects the foundation's focus on real impact.
'Good deeds don't need advertisements; they need action,' she said. 'This year, we chose to turn our ad funds into direct support for those who need it most. Our mission is written in what we do, not in words.'
Haya Karima Foundation was launched by decree No. 902 of 2019 after President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi launched the (Haya Karima) initiative.
It aims at providing a minimum decent life for residents of the most needy communities in poor areas, unplanned urban informal slums, alternative areas to unsafe informal slums, and poor villages across Egypt; in an effort to eradicate extreme poverty.

Emergency first aid was administered on-site before he was transported to a private clinic nearby. Medical personnel later confirmed that Kadyrov's condition had stabilized and there was no immediate threat to his life. No official statement has yet been issued by Chechen or Russian authorities. Egypt will always remain fortified by its national unity: El-Sisi marking 23 July Revolution anniversary

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi reaffirmed on Wednesday that Egypt 'will always remain fortified by its cohesive internal front—impervious to conspiracies and strife, and fully aware of what is being plotted around it.' The remarks came during a televised address marking the 73rd anniversary of the 23 July 1952 Revolution. 'I am firmly convinced that this nation is capable of overcoming challenges and surpassing hardships, no matter how varied or widespread they may be,' El-Sisi said. The president paid tribute to the historical significance of the 1952 Revolution, describing it as a defining moment in the country's modern history. 'On this day, seventy-three years ago, the Egyptian people wrote a shining page in their history, when the spark of the July 1952 Revolution ignited—marking a turning point in the nation's path,' he said. 'It ended a hated era of occupation, established the values of dignity, honour, and independence, and lit the torch of liberation across the Arab region and the Third World.' He described the revolution as 'an inspiration for freedom from colonialism and for national independence.' Reflecting on the lessons of history, El-Sisi said the state continues to draw from the revolution's legacy. 'This republic, built in 2014, stands on solid foundations, guided by an ambitious vision and steady steps toward a modern state that embraces scientific methods to fulfill its aspirations and trusts in God's help to achieve its goals,' he said. El-Sisi pointed to Egypt's resilience amid global upheaval, noting that the country has made 'great accomplishments at a time when other nations have collapsed, entities fragmented, and crises intensified.' 'Yet Egypt remained a land of safety and stability—a secure refuge for humanity,' he added. The president highlighted Egypt's role as a sanctuary during turbulent times. 'Nearly 10 million people from various countries have sought refuge here. Egypt has offered the world a unique model of humanity and responsibility. Despite ongoing pressures, it has never abandoned its national or humanitarian obligations.' The nation's development Turning to domestic progress, El-Sisi stressed Egypt's commitment to development in the face of adversity. 'We preserved the nation's stability and chose the path of construction through a powerful national effort, with determination and hands that do not break,' he said. He highlighted major achievements in recent years, particularly in defence, infrastructure, and social protection. 'Our valiant army has developed into an impenetrable shield and a sharp sword. We defeated terrorism, and the land of Egypt was cleansed of its evils,' El-Sisi declared. He also noted the country's sweeping urban transformation, which included the removal of slums, construction of new housing, and the establishment of smart cities. A flagship initiative in this effort, he said, is Haya Karima (Decent Life), which now benefits nearly 60 million citizens. 'I affirm here,' he continued, 'that Egypt—refusing to let its people live in slums or unsafe areas—will not leave any deserving citizen uncertain about their future or housing.' In conclusion, President El-Sisi expressed his gratitude to the revolutionaries of July 1952, as well as to the Armed Forces, police, and all Egyptians working to build and protect the nation. Surveillance Footage Captures Assassination of Ukrainian intelligence Officer in Kyiv

Taarek Refaat A senior Ukrainian intelligence officer was gunned down in a targeted daylight attack in central Kyiv on Wednesday morning, in what officials and sources describe as a high-level assassination. Colonel Ivan Voronich, a senior operations officer in the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), was fatally shot around 9:00 a.m. on July 10 in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district, according to multiple sources, including former Ukrainian MP Ihor Mosiychuk. The attacker, reportedly using a pistol equipped with a suppressor, approached Colonel Voronich and fired five rounds at close range before fleeing the scene. The victim, born in July 1974, died instantly from multiple gunshot wounds. 'An unknown assailant walked up to Colonel Ivan Voronich and fired five well-aimed shots at point-blank range,' Mosiychuk wrote on his Telegram channel. 'The officer died on the spot due to penetrating gunshot injuries.' The Ukrainian police initially reported a fatal shooting in the district without disclosing the victim's identity. Confirmation of Voronich's death came later from former Special Operations Forces commander Roman Chervinskyi, who described the killing as a 'devastating loss' for Ukraine's security services. Voronich had reportedly been serving as Chief Operations Officer in the 1st Division of Directorate 16, part of Ukraine's Special Operations Center, since November 2024. His role, according to security analysts, would have involved high-level intelligence missions amid Ukraine's ongoing war with Russia. The incident comes at a time of heightened internal and cross-border tensions, with Ukrainian and Russian intelligence operations often clashing both physically and digitally. In response to the assassination, Kyiv police sealed off the crime scene and launched a city-wide manhunt for the perpetrator. As of Thursday morning, no suspects have been apprehended, and no group has claimed responsibility. Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and gathering eyewitness testimony to reconstruct the events leading up to the killing. Speculation is already mounting over whether the assassination was part of a broader intelligence conflict. The Ukrainian government has not yet issued an official statement, though internal sources suggest the SBU and military intelligence are conducting parallel investigations. This is one of the most high-profile targeted killings in Kyiv in recent months, raising questions about security protocols for senior intelligence personnel in the capital. read more 2 Most Inspirational Green Projects in Egypt AEW Dynamite, WWE NXT to Strive over Viewership Tonight Egypt Marks 70th Anniv. of 2011 Revolution, National Police Day In Depth: WWE NXT Halloween Havoc In Depth: AEW Dynamite, WWE NXT Tuesday Viewership Strive Videos & Features WATCH: Egyptians Break Ramadan Fasts in Matariya Videos & Features GrEEk Campus Hosts Jobzella Fifth Career Fair Videos & Features 3 Iconic Ramadan Songs of All Times Videos & Features Top 4 Destinations to Visit in Upper Egypt News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Arts & Culture Hawass Foundation Launches 1st Course to Teach Ancient Egyptian Language
