JoJo Siwa's mum says 'she's fallen in love with Chris Hughes' in emotional video

Daily Record25-04-2025
Jessalynn Siwa has seemingly endorsed her daughter JoJo's close relationship with fellow Celebrity Big Brother contestant Chris Hughes, posting a video that dubs them the "closest love story to Titanic yet". The clip shared by Jessalynn shows JoJo and Chris dancing, accompanied by a caption stating: "JoJo and Chris are so giving me Jack and Rose vibes. "She's the rich one who has fell in love with someone who is lower class than her and she has probably never had this much fun in her life. This is definitely the closest love story to titanic yet." But that's not all; Jessalynn also posted another TikTok from influencer Max Balegde discussing the pair. "If you would have told me in 2025 where the lesbian queen of gay pop herself JoJo Siwa would be in the Big Brother house questioning her sexuality because of Jesy Nelson's ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes from Love Island, I would not big fat believe you," he remarks in the video. "We've got to the point where JoJo Siwa's non-binary lesbian lover in the outside world has written in the letter that they have a lot to catch up on," he continues. "Passive aggression beef sandwich. What's going on? Have we lost the plot? I fear the plot has been lost." This comes after an emotional episode where Celebrity Big Brother finalists received letters from their loved ones. However, JoJo was left underwhelmed by her letter, which included a brief message from her partner Kath Ebbs. The letter from JoJo's mum read: "The most important thing to tell you is a message from Kath because I know you really miss them the most. Kath's keen to see you when you get out, inverted commas.'". It continued: "I've had so much fun with Kath while you were away, we've had lots of FaceTimes and she even came over my house to watch the launch show." JoJo expressed her disappointment to Big Brother, saying: "I do have beef to pick with them though, they didn't even say in the note that they love me. I will not let them live that down." She also confided in Jack P Shepherd, saying: "I honestly like, I'm finding myself really analysing that note and I don't like it." JoJo was particularly hurt by the lack of affection in the message, saying she was expecting more from Kath. During last night's episode viewers were stunned by a poignant exchange between JoJo and Chris, which unfolded on the live stream. In a secluded spot in the garden, JoJo, 21, and Chris, 32, shared heartfelt reflections on their experiences inside the house and their apprehensions about re-entering the real world. Whispering closely to Chris, JoJo confided, "I'm gonna miss it. I'm gonna miss you," a sentiment that drew a gentle kiss on her forehead from the Love Island star who quipped, "Even if you've got the sweatiest head, it still smells quite nice." Emotionally, Chris revealed the depth of his connection with JoJo during their stay. Pouring out his feelings to the TV star, he said, "It's quite sad isn't it. It actually is a bit, isn't it? That day I was really sad I'd come out of there, and if I didn't have you, I'd have only really had Jack and Chesney who I was comfortable with talking to. But they wouldn't get me. Like, they wouldn't know I was sad, but you knew straight away." Without hesitation, JoJo offered reassurance: "Of course I did". The pair continued to discuss the emotional rollercoaster of their journey, with Chris adding, "You were sad last night. I could see it in your eyes."

Love Island's Dejon and Megan put on a loved-up display as they join their glamorous co-stars at the boozy reunion party - after he broke his silence over 'exposé' book

The Love Island cast reunited for a boozy off-screen party at the One Hundred Shoreditch in London on Thursday night. Leading the way, Megan and Dejon proved their romance is still going strong as they put on a loved-up display for the cameras - after he broke his silence amid news of the release of a book detailing his alleged 'gaslighting and abuse'. Megan wowed in a daring mesh gown adorned with glittering accents and bold cut-outs, while Dejon kept it sleek in a dark-toned look. Helena made an entrance in a black corset top paired with a flowing maxi skirt. Emma and Andrada opted for plunging designs that highlighted their enviable figures, while Meg F commanded attention in a deep-red mini with a structured neckline. Emily exuded elegance in a flowing ivory halter dress, and Billykiss brought the heat in a burnt-orange set that showcased her defined midriff. Ty and Angel stepped out hand-in-hand, with the influencer dazzling in a shimmering silver co-ord. Poppy stunned in a bold green cut-out number, while Lauren turned heads in the same striking piece worn by Emma. Also spotted arriving were Giorgio, Boris Vidovic, Caprice Alexandra, and Will Means. The Love Island stars kept fans in the loop throughout the evening, sharing plenty of updates on their Instagram Stories. Winners Toni and Cach captured a tender moment on video, while Shakira joined Emma and Rheo for a playful pose. Harry shared a lively shot alongside Dejon, and Yasmin smiled brightly next to Andrada and Alima. Lucy linked up with Toni for a quick snap, and Cach gathered with Boris and Ty for another cheerful photo. The night out comes after Dejon broke his silence amid news of the release of a book detailing his alleged 'gaslighting and abuse'. Helena made an entrance in a black corset top paired with a flowing maxi skirt. Megan F was a vision in a strapless mini dress Poppy caught the eye in a green cut out dress The former semi-professional footballer and personal trainer, 26, came under fire in the villa for his treatment of now-girlfriend Megan, with whom he failed to reach the final of the show earlier this month. In announcing news of her book, Niah said: 'Dejon is a narcissist, he's manipulative. I've been telling everyone this for the past 10 years now but no one believed me.' Following the announcement, Dejon took to Instagram to share a trio of images alongside a caption defending himself against the allegations. In his caption, Dejon penned: 'I've stayed quiet, but that doesn't mean it hasn't affected me. I hold my self accountable for my communication and everyday I'm growing as a person, so thank you for those who see the good in me... Dejon is the subject of a book - entitled Surviving Dejon - penned by Niah Sienna, who is said to be his brother's sister and no blood relation to the star. 'I'm not just a character on an entertainment reality tv show I'm also a human being with real emotions, some of the stuff I've seen said about me has been hard to deal with and they are the furthest thing from the truth... 'I questioned why people would do these things and it was getting me nowhere as I couldn't understand and is something I would never do to somebody else but what's kept me grounded is movement... 'Running, training, pushing myself when everything in my head feels heavy. It clears my mind, helps me breathe, reminds me of who I am outside of the noise. 'If you're struggling mentally, I get it. I really do. You don't have to have it all figured out just find that one thing that brings you back to yourself and take it one step at a time.' The Daily Mail has contacted Dejon for comment. It's been over a week since Toni and Cach won the twelfth series of Love Island on Monday evening, making show history in the process. ITV shared the voting breakdown for the four couples that made it to the final, with the figures confirming it was the narrowest win since the show launched in 2015. In total, Toni and Cach received 33.5% of the vote, with Shakira and Harry taking 26.2% - showing the result was a close call. Yasmin and Jamie came third with 22% and Angel and Ty placed fourth with 18.3%. With just 15% between fourth and first place, it's the closest final vote in history. The results of the votes come after host Maya Jama, 30, announced that the couple had received the highest percentage of the public vote and would take home the £50,000 cash prize. In announcing news of her book, Niah said: 'Dejon is a narcissist, he's manipulative. I've been telling everyone this for the past 10 years now but no one believed me' Toni has made history as the first American contestant to enter the UK Love Island villa, and she and Cach seem set on making their relationship work despite the transatlantic distance. The couple had a rocky beginning after meeting during Casa Amor, as it wasn't long until the pair found themselves in a major love triangle with Harrison. Yet once Harrison decided to leave the villa with Lauren, Toni set her sights on Cach, and the pair went from strength to strength. Toni and Cach won despite the bookies' odds revealing it was Harry and Shakira in the running to win, just hours ahead of the live final.

Narinder Kaur criticises BBC's decision to cast Thomas Skinner on Strictly

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Narinder Kaur has questioned the BBC casting Thomas Skinner on Strictly Come Dancing. This week the line-up for the upcoming season of the long-running series was released, with some of the celebrities taking part including Vicky Pattison, Dani Dyer and Alex Kingston. Yesterday it was also announced that former The Apprentice star Thomas, 34, had signed up. 'I'm beyond excited to be joining Strictly Come Dancing. I've tackled the boardroom and some big breakfasts in my time but stepping onto the dance floor under that glitter ball is next level stuff!' he said. 'I've never danced in my life (other than at weddings) but I'm ready to graft and of course have a laugh. Bring on the sequins, sambas and most importantly, the BOSH to the ballroom!' However, his casting has caused some backlash, including from TV star Narinder, who also claimed she was told that she was 'too controversial' for the show herself. Narinder, I respect that you stand up for what you believe in, not everyone's got the guts to do that. Yes, I've got a past, but I'm not here to divide people. I'm just trying to get people to believe in themselves and realise they can do more than they think. Life can be so much… — Thomas Skinner ⚒ (@iamtomskinner) August 14, 2025 In the caption of a video posted to X, the Jeremy Vine panellist and former Big Brother star, 52, said: 'Apparently I was deemed too controversial for @‌bbcstrictly because they only hire quiet brown and black women that fit in a box. 'But you can be a white man AND be controversial and you'll be hired on the spot! Hello Thomas Skinner!!' In a statement, she added: 'There's only so much you can say in a short video, but I felt something many others have been feeling all day and that was complete shock and utter bewilderment – to see Thomas be announced in the line-up, considering all the rhetoric about how people with right-wing opinions are cancelled and not allowed on the BBC. 'I've debated Tom on Good Morning Britain before, I supported his book release at his launch party, there is a huge disparity in what certain demographics of people are allowed to say and still get one show after another. 'I met the Strictly team at the TV Choice Awards earlier this year and got talking to one of the bookers about the show generally – and she said, 'You're a bit too controversial and we can't have that for the show',' she added. Soon after Skinner replied directly to her post. 'Narinder, I respect that you stand up for what you believe in, not everyone's got the guts to do that. Yes, I've got a past, but I'm not here to divide people. I'm just trying to get people to believe in themselves and realise they can do more than they think. 'Life can be so much better when you let happiness in and don't always be angry towards others. If I've ever upset you, I'm sorry… that's never been my intention. I wish ya nothing but peace, happiness, and a life you can truly enjoy. Bosh.' He also addressed the backlash from the public, writing: 'They say don't read the comments on social media. But I couldn't help myself. I've had absolute pellets all day on my Instagram about going on Strictly. Why are some people so angry that don't even know me.' In recent weeks Skinner claimed he'd faced 'death threats' and 'vile comments' about his children after sharing a series of posts on social media in which he said, 'something's gone wrong' in the UK, and that 'there is nothing wrong with being proud of where you're from'. He also sparked criticism for writing that it 'was not far-right' to be 'flying your flag and loving your country'. The TV star and businessman said that London was 'hostile', 'tense' and 'not safe out there anymore'. More Trending Earlier this week he also met US vice president JD Vance, who is currently holidaying in the Cotswolds. During the 2024 United States presidential election, Skinner expressed support for Republican candidate Donald Trump. I love Trump I think he is brilliant, that's my opinion. I think it's good he is back in charge, it will be good for the UK economy,' he said. Since appearing on The Apprentice in 2019, Skinner has also appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Wheel, Michael McIntyre's Big Show, Good Morning Britain, Faking It, and Celebrity MasterChef.
