The event will be held at the Ola Gigafactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, and will serve as a platform for unveiling the Indian EV brand's latest roadmap for products and technologies, including an official showcase of the latest MoveOS 6 software for electric two-wheelers. The car has surpassed the 36,000 unit sales milestone since its introduction, further solidifying its status as a segment leader. The robust sales have resulted in MG's EV market share increasing to 32 per cent during Q2 CY2025, a 4 per cent rise from the last quarter. During the same period, average Windsor sales rose by 17 per cent, while overall EV wholesales for the brand grew by 28 per cent. It is expected to be the blacked-out version of the BE 6. In the teaser, the silhouette of the BE 6 is visible. This is the first blacked-out version of an electric SUV that the brand is making. As of now, we do not know what the new special edition will be called. The brand already sells the Carbon Edition of the Scorpio N and Ebony Edition of the XUV700. The BE 6 will get a black exterior paint job, along with alloy wheels now also finished in black. Apart from this, the interior will also get black upholstery along with piano black inserts. Ola Electric likely to enter sports scooter segment
Ola Electric is likely to announce its foray into the sports scooter segment on August 15 as part of its plans to expand its product portfolio, according to sources. The company plans to unveil the new range at its upcoming annual event on August 15. In the run-up to its annual 'Sankalp' event, the company on Wednesday dropped a teaser on what looks like a sportier version of its scooter line-up. As per sources, Ola Electric is gearing up to expand its portfolio with its entry into the sports scooter segment. According to people in the know, these sports scooters could feature artificial intelligence features powered by Ola Krutrim. The sports scooter segment has been taking off in India on the back of products such as the TVS Ntorq, Yamaha Aerox and Aprilia SR160. Earlier this year, the company unveiled its Gen 3 scooter portfolio that boasted of first-in-segment features like brake-by-wire, dual ABS, and variants with its own 4680 cell.

Bhavish Aggarwal-led Ola Electric has released a series of video teasers on social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), ahead of its latest launch event, called Sankalp 2025 this Independence Day (on August 15). Highly anticipated among these ventures is the announcement of the latest MoveOS 6 software for its electric two-wheelers. Notably, the videos hinted at artificial intelligence (AI) features in the new software. Sources also told PTI that among the AI features on offer will be an AI chatbot, voice assistance, and predictive services, powered by Ola's AI arm Krutrim. The MoveOS 5 was annnounced at Sankalp 2024 last year, with a bunch of upgrades for convinience, safety and security. In a separate video, the company also teased a first look of its Moonshot project, Diamondhead motorcycle. Meanwhile, sources also told PTI that Ola Electric is likely to announce an expansion to its portfolio with entry into the sports scooter segment. In the run-up to its annual 'Sankalp' event, the company on Wednesday dropped a teaser on what looks like a sportier version of its scooter line-up.
