Iranian army launches surprise military drills following IAEA decision

Saba Yemen2 days ago

Tehran - Saba:
Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri issued an order on Thursday to begin a series of military drills called "Eqtedar," with the codename "Ya Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him."
The Iranian Army's General Staff Communications Center reported that Major General Bagheri offered congratulations on Eid al-Ghadir, explaining that the goal of these drills is to enhance the defensive and deterrence capabilities of the armed forces and assess their readiness.
The center stated that these drills are being planned and executed in light of the change in the annual calendar of the armed forces and with a focus on enemy movements, according to the Iranian News Agency (IRNA).
This decision comes after the International Atomic Energy Agency's Board of Governors adopted a resolution on Thursday alleging Iran's non-compliance with its nuclear safeguards obligations for the first time in nearly 20 years.

Iranian Armed Forces spokesman: Replacement commanders will continue martyrs' path

Tehran – Saba: Iranian Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said on Saturday that replacement commanders will continue the martyrs' path with vigor. Shekarchi added: "This is a miscalculation by the Zionist regime and its supporters, who believe they can weaken the armed forces by killing their commanders." Regarding the Zionist regime's claim that Iran targeted three residential areas in Operation True Promise 3, he said, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA: "The fake Zionist regime attacked our residential areas yesterday morning, Friday, killing a large number of innocent people, including women and children. Therefore, this regime is considered a criminal usurper who attacked residential areas and killed innocent people." Shekarchi added: "The Zionist regime is completely incapable of intercepting our powerful and highly accurate missiles, which are capable of penetrating various Zionist defenses, even with the assistance of the regime's allies, especially the United States. Our missiles have bypassed these defenses several times, and the "True Promise 3" missile was launched with far greater destructive power. Therefore, these claims are the result of their inability." The Iranian Armed Forces spokesman continued: "If some of our missiles hit residential areas, it is because the Zionist regime created interference to divert the missiles' path from hitting military targets. This actually prevents our missiles from hitting military centers, especially the headquarters of the Zionist Ministry of Defense. Naturally, they were unsuccessful despite all these tricks." Iranian Army: Missile Attacks on Zionist entity will be 20 times more intensive

Tehran - Saba: The Iranian Army spokesman announced on Saturday that the missile attacks Iran will launch on the Zionist entity will be 20 times more intense than previous attacks. The spokesman explained that the next missile launch will involve approximately 2,000 missiles. The Iranian Fars News Agency, quoting an informed military source, reported that "the war that began with Israeli attacks will expand in the coming days to include all occupied territories and American bases in the region." The source noted that "military leaders confirm that the confrontation will not be limited to the limited actions carried out last night." The source confirmed, as reported by Fars News Agency, that "Iranian strikes will continue and will be extremely painful for the aggressors and will make them regret it." For its part, the Iranian Tasnim News Agency quoted an Iranian official as confirming that attacks against the Zionist entity will continue at an escalating pace, stressing that Tehran considers it within its legitimate right to respond to the aggression that occurred at dawn on June 13. The agency quoted this unidentified official as saying in a statement to CNN: "Iran will target the regional bases of any country that provides support to Israel." He added that the United States, whose forces are deployed in the southern Persian Gulf states, Iraq, and Jordan, is not alone. France and Germany also have forces stationed in Jordan, and British forces launched from Cyprus participated in Operations True Promise 1 and 2 in support of the Zionist entity. The Iranian official reiterated that Tehran considers it within its legitimate right to respond to the Zionist aggression at dawn on June 13, and that the pace of attacks against the Zionist entity will accelerate. Tonight, Iran announced an attack on Israeli sites in response to the ongoing raids targeting Tehran and Iranian cities, which have killed dozens, including a group of first-rank military leaders and nuclear experts. Iran confirmed the infliction of losses on the Zionist entity. In six waves that continued until the morning, Iran launched hundreds of missiles at large areas of the occupying entity, including the headquarters of the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
