Saba Yemen07-05-2025

Hodeida - Saba:
Minister of Transport , Public Works Mohammed Qaheim and Hodeida Governor Abdullah Attifi inspected on Wednesday the workflow at Hodeida Port's docks and the procedures for receiving cargo ships following the Zionist aggression on the port's vital facilities.
Qaheim and Attifi observed the unloading operations of arriving ships and the workflow at the docks and operational services, including cargo handling, despite the damage inflicted on the infrastructure due to direct Zionist bombardment.
They were briefed by the Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Zaid Al-Washli, and his deputy, Nasr Al-Nusairi, on the measures taken to maintain the port's operational workflow, contain the damage, and carry out emergency maintenance to ensure the continuity of unloading and handling operations.
During the visit, Minister Qaheim praised the efforts of the engineering and technical teams working on rehabilitating the damaged docks, affirming that repair work is progressing rapidly and will be completed in a short period to ensure the uninterrupted flow of goods.
He noted that the movement of ships and vessels is proceeding smoothly, and cargo is being unloaded efficiently, commending the efforts of the port workers who continue their duties to ensure service continuity.
The Minister of Transport stressed that the Zionist enemy's targeting of Yemen's infrastructure and resources reflects its state of failure and bankruptcy, emphasizing that such aggression will not deter the Yemeni people from fulfilling their national duty and steadfastness.
For his part, Hodeidah Governor Attifi stated that the Zionist enemy's targeting of the port constitutes a clear war crime, holding the enemy fully responsible for these attacks on civilian facilities.
He pointed out that the port's continued operations reflect the efficiency of the technical and navigational crews, expressing appreciation for the efforts of all port workers.
Attifi affirmed that the provincial leadership, in coordination with the relevant authorities, will continue supporting and following up on all steps to secure the port's operations, as it is the lifeline for millions of Yemenis.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Corporation confirmed that food supplies and essential goods continue to arrive at Hodeida Port without interruption, noting that there have been no delays in ship arrivals or cargo unloading.
Al-Washli stated that ships are unloading around the clock, and reception and unloading operations remain unaffected, thanks to the high efficiency of the port's technical and navigational personnel.
Earlier, the Transport and Public Works Minister held a meeting with the leadership of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, attended by Hodeida Governor and Deputy Governor Mohammed Halisi, to discuss emergency plans and measures to ensure the smooth entry of ships and cargo handling.

Jordanian Foreign Ministry condemns Zionist Settlers' storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Amman – SABA: The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday condemned the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Zionist settlers, along with the provocative and unacceptable practices that accompanied it, which aim to desecrate the mosque. The ministry described these actions as a blatant violation of international law and the established historical and legal status of Jerusalem and its holy sites. The ministry's spokesperson, Sufyan Al-Qudah, affirmed Jordan's absolute rejection and strong condemnation of the repeated incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremist Zionist settlers. He described the act as a provocative and inciting attempt to impose new facts on the ground by dividing the mosque temporally and spatially. He warned of the grave consequences of these continued violations and desecration attempts, which he said would not be possible without the facilitation and protection of the extremist settlers by the occupying Israeli police. He demanded that 'Israel' immediately cease all irresponsible practices and end them without delay. Al-Qudah stressed that Al-Aqsa Mosque is a place of worship exclusively for Muslims and reaffirmed that the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs' Jerusalem Waqf Department is the sole legal authority responsible for managing the mosque's affairs and regulating access to it. US Military: We faced one of most intense combat operations in history in Red Sea

Sana'a – SABA: The US Navy has acknowledged that the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman experienced one of the most intense combat operations in history while operating in the Red Sea—highlighting the severity of the threat posed by Yemeni attacks during the second wave of American escalation in Yemen. A report by the US Naval Institute (USNI) described the relief and joy among the crews of the Truman and the destroyer USS Stout upon their return from what was described as a grueling combat mission. The report confirmed that three F/A-18 fighter jets were lost during the Truman's recent deployment and that over 1.1 million pounds of munitions were used by US forces over a 50-day campaign against Yemen. After five months of confronting Yemeni forces in the Red Sea, the Stout and Truman concluded what the report called one of the most intense naval operations in decades for the US Navy. Observers interpret the return of the Truman and Stout as a clear sign of the scale of the threat posed by Yemeni armed forces in the Red Sea against US military assets. The intensity of Yemeni attacks reportedly forced the US to seek an agreement to avoid further escalation, fearing a direct strike on the aircraft carrier itself—which would be a humiliating blow to the US military, especially after Yemeni forces posed real threats to advanced F-35 jets and succeeded in downing three F/A-18s. The Yemeni forces also relentlessly pursued US naval assets with continuous missile attacks around the clock. Yemeni revolutionary leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi stated: 'The Americans have destroyed many civilian targets, and there are hundreds of martyrs and wounded among our dear people, but they have not been able to stop the operations, destroy our capabilities, or break our people's will.' He added: 'If the Americans get involved in a third round of aggression, we are fully prepared to confront them.' Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Zionist Deterrence Myth erodes under blows from Yemeni Armed Forces

Beirut – SABA: The Al-Manar news website confirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces, through their recent strikes at the heart of the occupied entity, have imposed a new equation: 'escalation for escalation' and a war of attrition in response to a war of annihilation. In a report on Yemen's stance in support of Gaza, Al-Manar stated that this marks a qualitative shift in the balance of power in the region, where the so-called 'deterrence myth' of the Zionist regime is now a fading image, eroding under the continuous Yemeni attacks. By consistently carrying out high-level military operations targeting the depths of the Zionist entity, the Yemeni Armed Forces have moved beyond symbolic solidarity with Gaza, becoming a decisive factor in the regional deterrence equation, reshaping the contours of confrontation in the region. The report noted that the timing of these strikes, particularly those executed in broad daylight, reveals Yemen's awareness of the psychological impact on the enemy's internal front. This has resulted in partial paralysis of daily life and a noticeable increase in panic within settlements, as seen in the complete evacuation of a sports stadium following a sudden security alert. On the ground, the reality confirms that Sana'a now controls the course of escalation and holds the initiative, implementing a strategy of 'compound attrition' against the enemy. This is evident in Yemen's ability to impose an informal air blockade, disrupt strategic ports, and even threaten specific facilities such as Haifa. The Yemeni position, the report stressed, has gone beyond military calculations to reflect a clear moral and pan-Arab commitment in confronting the ongoing aggression against Gaza. Despite the continuous bombardment targeting infrastructure in and around Sana'a, Yemen's leadership insists on continuing operations as part of its responsibility toward the Palestinian people and their resistance. This approach has strengthened Yemen's political presence in the conflict equation and disrupted the calculations of the occupying entity, which has long relied on Arab and Islamic fragmentation. The report goes further to assert that these Yemeni attacks have supported the Palestinian resistance's negotiation stance, which has rejected ceasefire offers based solely on fulfilling the occupation's conditions. Since the beginning of the war on Gaza, over 70 missiles and more than 300 drones have reportedly been launched from Yemen. This, according to the report, has clearly affected the dynamics of the conflict, altered deterrence formulas, and forced the occupation into a state of constant alert — significantly increasing the political and economic cost of the aggression. In a direct reminder of the failure of the enemy's intelligence and military capabilities — including those of its allies, led by the United States — the report pointed out that the inability of satellites and U.S. defense systems to detect missile and drone paths from Yemen reveals a deep flaw in the enemy's surveillance and deterrence infrastructure. Despite the high cost of operating air defense systems, they have failed to provide 'complete security.' Meanwhile, Yemeni drones now send multifaceted messages that the threat is not limited to Gaza or the northern front — it reaches the strategic heart of the occupying entity. Yemeni attacks have not been confined to the military front. Their effects, the report notes, extend to economic and psychological domains. Economic losses from halted flights, declining tourism, and the disruption of ports and shipping in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean are estimated in the billions of dollars — at a time when the Israeli economy is already declining under the weight of the war on Gaza.
