Grammy Award-winning artist Ed Sheeran has released his brand-new single "A Little More" alongside its official video.
The new song is a part of his upcoming album "Play", set to be released next month.
Underpinned by the blues, "A Little More" holds sharp lyrics and carries a message of self-preservation and moral courage.
Sheeran wrote the song alongside Blake Slatkin, Cirkut, Johnny McDaid and DAVE, whom he worked with on "Nothing On You'.
This track is the follow-up to Sheeran's single "Sapphire", which he worked on with Indian singer Arijit Singh.
The pair released a special version of the track last month, with Sheeran singing a chorus in Hindi and Punjabi and Arijit singing a verse in Hindi and Punjabi and a chorus in English.
The result was a blissful cross-cultural fusion of languages and cultures, adorning the song's celebration of love.
Meanwhile, the official video for "A Little More" features "Harry Potter" star Rupert Grint.
Both Sheeran's and Grint's fanbases have been piecing the puzzle together over the last week following a series of social media clues, including Grint seemingly accessing and posting from Sheeran's social media accounts.

Grint first teamed up with Sheeran in the video for "Lego House" in 2011, where he played the character of an obsessive Sheeran fan.
This comedic visual features multiple outfit changes, with Sheeran playing most of the characters throughout, lifts off from where "Lego House" ended.
"At the start of the video, we see Grint being released from prison. Desperately trying to remedy his unlawful past by living a 'normal' life. He keeps seeing Sheeran at his every turn, which begins to unnerve him," shared an official statement.
"Shaking it off, he eventually meets his future wife (Nathalie Emmanuel), culminating with a traditional wedding. However, as Grint's character pans the church while standing at the altar, he's not only in for a shock when he sees a sea of wedding guests appear as Sheeran, but also when he lifts the veil of his 'bride'."
Sheeran took to Instagram to thank everyone involved, especially his "brother from another mother".
He wrote: "I hadn't worked with @rupertgrint in 14 years since Lego house, so didn't know if he'd say yes to this idea. But I'm so glad he did. It's such a fun, bonkers video. Longest video shoot I had ever done at that time, and deffo the most costume changes.
"Shout out to @emilnava for always bringing my mad ideas to life. And @nathalieemmanuel too for being amazing. Rupert, my brother from another mother, thank you for throwing yourself into this, it wouldn't exist had you said no."
Sheeran's new album, "Play" will be released on September 12.

King Misuzulu decides to move reed dance festival away from Enyokeni palace
King Misuzulu has announced that the annual Reed Dance ceremony is moving from the Enyokeni Palace to Mashobeni Palace. Image: archive Amazulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini's decision to move the annual Reed Dance ceremony from Enyokeni Palace to a new palace, Mashobeni could pit him against the cash-strapped KwaZulu-Natal provincial government. In a surprise move, the king at the weekend announced that this year's event will be held at Mashobeni Palace in Pongola north-east of the province. The palace which is a few kilometres from KwaKhangelamankengana Palace, is owned by the king's new wife, Princess Sihle Mdhluli from Mpumalanga province. The provincial government through the Public Works department has just completed a massive amphitheatre at Enyokeni which cost the taxpayers R140 million and was expected to be used for this year's event. The dome-designed structure was requested by Misuzulu's father, the late King Goodwill Zwelithini for the purpose of the reed dance and has facilities which do not require the hiring of VIP marquees or toilets. The structure has a seating capacity for 2,000 people. The government is expected to bear extra cost of a makeshift pavilion seater at Mashobeni, where maidens and the public gather for the king's address after the presentation of reeds by the maidens. The king said by building the palace there, he was reviving Shaka's palace as well as his legacy. 'I am aware that many are used to this event being held in eNyokeni. Today I wish to announce that the event will now be held here at Mashobeni palace on 12 to 14 September. We are sorry to those who wanted the event to continue taking place at Enyokeni palace. My decision is in line with the fact that Queen Nandi and King Shaka lived here so it's important to revive his palace,' said Misuzulu. In a short statement, KZN Public Works and Infrastructure MEC Martin Meyer said he has noted the announcement made by the king to move the ceremony to Mashobeni royal residence, however, his department is just an implementing agent as per the mandate given on each project by a client department. 'In this matter the client was the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture along with the Office of The Premier. Therefore any queries would be best placed before the offices.' Arts and Culture spokesperson Ntando Mnyando said his department could not say anything further about the decision as its' duty is to organise events wherever the king and royal family want them to be. Attempts to get comment from the Premier's spokesperson Bongani Gina were unsuccessful.

Colombian star Maluma champions children's hearing safety during concert performance
During a concert attended by thousands of fans in Mexico City, Colombian singer Maluma paused his performance to address a mother who brought her one-year-old child without ear protection. Image: Instagram Colombian singer Maluma's weekend show in Mexico City took an unexpected turn when he stopped mid-performance to address a mother in the crowd who had brought her one-year-old child without any ear protection. In a moment captured on video and now widely circulating online, the 'Borro Cassette' hitmaker paused the music and spoke directly to the unidentified woman. He said, 'Ma'am, I'm going to tell you something. Don't bring him here; leave him there. With all due respect, I'm already a father. What's he? A year old?' The Grammy-nominated artist went on to question the decision. 'Do you think it's a good idea to bring a one-year-old baby to a concert where the decibels are really loud, where the sound is really loud?' he asked, pointing out that the child 'doesn't even know what he's doing here'. Next Stay Close ✕ Maluma urged the mom to think about the child's well-being at future events. 'Next time, protect his ears or something. That's really irresponsible, and you were waving the baby around like he was a toy. 'That kid really doesn't want to be there,' he said, adding that as a father himself, he 'would never' bring his own child to such an environment. 'So next time, be a little more aware.' Maluma stops his concert in Mexico City to scold a mother who brought her 1-year-old baby without ear protection: 'That is an act of irresponsibility. And you're swinging him around as if he were a toy. That child doesn't want to be there.' — Pop Crave (@PopCrave) August 10, 2025 Hearing safety at concerts has become an increasing point of discussion in recent years, with some adult concertgoers choosing to wear noise-cancelling devices such as AirPods Pro 2, often set to transparency mode, to reduce the impact of high-volume sound systems. If adults take such precautions for their ear health, it is even more important for children's hearing to be protected, as their hearing is still developing, making them more vulnerable to damage. Health organisations warn that a child's hearing is especially sensitive, and prolonged exposure to loud noise at events such as concerts or professional sports games can cause irreversible harm. Parents are encouraged to know the warning signs of noise-induced hearing loss and take preventive measures to safeguard both their own hearing and that of their children.

Anthony Hamilton, Joe Thomas and Zonke light up Women's Day concert at Wanderers Stadium, despite technical glitches
Despite frustrating sound and logistical issues, Anthony Hamilton, Joe Thomas, Zonke, Vusi Nova and Sjava gave fans a night to remember. The Women's Day Concert at Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, brought together international soul legends and top South African artists for an unforgettable music celebration, including Anthony Hamilton, Joe Thomas and Zonke, who lit up the event despite technical glitches. Anthony Hamilton brings love and soul to Johannesburg Just like he'd promised, Grammy Award-winning American soul singer Anthony Hamilton showed up and showed out, giving his South African fans the very best. Performing hits like Charlene and Best of Me, Hamilton delivered emotional, crowd-favourite ballads while showing heartfelt appreciation for Mzansi music lovers who've supported him over the years. Dressed sharply in red, R&B superstar Joe Thomas brought romance to the Johannesburg Women's Day concert, singing live soulful ballads that had the packed stadium of women singing along joyfully. Even when technical issues interrupted his set, Joe returned with a powerful, intimate performance that reminded fans why he remains a legend in 90s and 2000s R&B, proving his prowess despite the glitches. Zonke captivates with 'Feelings' and high energy Zonke Dikana performs at Wanderers Stadium on 9 August 2025 in Johannesburg. Picture via Gallo Images/Oupa Bopape. South African songstress Zonke Dikana was a massive hit, performing her signature songs and delivering a moving rendition of Feelings, a track that always tugs at the heartstrings. Her energy-filled performance proved why she's one of South Africa's top live performers, even though poor sound caused her mic to cut out during key moments, echoing the overall theme of overcoming technical problems on this Women's Day. Sjava adds rich melodic layers Award-winning artist Sjava brought his rich, soulful melodies to the stage, adding depth and texture to the evening's lineup. Unfortunately, ongoing mic failures and sound problems meant parts of his set were missed by sections of the crowd, highlighting the technical glitches that plagued the event. ALSO READ: PICS: How 'besties' interpreted DJ Zinhle's Zee Nation festival themes Sound and logistics fail to match the talent The repeated technical failures left many questioning whether there was a proper sound check before the concert. For an event of this magnitude, audiences expect seamless production. Poor technical support not only frustrates fans but also undermines the professionalism of artists who rehearse extensively for live shows. Regarding sound quality, Richard Mpofu, a representative from Gearhouse, stated, 'We take great pride in delivering exceptional sound, but sometimes unforeseen technical issues may arise. 'That's why we stress the importance of conducting planned soundchecks with all artists; these checks are crucial for achieving the best sound from the very first note. We are pleased with how swiftly our team, along with the international engineers, addressed the challenges, ultimately ensuring the sound met the high expectations of the audience.' Security and entry problems add to the frustration Aside from the sound glitches, logistics at the Wanderers Stadium were lacking. Security appeared disorganised, ticket scanners malfunctioned, and entry tags ran out, creating bottlenecks at the gates. In the end, the professionalism of Anthony Hamilton, Joe Thomas, Zonke, and Sjava salvaged the event. Each gave their best, proving why they are icons in R&B and soul music. Hopefully, future Women's Day concerts will match this talent with flawless event execution.
