Indian Cybersecurity Agencies Successfully Block Multiple Pakistan-Sponsored Hacking Attempts
Pakistani hacker groups launched several unsuccessful attempts to breach Indian websites on Thursday, continuing a pattern of cyber offensives that were quickly detected and neutralized by Indian cybersecurity agencies.
Among the targets were Army Public School websites in Jammu, which hacker groups including 'Cyber Group HOAX1337' and 'National Cyber Crew' attempted to deface with messages mocking recent terror attack victims. Additional targets included healthcare services for ex-servicemen, the Army Institute of Hotel Management, and Indian Air Force veterans' websites.
According to officials, Pakistani hackers have consistently targeted websites connected to vulnerable populations including children, elderly veterans, and civilians. The Maharashtra Cyber Department reported over one million cyberattacks on Indian systems from multiple countries including Pakistan following recent events.
Security analysts view these digital offensives as components of Pakistan's hybrid warfare strategy against India, which traditionally combines terrorism with information warfare. A senior police official noted that besides Pakistan, attacks have originated from the Middle East, Indonesia, and Morocco, with many hacker groups claiming allegiance to Islamist ideologies, potentially indicating a coordinated cyber warfare campaign.

State pushed back 330 illegal foreigners: CM
1 2 3 Guwahati: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday informed a one-day special sitting of the legislative assembly that about 330 illegal foreigners have been pushed back from the state so far and govt is waiting for floods to recede to send back another 35 individuals. "Of the 330 people we have pushed back, none of them have returned. It is impossible for them to return now," he added. He said the process of evicting illegal foreigners from Assam will now be intensified and expedited. "As Pakistani elements and fundamentalist elements from Bangladesh have entered Assam, we have to be proactive like never before to protect the state from these elements," Sarma added. He said this is also the reason why state govt has decided to revive Immigration (Expulsion from Assam) act of 1950 and enforce it. "Under this law, a deputy commissioner can push back whoever he finds to be an illegal foreigner without referring them to the Foreigners' Tribunals," he added. He reiterated that those having appeals in courts will not be touched. Sarma said a constitutional bench of the Supreme Court recently ruled that the IEA Act is in force and the state govt can proceed under its provisions.

Probe launched against Tripura Cong leader for ‘defaming' CM
Agartala: Police on Monday launched a search against Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) spokesperson Md Sahajan Islam for alleged defaming narratives and expressions against chief minister Manik Saha on Sunday night in a Facebook live. The officer-in-charge of East Agartala police station, Rana Chatterjee, said Sahajan's deliberation has triggered political unrest and hurt the communal sentiment of the people. He had made derogatory comments on the professional and personal life of the CM that is completely illegal. "Indian law doesn't permit the citizen to make a personal attack on the head of a state," Chatterjee said, adding that a specific case has been registered against Islam, who is absconding, based on a complaint and police have also launched an investigation. He allegedly made several posts on social media in communal lines alleging that saffron cadres obstructed the celebration of Bakri Eid in several locations of the state, and in a few places, they stopped the transportation of cows.
