Camp Bestival 2025 banned items list for the festival
Designed for families, there will be plenty of activities, workshops and games for everyone to be involved with at the East Lulworth site.
Attendees can camp on site or just get day tickets, but whatever you're doing, here are the items you can't take into the festival.
Camp Bestival 2025 banned items list
On the Camp Bestival website, the following items are listed as prohibited:
Glass (of any kind)
Any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon (including penknives)
Personal portable toilets (except potties)
Camping gas canisters above 5KG
Hexi Fuel Tablets/Esbit Heat Tablets
Generators of any kind
Bean bags
Spray Paint cans
Laser equipment or pens
Fireworks/flares
Smoke canisters
Chinese lanterns
Klaxons/airhorns/megaphones (or similar items)
Personal motorised vehicles (with the exception of mobility scooters)
Any animals (with the exception of assistance dogs)
Drones
Large sound systems
Unauthorised or professional photography, film or video equipment
High-visibility bibs and jackets
Poles, banners and flags (small static flag poles in the campsites are allowed)
Illegal substances
Knives with a sharp or pointed blade up to three inches long, such as table knives and paring knives, are allowed in the campsites for use in cooking.
Small camping hammers and mallets are also allowed, but knives are not allowed into any arenas.
Weekend Campers can bring in their own alcohol (for personal consumption), but only up to a "reasonable amount per person".

Camp Bestival adds: "Please note you may be searched on entry to the event site. Any items that may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated.
"No responsibility is given for the return of confiscated items. If you are in possession of illegal substances, you may be arrested."

School 'bangers' performed back where they began

He started his school bangers set while teaching online during Covid lockdown and posted a video for his pupils to sing along to."I put up a video which was my top 10 primary school bangers as a joke for my friends and family and it really kicked off," he lockdown lifted, he held his first sing-along event which he said "snowballed organically and now I am back in Dorset where it all started".
