Nobles Properties enhances AlShahd 3's residential security infrastructure
Amman, Jordan – Nobles Properties has announced a series of upgrades to the security infrastructure at AlShahd 3, reinforcing its commitment to creating safe, well-planned communities that prioritize resident comfort and quality of life.
The improvements include the installation of a modern, 24/7 surveillance system covering all entrances and key facilities within the development to ensure continuous monitoring and rapid emergency response. Engineers completed a three-meter-high perimeter wall around the entire site, along with a secure, architecturally distinctive main gate that reflects the identity of the project and enables controlled access.
Nobles has contracted a specialized firm to provide round-the-clock security and on-site personnel as part of its plan to complete an integrated security system as landowners begin building their homes.
AlShahd 3 is one of Nobles' flagship residential developments—a gated community located at the intersection of Airport Road and the Amman Development Corridor. The project includes 97 residential plots within a thoughtfully master-planned environment, offering convenient access to key destinations such as Airport Road, the Seventh Circle, and Queen Alia International Airport.
Designed with modern infrastructure and organized roadways, AlShahd 3 also features generous green spaces, family parks, sports courts, and an outdoor fitness zone. The project reflects Nobles' broader vision of developing integrated, modern communities that combine strong infrastructure with recreational and lifestyle amenities—meeting the needs of families and individuals seeking a safe, contemporary living experience in the heart of Amman.

Jordan: Businesses report strong sales ahead of Eid Al Adha
AMMAN — As Eid Al Adha approaches, economic activity across various sectors in Jordan is witnessing a notable surge, driven by heightened consumer demand and traditional holiday preparations. From livestock markets and clothing stores to bakeries and beauty salons, businesses are reporting a seasonal uptick that provides a welcome boost amid persistent economic pressures. The garment and fashion sector, which has faced a challenging year due to inflation and shifting consumer habits, is showing signs of recovery as families shop for new clothes ahead of the holiday. 'In the last ten days to two weeks, our sales have nearly doubled compared with a normal month,' said Hala Abdulla, manager and founder of a women's clothing boutique in Amman. 'Customers are looking for elegant but affordable outfits. Eid is still a time to dress up and feel joy, especially for children.' Bakeries and sweets shops are also ramping up production to meet increased demand for traditional treats such as ma'amoul, a beloved sweet served during holiday gatherings and visits. 'We increased production by 40 to 50 per cent this week,' said Mahmoud Issawi, an employee at a well-known bakery in Amman. 'It's a hectic period, but it's rewarding. Our ma'amoul trays are being pre-ordered days in advance.' In downtown Amman's Al Balad area, Salma Hussein, a mother of three, said she's doing her best to preserve the spirit of Eid despite financial constraints. 'We've had to cut back on many things, but we always try to make Eid feel special. The children look forward to new clothes, sweets, family visits; they need to experience the joy, even in a modest way.' Despite ongoing economic challenges, Eid Al Adha continues to invigorate a wide spectrum of Jordan's economy, offering a brief yet meaningful season of revival, community, and celebration. © Copyright The Jordan Times. FashionTV Acacia by BNW Developments unveiled at an exclusive industry showcase in Dubai
Dubai: In a glittering evening curated with precision and flair, FashionTV Acacia by BNW Developments made its official debut before an elite audience of investors, global partners, dignitaries, and industry decision-makers. Hosted by the iconic Ania J, globally known as the "Voice of FashionTV," the evening was a celebration of vision, innovation, and the evolution of branded real estate. A culmination of BNW's design-first ethos and FashionTV's global lifestyle influence, FashionTV Acacia is a high-concept residential project rising on the shores of Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, a destination fast emerging as the UAE's most promising frontier for tourism, foreign investment, and luxury development. With its striking architecture, panoramic sea views, and immersive design language, the project embodies a bold rethinking urban living where fashion, functionality, and future-readiness converge. Designed with meticulous detail, FashionTV Acacia by BNW Developments offers a mix of 1 to 4-bedroom residences and penthouses, blending structured elegance with immersive amenities like private lounges, wellness sanctuaries, landscaped social pods, and sea-facing infinity decks. The interiors and communal spaces echo the polished energy of FashionTV, where every material, palette, and proportion reflect a life lived in high style. Mr. Ankur Aggarwal, Chairman and Founder of BNW Developments, shared his perspective on the collaboration: 'In an age where consumers are no longer just investing in space but in identity and experiential value, FashionTV Acacia presents a distinctive proposition. This is a carefully designed confluence of global culture, regional ambition, and the language of lifestyle. At BNW, we've always believed in creating meaningful intersections between established industries and transformational real estate. Following our successful foray into heritage-led luxury through our collaboration with IHCL for Taj Wellington Mews, it was essential to explore a completely different dimension this time, one rooted in contemporary culture and aspirational living. FashionTV, with its unparalleled global resonance, offered just that.' He further emphasized the relevance of Ras Al Khaimah in this vision: 'Al Marjan Island, and Ras Al Khaimah as a whole, are no longer peripheral players. With strategic infrastructure investments, global hospitality interest, and visionary governance, this region is fast becoming a nucleus for new-world urbanism. FashionTV Acacia is designed to match this energy, a future-forward offering built within a destination that itself represents the future.' Mr. Vivek Anand Oberoi, Managing Director and Co-Founder of BNW Developments, added a thoughtful layer to the partnership: 'FashionTV Acacia was never about aesthetic indulgence alone. It's about capturing a cultural pulse, the global shift toward curated spaces that reflect individual identity. We see the home as an extension of expression. With this collaboration, we've translated the ethos of FashionTV… its editorial sharpness, its contemporary rhythm into an architectural experience. It's not a project we launched, but a philosophy we built.' He added, 'There's also something incredibly compelling about Ras Al Khaimah right now. It offers the openness of vision that cities often lose with time. By anchoring this project on Al Marjan Island, we're positioning it at the nexus of nature, policy, and international attention. This is where the next chapter of UAE's development narrative is being written, and we're proud to contribute to that growth story.' Maximilian Dennis Edelweiss, representative of FashionTV and CEO of IP-Nation, remarked: "To collaborate with BNW was to find a partner who understood that real estate today is about crafting meaningful experiences. Together, through FashionTV Acacia, we've imagined a space that blurs the line between fashion and function, turning lifestyle into a livable legacy." BNW Developments has emerged as a powerful force in redefining the real estate paradigm in the UAE. From heritage-rooted collaborations like Taj Wellington Mews, to the bold modernity of FashionTV Acacia, the brand continues to introduce disruptive, brand-led living experiences to the region, each one more defining than the last. And this is only the beginning. Several new collaborations are already underway, each aimed at further enriching the landscape of global residential living through the lens of storytelling, substance, and strategic thinking. Abu Dhabi real estate: Aldar announces $10.9bn Fahid Island development with plan for 6,000 homes
Aldar has launched a massive new Abu Dhabi island real estate development project as it plans 6,000 new residences in the city. Aldar unveiled the masterplan for Fahid Island in Abu Dhabi, which has an 11km coastline and a gross development value of more than AED40bn ($10.9bn). The development will have 4.6km of pristine beachfront on one side of the island and mangrove forests on the other. Fahid Island in Abu Dhabi Every part of the 2.7 million sq m island is no more than a five-minute walk to the water's edge, creating a vibrant island culture complete with refined coastal residences, curated leisure, and 5-star hospitality. Aldar has also partnered with a leading international institution to introduce an elevated education experience to Fahid Island in line with Abu Dhabi's vision to become a regional hub for excellence in education. The school will become an integral part of the community, providing a key differentiator for family life on the island. Fahid Island stretches between Yas Island and Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi. Mohamed Al Mubarak, Chairman of Aldar said: 'Abu Dhabi is a thriving, global destination where heritage and innovation combine to create a world-class environment to live, work, and explore. Sustainable and inclusive development has been a critical part of this success, which is why Aldar remains focused on delivering communities that reflect the values and ambitions of the UAE. ' Fahid Island is the latest chapter in that journey—building on the success of Saadiyat and Yas Islands to offer a new benchmark in premium waterfront living, wellness, and sustainable design.' Talal Al Dhiyebi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Aldar, said: 'Our plans for Fahid Island support a thriving real estate market in Abu Dhabi, where we are seeing incredible demand from buyers within the local market as well as overseas investors. 'With a gross development value of over AED40bn, Fahid Island is one of the largest mixed use residential masterplans launched in Abu Dhabi and will ensure the emirate consolidates its position as one of the world's most desirable destinations to reside, invest, and visit.' Aldar said thirty per cent of space on Fahid Island will be dedicated to natural spaces – from lush vegetation and restorative gardens to invigorating green trails. A 10km landscaped Berm Park will form the island's wellness and fitness corridor with running tracks and three cycling routes that seamlessly connect to Abu Dhabi's cycle loop. Water stations, shaded rest areas, and fitness nodes are strategically placed throughout to cater to athletes of all levels. Life on the water defines Fahid Island, with kite surfing, paddle boarding, illuminated night swimming, and volleyball all available to residents. The island's 2km waterfront promenade will serve as the island's social hub, with a mix of retail, dining, and art experiences. Coral Drive, the island's boutique retail boulevard will offer a unique selection of trendy outlets, concept stores, art galleries, ballet school and cafés as well as eclectic street furniture, and public artworks. Fahid Island is the world's first Fitwel certified island, highlighting the health-focused design of the destination. The island has also received LEED City and Communities Platinum precertification and is targeting an Estidama 3-Pearl rating. Aldar has unveiled Fahid Island, Abu Dhabi's first coastal wellness community and its latest landmark destination. — Aldar (@aldar) June 2, 2025 In addition, the masterplan has been thoughtfully designed to ensure and promote eco-friendly mobility and connectivity, with pedestrian bridges linking the two sides of the island, as well as a streetscape designed to prioritise foot traffic paired with a shading strategy using innovative design for outdoor thermal comfort. Aldar has engaged some of the world's most renowned architects to design the island's residential offering, including Japanese architects Kengo Kuma and Koichi Takada who have designed two separate residential concepts on the island. Further residential developments are being designed by London headquartered ACME and UAE based NAGA Architects. More than 6,000 luxury residences are planned for the island, ranging from apartments and townhouses to ultra-luxury villas.
