Addison Rae Unveils Her Debut Album Track List Using a Rack of Undies
When Addison Rae revealed the release date of her debut album, Addison, she did so by showing the back of her underwear during Arca's set at Coachella. Now, the pop star is continuing the undies-themed rollout by unveiling her tracklist on a rack of panties. The short clip captures Rae as she goes through a rack of black underwear with the names of her 12 songs written on them. She pauses to display the names of Track 9, 'Fame Is a Gun,' and Track 12, 'Life's No Fun Through Clear Waters.' In her caption, Rae reminded fans of her June 6 release date, and shared emojis that seemingly represent each of the songs on the record. Earlier this year, Rae played several songs for Rolling Stone ahead of her cover story. The songs were described as 'hypnotic, trance-like pop songs, pulsating and lush' that will make people want to dance. 'The lyrics are threaded with images of a life that's young, fun, and free: being naked on a beach, flying to Paris on a whim, being drunk at a bar,' the review read. 'There's no ego or self-seriousness; as we hear her exclaim 'I'm the richest girl in the world!' toward the end of one track.' The track list reveal comes about a month after she shared the Y2K-esque album cover for the record, which she described as a 'dream.' At the time, she wrote, 'I love the entirety of this project with all of me. A mirror. A deep desperation and desire to understand myself better. A true collection of my proudest work yet.' Rae also teased about having 'dream collaborators' on the LP, although she did not reveal who. The musician also shared that all the tracks are co-written and produced by Rae, Luka Kloser, and Elvira Anderfjärd. Track List 1. 'New York'2. 'Diet Pepsi'3. 'Money is Everything' 4. 'Aquamarine' 5. Rihanna Misses The Hot 100 For The First Time In Almost A Decade
Rihanna's 'Friend of Mine' debuts at No. 1 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 and three dance charts, ... More marking her first miss on the Hot 100 in nearly a decade. LONDON, ENGLAND - JULY 24: Rihanna attends the "Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets" European Premiere at Cineworld Leicester Square on July 24, 2017 in London, England. (Photo by Tim P. Whitby/Getty Images) Rihanna has a stellar track record when it comes to sending her singles to the Hot 100. She rarely misses Billboard's list of the most consumed songs in the United States whenever she puts her promotional might behind a tune. That has proved especially true in recent years, as the pop and R&B superstar has delivered only a handful of tracks, and the appetite for music from the Grammy winner remains massive. Sadly, though, her latest release "Friend of Mine" misses out on the chart, though it appears on a number of other tallies. "Friend of Mine" debuts on eight Billboard charts this week in the U.S. The Hot 100, however, is not listed among them — though the song came close to reaching that roster. Instead, Rihanna's latest track opens at No. 1 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100. That tally ranks the most popular songs in the country that haven't quite made it to the main list, and it still means she claims one of the biggest compositions in the country. Even though there was intense anticipation for her electronic cut, Rihanna chose an especially busy week to try to reach the Hot 100. Morgan Wallen dominates the tally at the moment with tracks from his new No. 1 album, I'm the Problem. He breaks the all-time record for the greatest number of simultaneous placements on the list, racking up 37 smashes at one time. Rihanna hasn't missed the Hot 100 with a proper single for almost a decade. The last time she pushed a tune that failed to crack the lofty ranking was in 2016 with the song "Sledgehammer." That track was written and recorded for the film Star Trek Beyond, and it peaked at No. 2 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100. Since then, Rihanna has not even failed to appear break into the top 40 with any of her promotional cuts. Tunes like "Love on the Brain," "Lemon" with N.E.R.D., "Believe It" with PartyNextDoor, and her Black Panther: Wakanda Forever smash "Lift Me Up" all spent time inside that competitive space. "Friend of Mine," which was created for the upcoming animated Smurfs movie, could potentially reach the Hot 100 in the coming weeks. Although typically, songs launch in what becomes their all-time peak these days, this track is just getting started on a number of other tallies. It manages to enter the top 10 on three lists: Dance Digital Song Sales, Dance Streaming Songs, and Hot Dance/Electronic Songs charts, and lands on several format-specific radio rosters as well.

Tate McRae Debuts At No. 1 On Charts She Likely Never Expected To Reach
Tate McRae scores her first Hot 100 No. 1 with 'What I Want,' a duet with Morgan Wallen that also ... More debuts atop several country charts. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - JULY 11: Tate McRae performs at The Greek Theatre on July 11, 2024 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by) Tate McRae has spent nearly a decade working toward becoming one of the biggest pop stars in the world. With a string of hit singles and her first No. 1 album in 2025 alone, it's clear she's made her mark. Now she's managed to check another important box in her mission to rise to the top: her first champion on the Hot 100. McRae earns her inaugural leader on the most important songs list in America thanks to an unlikely collaboration with Morgan Wallen. Their joint country-pop effort not only debuts at No. 1 on the Hot 100, but also brings McRae to several Billboard rankings she likely never expected to reach. "What I Want" pairs McRae with Wallen and serves as the latest single from his brand new album, I'm the Problem. The full-length debuts at No. 1 across various tallies, including the Billboard 200, where it earns the biggest debut of the year. "What I Want" conquers the Hot 100, giving McRae her first-ever chart-topper in the U.S. That alone is reason to celebrate, but it's not the only tally where the duet leads the charge. "What I Want" also opens at No. 1 on two of the four weekly Billboard charts focused on country music. The collaboration easily leads both the Hot Country Songs and Country Streaming Songs lists. Simultaneously, the cut also launches atop the all-genre Streaming Songs ranking. McRae and Wallen's "What I Want" also starts inside the top 10 on the Country Digital Song Sales chart, establishing itself not just as a top streamer, but also one of the bestselling cuts in America this frame. The tune is being pushed to a variety of radio formats and appears on both the Pop Airplay and Country Airplay tallies. The track earns McRae her first placement on the Country Airplay list, debuting at No. 55, but several of her own tunes have performed well at pop radio in the past. McRae has previously reached charts like the Hot 100 and Streaming Songs list, but "What I Want" marks her first win in the country space. Impressively, she hits No. 1 on most of the country lists, and reaches the top 10 on her first try on all but one ranking in that style. It takes many musicians years to soar to those spaces – but teaming up with Wallen certainly helps. McRae is also back on two of Billboard's three pop radio lists, as "What I Want" opens on both the Adult Pop Airplay and Pop Airplay tallies. The collaboration starts at No. 32 and No. 38, respectively. It has yet to appear on the Adult Contemporary roster, though that list typically moves at a slower pace, so it could debut there in the coming weeks.

Kendrick Lamar Proves That No One Can Do It Like He Can — Again
Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "Luther" ties the rapper's own Billboard record with 22 weeks at No. 1 on ... More the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 13: Kendrick Lamar performs in the Pepsi Halftime Show during the NFL Super Bowl LVI football game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on February 13, 2022 in Inglewood, California. (Photo by) After a 13-week reign on the Hot 100, 'Luther,' the collaboration between Kendrick Lamar and SZA, has been replaced in the top spot by Morgan Wallen and Tate McRae. Their joint effort, 'What I Want,' debuts at No. 1, earning the country star another champion and McRae her first. While 'Luther' may have fallen from the summit of the Hot 100, it's still commanding on several other Billboard rankings. The track continues to hold at No. 1 on some of the company's genre-specific tallies, and as it leads one roster, Lamar makes history once again, becoming the only artist to achieve a rare feat – again, that is. 'Luther' is once again in charge of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, where the duet has now ruled for 22 weeks. As it keeps in first place, the tune ties the all-time record for the most time spent at No. 1 on that ranking. Lamar's SZA collaboration matches a best showing that was first set just a few months ago. Now, 'Luther' is on the same level as Lamar's 'Not Like Us,' as both are tied as the longest-running No. 1s in the history of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs tally. Lamar had already been in a league of his own thanks to his Drake diss track, which won both Record and Song of the Year at the Grammys and ruled this list for 22 frames, ending its stay at the top earlier in 2025. Now, he's matched his own best performance. There's a strong chance 'Luther' will continue to reign, potentially earning a twenty-third stay at the summit when Billboard updates its rankings again in just a few days. Just last week, 'Luther' was tied with 'Kill Bill' by SZA as the second-longest-running leader ever on this roster. Now that it has matched 'Not Like Us,' 'Kill Bill' shifts into third place on the all-time list. That movement means SZA is now responsible for two of the three sturdiest champions in the chart's history. 'Luther' is still a massive hit across the Billboard charts, and it lives inside the top 10 on many rosters. In addition to the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs tally, the Lamar-led track also rules the Hot Rap Songs chart for a twenty-second week. It's only the second team-up to reach that milestone — and it still has a month to go before potentially matching the 26-week record held by 'Not Like Us,' which controlled the roster for exactly half a year.
