I note that you have changed the achievement levels of your Word Wheel puzzle in the print edition, expanding from three (average, good and excellent) to five (beginner, good, brilliant, superb and genius). I appreciate the promotion from excellence to genius that this implies, but tend to the opinion that you have overestimated my abilities, which I suspect to be no better than superb, and on some days merely brilliant. Also, I am surprised at the paltry target that you have set for beginners. If you can't make more than one word from nine letters, you are not a beginner at Word Wheel, but at basic literacy.Chris WalshReading

Single Lotto ticket holder wins £4 million jackpot
A single ticket holder has won the £4 million jackpot in Saturday's Lotto draw. The winning Lotto numbers were 11, 17, 27, 30, 39 and 46 while the bonus number was 56. Players have been urged to check their tickets and call in to claim the top prize, with the jackpot winner matching all six main numbers to take the £4,003,513 sum. Set of balls 10 and draw machine Lancelot were used. Wednesday's jackpot will be an estimated £2 million. Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at The National Lottery operator Allwyn, said: 'Amazing news for our lucky Lotto players, as one ticket-holder has won tonight's £4 million jackpot. 'Luck is clearly in the air, as this is the second Lotto jackpot win in a week, after a single ticket-holder bagged last Saturday's (May 31) £3.9 million jackpot.' No players matched all five numbers in Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw. Twelve players won £13,000 each after they managed to match four numbers. The winning Thunderball numbers were 01, 05, 13, 17 and 39 while the Thunderball was 08. No-one matched all five numbers plus the Thunderball to scoop the £500,000 top prize, but one ticket holder matched all five regular numbers to win £5,000.

Five ways to make your own dips using ingredients you may already have
YOU'LL be loaded this summer with the latest food trend. Nibbles and dips piled with extras are everywhere, from hummus with falafel at Sainsbury's to Marks & Spencer's mascarpone with roas-ted tomatoes and Parmesan. But you can make your own using ingredients you may already have . . . HEAPED HUMMUS: Start with an inexpensive pot of basic hummus. Pour it into a bowl and transform it with a tasty topping. Roast a drained tin of chickpeas with olive oil and salt. Put this on top of the hummus with chopped fresh herbs or crispy onions. For something cheesy, crumble over Greek-style cheese, chopped olives or cucumber and a sprinkle of smoked paprika — or swap the cheese for cherry tomatoes. LOADED LEAVES: Sturdy lettuce such as little gem can hold a topping. Add shredded chicken, grated carrot and sliced cucumber then top with a dollop of mayo or drizzle of sauce. Make sweet satay with peanut butter, sweet chilli sauce and a dash of soy sauce. For a fishy dish, mix tinned salmon with spring onion, plain yoghurt and a squirt of lemon juice, then add leaves. TOP YOG: You can give a yoghurt-based dip like Greek tzatziki a lift. Serve in a dish and load with chopped tomatoes, peppers, red onion, cucumber, parsley and pine nuts. Add a swirl of olive oil. CHIP FOR THE TOP: Loaded crisps are a great way to use up leftovers. Get a bag of tortilla or pitta chips, tip them on to a baking sheet and pour over some shop-bought salsa. Add chopped chicken, crispy bacon bits, sliced peppers, tomato chunks or olives. Finally, add grated cheese and bake until hot and bubbly. BETTER BANANAS: Fire up your fruit. Split open a banana and top with peanut butter, crumbled biscuits and honey. Or load the banana with chopped strawberries, blue-berries, nuts and a grating of dark chocolate.
