Jaylen Brown Has Arthroscopic Knee Surgery

Yahoo4 hours ago

ESPN is reporting that Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Wednesday morning. The surgery was described as 'minimally invasive', and it is expected that he will be available to fully participate in training camp.
ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reported in April that Brown had received pain injections for the knee starting in March, and she later reported in May that he finished the season with a partially torn right meniscus.

Brown averaged 22.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists during the 2024-25 regular season. Playing through the injury in the playoffs he had 22.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.
Browns recovery is of increased importance due to the Achilles tendon rupture sustained by teammate Jayson Tatum. Tatum's injury is expected to keep him out of the Celtics' lineup for at least most of the 2025-26 season.

Travelers Championship 2025 prize money payouts for each player at TPC River Highlands

Keegan Bradley rules the northeast once again. This year's U.S. Ryder Cup Captain won the 2025 Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut on Sunday. Bradley made birdie on the 72nd and final hole while Tommy Fleetwood, who held the lead all day, made bogey — a most costly of two-shot swings for the Englishman, who will have to wait another day for his first victory on the PGA Tour. Advertisement The Travelers was the Tour's final signature event of the season, meaning there was lots of cash up for grabs. Here's how much prize money each player is taking home after Sunday's action in New England. Buccaneers have unique placement in Madden 26 beta team ratings

Every year, gamers and actual football players alike get excited about the release of the annual Madden football game. Like every video game, a beta version is always released to work out the bugs within it, as well as to see what works and what doesn't in terms of ideas. Within that, it also allows for previews of the game itself to happen, and one of those things includes the overall ratings of the teams within the game. Advertisement While we do not yet see the ratings of players, we do see the team overalls, and they are something to behold. The Bucs' overall rating is 84, which ranks them 13th, tied with their division rival, the Atlanta Falcons. Other NFC South team ratings include the Panthers' 79, which ranks them 29th, and the Saints' 83, which is good enough for 17th. There are some questionable teams ranked ahead of the Bucs, such as the Browns, Jets, Steelers, and Dolphins. Bucs fans will have to wait for revenge for when the full game releases later this year. Improved of late, the Orioles still face an uphill climb to avoid a lost season

A year ago the Baltimore Orioles looked like a dynasty in the making. Since then, they've been thoroughly mediocre, and even an improved stretch recently hasn't helped their outlook much for 2025. After losing two of three to the Yankees in New York, the Orioles are 11 games under .500. They've gone 17-10 over their last 27, so perhaps the worst is over, but over the last 162 regular-season games, Baltimore is 75-87. It's a remarkable decline for a team that won 101 games in 2023, started 49-25 last year and had a core of standouts that was young and cost controlled.
