Inspection of Public Slaughterhouse Readiness for Eid al-Adha in Hodeidah
Hodeidah - SABA: Governor of Hodeidah Abdullah Attifi, accompanied by First Deputy Governor Ahmed Mahdi Al-Bishri, inspected today the readiness of the General Slaughterhouse Corporation branch to provide services to citizens during Eid al-Adha, including slaughtering in accordance with health and technical regulations. During the visit, Attifi and Al-Bishri received a briefing from branch director Abdullah Al-Sharif on technical and administrative preparations, as well as work organization plans to ensure public health and environmental safety. The visitors also inspected the newly activated veterinary laboratory within the slaughterhouse, representing a qualitative leap in the branch's history in terms of completing infrastructure and modernizing health and technical monitoring mechanisms. Attifi and Al-Bishri praised efforts to develop the slaughterhouse's performance, emphasizing the importance of continuous improvements to provide integrated services to citizens and enhance the institution's role in protecting public health during the sacrificial season. Transport Minister, Public Works Minister, & Hodeida Governor inspect work progress at Hodeida port
Hodeida - Saba: Minister of Transport , Public Works Mohammed Qaheim and Hodeida Governor Abdullah Attifi inspected on Wednesday the workflow at Hodeida Port's docks and the procedures for receiving cargo ships following the Zionist aggression on the port's vital facilities. Qaheim and Attifi observed the unloading operations of arriving ships and the workflow at the docks and operational services, including cargo handling, despite the damage inflicted on the infrastructure due to direct Zionist bombardment. They were briefed by the Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Zaid Al-Washli, and his deputy, Nasr Al-Nusairi, on the measures taken to maintain the port's operational workflow, contain the damage, and carry out emergency maintenance to ensure the continuity of unloading and handling operations. During the visit, Minister Qaheim praised the efforts of the engineering and technical teams working on rehabilitating the damaged docks, affirming that repair work is progressing rapidly and will be completed in a short period to ensure the uninterrupted flow of goods. He noted that the movement of ships and vessels is proceeding smoothly, and cargo is being unloaded efficiently, commending the efforts of the port workers who continue their duties to ensure service continuity. The Minister of Transport stressed that the Zionist enemy's targeting of Yemen's infrastructure and resources reflects its state of failure and bankruptcy, emphasizing that such aggression will not deter the Yemeni people from fulfilling their national duty and steadfastness. For his part, Hodeidah Governor Attifi stated that the Zionist enemy's targeting of the port constitutes a clear war crime, holding the enemy fully responsible for these attacks on civilian facilities. He pointed out that the port's continued operations reflect the efficiency of the technical and navigational crews, expressing appreciation for the efforts of all port workers. Attifi affirmed that the provincial leadership, in coordination with the relevant authorities, will continue supporting and following up on all steps to secure the port's operations, as it is the lifeline for millions of Yemenis. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Corporation confirmed that food supplies and essential goods continue to arrive at Hodeida Port without interruption, noting that there have been no delays in ship arrivals or cargo unloading. Al-Washli stated that ships are unloading around the clock, and reception and unloading operations remain unaffected, thanks to the high efficiency of the port's technical and navigational personnel. Earlier, the Transport and Public Works Minister held a meeting with the leadership of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, attended by Hodeida Governor and Deputy Governor Mohammed Halisi, to discuss emergency plans and measures to ensure the smooth entry of ships and cargo handling.
