Morgan Wallen Dominates Apple Music Charts
Morgan Wallen is one of the biggest stars in country music right now, but based on a rather shocking announcement on Monday morning, it's clear that he is also the top artist on the planet right now in any genre – at least in terms of streaming popularity.
Every day, Apple Music updates its "Top 100: Global" playlist, which ranks the most popular songs on the streaming service.
"The most popular songs around the world, updated every day," Apple says in the playlist's description.
On Sunday, Morgan Wallen thoroughly took over the chart. As Pop Crave announced on social media on Monday, Wallen's songs occupied 35 of the top 50 slots on the playlist.
This came shortly after the country music superstar released his new album "I'm The Problem" on Friday, May 19. Clearly, the album was an instant success with nearly every song from the album topping the Apple Music charts.
In addition to having 35 songs in the top 50, Wallen also had the five most popular songs in the world. His collaboration With Tate McRae, "What I Want," topped the list with "Just in Case," "Superman," "I Got Better," and "I'm the Problem" all following, all of which are from his latest album.
Needless to say, it's shocking for one artist to have such massive success after an album release, and the news certainly turned heads on social media.
"Funny how it's been progressively going up, and the album dropped 70 hours ago," one fan wrote in a post on X.
"Dude will be in the country music hall of fame when his career is over," someone else added.
"That's absurd," another person wrote.
"Country fans eating good," someone else commented.
"When consistency meets fan love, records fall!," another person wrote.
Clearly, Wallen's new album has been an enormous success.

TikTok launches 'TikTok for Artists,' a new music insights platform
TikTok announced on Tuesday that it's officially launching TikTok for Artists, a new music insights platform that is designed to help artists build their careers. The official launch comes two months after TikTok was spotted testing the platform in select countries. The tool is built to help artists and their teams better connect with fans, improve their promotional efforts, and inform content creation on TikTok. The platform gives artists, their labels, and their teams access to data about the performance of the artist's music and posts and TikTok. These metrics include the number of views, posts, and creator engagements per song, along with similar insights into post performance. Other insights include information about an artist's followers, such as their age, language, and gender. TikTok for Artists also includes step-by-step guides to TikTok's tools and features, and additional support and resources, the company says. In addition, TikTok announced that it's launching a new "Pre-Release" tool that allows artists to promote upcoming album releases on TikTok. The feature lets fans pre-save albums directly to their Spotify or Apple Music library, where they will become instantly available to listen to upon release. TikTok plays a big part in driving music trends and viral songs, so it makes sense for the company to introduce a dedicated space to help artists better promote their content and drive fan engagement. TikTok for Artists could help artists expand their reach and grow their audience. It's worth noting that the launch of TikTok for Artists comes eight months after ByteDance decided to shut down TikTok Music, a music-streaming service that was being tested in a handful of countries. At the time, the company said it decided to retire the service in order to 'focus on our goal of furthering TikTok's role in driving even greater music listening and value on music streaming services.' The events of the past year show that TikTok is no longer trying to compete with services like Spotify and Apple Music, and is instead going to focus on being a platform for music discovery and promotion. TikTok for Artists is now available in Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina. The platform will be rolling out in other countries soon, TikTok says.

Ted Lasso Season 4: Release date speculation, cast and plot details – Everything we know so far
By Aman Shukla Published on June 3, 2025, 19:15 IST Last updated June 3, 2025, 16:44 IST The beloved Apple TV+ comedy series Ted Lasso is officially returning for a fourth season, reigniting excitement among fans worldwide. After a seemingly conclusive Season 3 finale in May 2023, where Ted returned to Kansas to be with his son, the announcement of Season 4 has sparked curiosity about release dates, returning cast members, and potential plotlines. Here's everything we know so far about Ted Lasso Season 4. Ted Lasso Season 4 Potential Release Date As of June 3, 2025, Apple TV+ has not announced an official release date for Ted Lasso Season 4. However, production is reportedly set to begin in July 2025, with filming taking place in Kansas City and the UK. Given the timeline of previous seasons—Season 3 began filming in March 2022 and premiered in March 2023—a similar pattern suggests a potential release in late 2025 or early 2026. Ted Lasso Season 4 Expected Cast The heart of Ted Lasso lies in its ensemble cast, and several key players are expected to return for Season 4. Here's the latest on the cast: Confirmed Returning Cast Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso : The optimistic coach is back, with Sudeikis reprising his Emmy-winning role and serving as an executive producer and co-writer. Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton : The AFC Richmond owner is likely to return, with Apple securing options for Waddingham, per reports from August 2024. Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent : Goldstein is confirmed to return as a writer and executive producer, strongly suggesting he'll reprise his role as the gruff yet lovable coach. Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins : Options have been picked up for Swift, hinting at the return of AFC Richmond's supportive director of football operations. Juno Temple as Keeley Jones: Temple is in talks to return, potentially continuing her journey as a PR maven and key figure in AFC Richmond's orbit. Ted Lasso Season 4 Potential Plot While specific plot details remain scarce, hints from cast and creators offer clues about Season 4's direction: Ted Coaching a Women's Team: Jason Sudeikis revealed on the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce that Ted will coach a women's soccer team. Nick Mohammed echoed this on the Chris Moyles Show, confirming Ted's return to Richmond to lead the AFC Richmond Women's Team, a concept teased by Keeley's proposal in the Season 3 finale. AFC Richmond's Journey: With Ted back in the U.S. at the end of Season 3, Season 4 may split focus between Kansas and the UK. AFC Richmond qualified for the Champions League, a prestigious tournament mentioned in Season 3, Episode 12. This could see Roy, Nate, and Beard leading the men's team to European glory. Loose Ends: Keeley's PR firm and her unresolved love triangle with Roy and Jamie, Rebecca's leadership of AFC Richmond, and Nate's return to the fold as an assistant coach or kit man offer rich subplots for Season 4. 'Slow Horses' season 5 release date just confirmed — here's when it returns to Apple TV Plus
"Slow Horses" season 5 just got its Apple TV Plus release date. TVLine is reporting that season 5 will premiere on Apple's streaming service on Wednesday, Sept. 24, with a two-episode premiere. Now, it's important to note that this is not an official announcement from Apple. But TVLine is considered a reputable outlet, and we have no reason to suspect that their reporting on this release date is inaccurate. Especially since I already had some suspicions that season 5 would arrive in September. When Apple revealed its slate of Apple TV Plus Summer 2025 shows and movies, Slow Horses made an appearance in the YouTube teaser trailer. Given that, outside of season 1, "Slow Horses" has always debuted in or just outside of the fall season, I assumed that a summer 2025 release window implied an early September release date, given summer doesn't end until September 21 this year. I was close! Last year, season 4 debuted on September 4, 2024, which was still technically in the summer. So with that reference point, I guessed that season 5 would come on Wednesday, September 3. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. I got the Wednesday part right and the September part right. I was just a few weeks early on the exact date. Season 5 of "Slow Horses" is an adaptation of "London Rules," Mick Herron's fifth novel in the "Slough House" series. It's the direct sequel to "Spook Street," which was the basis for "Slow Horses" season 4. Apple's official synopsis reads: "In season 5 of 'Slow Horses,' everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend, but when a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected. After all, Jackson Lamb knows that in the world of espionage, 'London Rules' should always apply." Based on that synopsis and the season 5 teaser trailer above, we know Ho and Lamb will be in the spotlight in season 5. And the last thing you want when you're a spy is to be in the spotlight. Malcolm has been with Tom's Guide since 2022, and has been covering the latest in streaming shows and movies since 2023. He's not one to shy away from a hot take, including that "John Wick" is one of the four greatest films ever made. Here's what he's been watching lately:
