
Three friends killed in Nawada road accident
The victims were identified as Raju Kumar (20) and Amit Kumar (19), natives of Shanti Nagar in Pakribarawan, and Vikas Kumar (19) of Shumbhaka village in Sheikhpura district. While Raju and Amit died on the spot, Vikas, who was critically injured, succumbed to his injuries at the Sadar Hospital, Nawada.
"Upon receiving information about the accident, police immediately reached the spot. The victims were identified around midnight, after which their families were informed.
The bodies were sent to the Sadar Hospital, Nawada, for an autopsy, and later they were handed over to their respective families," said SHO of Pakribarawan police station, Sneha Kumari.
The SHO further said Raju was the eldest son of one Dasrath Mistri, while Amit was the only son in the family. Vikas was also the eldest among his siblings. The incident has left all the three families devastated.
"The driver of the sand-laden truck fled after the accident. CCTV cameras are being scanned to identify the truck and its driver," added the SHO.

Ambergris worth ₹2 crore seized in Ahmedabad; one held
