Nothing Phone 3 launch is on July 1 and now the company has confirmed the chipset it will be using to power its first flagship-grade phone in the market. Nothing has shared that one of the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen hardware is part of its package with the Phone 3 which is tipped to be priced around EUR 800 (Rs 81,000 approx) in the market.
Nothing CEO Carl Pei has talked about the Phone 3 being a premium, flagship-grade device and these new details shed further light on its promise.
Nothing has confirmed that the Phone 3 model will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which is a rank below the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite version. We've recently seen the 8s Gen 4 offered with the iQOO Neo 10 that is priced under Rs 40,000 but Nothing Phone 3 is expected to launch for around Rs 65,000 which takes it well into the premium bracket.
Nothing generally goes for the experience of its device rather than load it with the top-end specs. The Phone 3 could be part of this ongoing formula.
A recent leaked render of the Phone 3 has shared some intriguing details about the new device. The image here clearly shows a new camera layout at the back where you can see three sensors, and the large module housing the telephoto lens.
Earlier reports suggest Nothing Phone 3 will come with a trio of 50MP cameras, and this new leak seems to corroborate with those details. This will definitely be an upgrade on the Phone 2 that came with a dual rear camera system and a lower launch price. AI will be at the forefront of the new flagship device and Nothing is likely to improve on the Essential Key and Space with better returns.

Arunachal to expand investment park to boost start-ups
1 2 3 4 Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu announced plans to expand the AP Innovation and Investment Park (APIIP) to accommodate more entrepreneurs, increasing the current capacity from 50 start-ups per year. The expansion aims to enhance the AP Entrepreneurship Development Program, according to an official statement from the Chief Minister's Office. Established in Aug 2020, APIIP serves as the state's primary incubator under the Arunachal Pradesh Start-Up Policy. It organizes annual start-up challenges to identify promising entrepreneurs, providing seed funding and offering nine-month incubation and pre-incubation programs to help them achieve commercial success. In the past four years, APIIP has supported 106 start-ups across three cohorts, distributing over Rs 4.5 crore in seed funding. He, along with deputy CM Chowna Mein, awarded graduation certificates to Cohort 3.0 and prize money to Cohort 4.0 start-ups. APIIP also signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with seven educational institutions to establish mentorship programs for new start-ups. These institutions include Arunachal Pradesh University, Pasighat; Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai; Dorjee Khandu Govt College, Tawang; Dera Natung Govt College, Itanagar; NERIST, Nirjuli; NIT, Jote; and Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh. Many switch to greener mode of transport as EVs count go up
Davangere/DHNS: Vehicle users in Davangere are gradually switching over to greener mode of transport. For, in the last three years, there has been a significant rise in registration of electric vehicles (EVs) in the district. According to the officials of Regional Transport department, as many as 8,153 electric vehicles were registered in the district from 2022 to August 2025. The district recorded 848 electric vehicles in 2022 - of them 833 were electric scooters and 15 were electric electric vehicles are cost-effective when compared to fuel-driven vehicles, the number of people opting for e-vehicles has gone up in the district. In 2023, a total of 2,392 electric scooters and 55 cars were registered. Similarly, as many as 2,796 EV scooters and 94 cars were registered in 2024 and about 1,845 scooters and 124 cars were registered in 2025 until August. Speaking to DH, Regional Transport Officer H S Bhagavan Das said that people are keen to buy electric vehicles as they are cost-effective and generally produce less pollution than gasoline or diesel cars, particularly in terms of tailpipe EVs themselves have zero tailpipe emissions as they don't release pollutants directly into the air. Besides, EV vehicle owners need not spend much on maintenance in terms of changing engine oil as in the case of traditional considering the number of electric vehicles, the charging points are very minimal in the city. Except for the one run by Bescom at Ambedkar Circle, the charging points are limited in the city. Speaking to DH, Dhananjay, who owns EV car said 'I charge my car near my household. When I need it fast, I visit the recharge station and it would take about one hour and the fare is around Rs 300.'It had been decided to set up charging points at a total of 21 places in Davangere district under public-private-partnership model. A proposal has already been submitted to the government to set up the stations at government-owned, currently vacant 30X40-area sites such as the deputy commissioner's office, taluk office, zilla panchayat, mini Vidhana Soudha, general hospital and bus terminals. These stations with a capacity of 90 KW will operate 24 hours a day. To keep it functional round-the-clock, it is planned to ensure continuous electricity supply. 'As per the government's instructions, 21 places have been identified in the district to conduct a survey and to set up charging points. The construction work of these will be taken up after the government's further orders,' Bescom Executive Engineer A K Thippeswamy told DH.'Bescom is operating a charging station on an experimental basis near Ambedkar Circle. The users have to download EV app on their mobile phone and scan the code for charging the vehicle. They have to pay fare via digital payment. It is not being operated manually, however,' he added. He further said that it was decided to set up charging points on the premises of 12 Indian Oil Corporation Limited fuel stations in the city. Of them, only five have paid the fee to Bescom to set up the infrastructure.

Synopsis The Indian government has approved the purchase of 97 LCA Tejas Mark 1A fighter jets for the Indian Air Force, strengthening indigenous defence manufacturing. With over 65% of components made in India, the aircraft will replace ageing MiG-21s. Defence sources told ANI that the clearance came during a high-level meeting and will now allow Hindustan Aeronautics Limited to begin marks the second major order for the Mark 1A jets. Defence sources said that more than 65% of components in the new aircraft are of indigenous origin, highlighting India's growing self-reliance in aerospace Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari had first announced the plan to acquire 97 additional jets while visiting Spain, signalling the Air Force's push to expand its indigenous fighter is expected to receive further orders for over 200 LCA Mark 2 jets and a similar number of fifth-generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft. These initiatives align with the Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India missions, emphasising self-reliance in defence and aerospace manufacturing. Recently, the Defence Acquisition Council approved proposals for acquiring 156 LCH Prachand helicopters and upgrading 84 Su-30MKI fighters, with these projects collectively valued at Rs 1.6 lakh crore. The first version of the Tejas aircraft was inducted in 2016. Currently, two IAF squadrons operate the aircraft, which is expected to become the largest fighter fleet in the Air Force in the coming years.
