Molly-Mae Hague 'signs up for HUGE Channel 4 show' as she returns to reality TV for the first time since Love Island

Daily Mail2 days ago

Molly-Mae Hague will reportedly 'star in a huge Channel 4 show' as she is set to make a come back to reality TV for the first time since Love Island.
The influencer, 26, who shocked the nation last year with news of her short-lasting split from Tommy Fury, is set to appear on the next celebrity version of the Great British Bake Off, according to the Sun.
She is set to be one of the biggest stars to appear on the upcoming Stand up to Cancer spin-off of the cookery contest.
The show is believed to be filming now and will air next year.
A source told the publication: 'She will be a great addition to the line-up and bring a healthy helping of Love island glamour to the tent.
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
'Molly's now one of Britain's biggest TV stars and has seen her fame steadily grow since she first appeared on the ITV dating show back in 2019.'
MailOnline has contacted Molly's representatives and Channel 4 for comment.
She has been placed firmly in the spotlight since her break-up last year with Tommy Fury, which was chronicled in her Prime Video documentary, Molly-Mae: Behind it All.'
Molly and Tommy fell for each other in front of the nation during series five of Love Island, going on to welcome Bambi and then get engaged in 2023.
But fans were shocked when Molly announced on Instagram last August that she and Tommy had split up after five years, with many suspecting he had been unfaithful.
In a statement posted to her 8.5million Instagram followers, she confirmed the breakup, saying: 'I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.'
Tommy denied continued speculation about him cheating during a magazine interview, insisting any reports about him being with other women were 'complete and utter b*****ks.'
The boxer, who's the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, said the reason he and Molly ended their romance was down to his excessive drinking.
He said: 'People go through different things in life. I'm 25 years old. I went through a lot and my breakup was in front of the whole world...
'Cheating was never a thing. You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink, and the drink is not a good thing.'
The pair's split was branded a 'publicity stunt' by fans after they were filmed packing on the PDA at Manchester United footballer Luke Shaw 's Hogmanay party in Cheshire.
Molly has since denied these accusations and claimed it would have been easier if the 'painful' accusations were true.
And in May, Molly began taking to her Instagram Stories to re-introduce his presence more regularly on her social media account.
In the picture, Tommy could be seen sharing a kiss with Molly and their toddler, Bambi, while they enjoyed ice lollies in the sunshine.
The post comes after she revealed what really happened when they were spotted sharing a kiss as the clock struck midnight and 2025 began in the final installment of her Amazon Prime docuseries.
After receiving a call from her manager Fran Britton to inform her of the video, Molly was left shaking as she exclaimed 'No, oh my God,' after watching the footage.
The influencer explained: 'Basically, what's happened is I've attended a New Year's Eve party and a familiar someone showed up 10 minutes before the countdown and that was Tommy.
'Basically we shared a kiss at midnight and it would appear that someone has taken a video and sold it to the press.'
She continued: 'It was just a moment that we shared and I can't really explain it, it kind of just happened.
'You think you're having a private, intimate moment and nothing is private even in a room of people you think you trust and you know, people like to make a quick buck.'
Molly added: 'I'd love to know how much they did make, hope it was worth it. But karma always comes back around don't you think?'
Watching the clip she exclaimed: 'Sh**e. Ahhh no. No my God what? I'm literally shaking.'
As Fran asked her to explain what happened, Molly swore that the boxer wasn't supposed to at the party and showed up unexpectedly.
She said: 'He turned up at 10 to 12. I swear he wasn't meant to be there.
'He messaged me saying 'I am outside and I want to see in the New Year with you, I kid you not Fran he was there for eight minutes. He was literally not there. He wasn't there all night.'
Since the kiss, Tommy has been seen leaving her Cheshire home and after sharing a family holiday in Dubai, Molly confirmed on her YouTube channel that the pair are 'figuring things out'.

Boisson lights up French Open, Sinner advances to semis

PARIS, June 4 (Reuters) - Wildcard Lois Boisson lit up the French Open on Wednesday when the home hope toppled sixth-seeded Russian Mirra Andreeva in straight sets to reach the last four, overshadowing men's world number one Jannik Sinner who cruised past Alexander Bublik. While Sinner stretched his Grand Slam winning streak to 19 matches after earning back-to-back titles at the U.S. Open last year and the Australian Open in January, Boisson, ranked 361st at the start of the tournament, thrilled the home crowd with a dazzling performance. Sinner will face the winner between three-time French Open champion Novak Djokovic, hunting a record-breaking 25th singles Grand Slam, and Germany's third seed Alexander Zverev in the last four. Sinner, who beat Bublik in straight sets, is the first Italian man to reach six Grand Slam semi-finals. The 23-year-old, who served a three-month doping ban before returning to action in Rome last month, raced through the first set after twice breaking the Kazakh, who had stunned fifth seed Jack Draper in the previous round. Looking to become the first man representing Kazakhstan to defeat a world number one, Bublik, who hit 37 drop shots against Draper, pulled out this weapon again in the second set. But Sinner broke and held to take it. Ever the entertainer, the 27-year-old Bublik delighted the crowd with an underarm serve but ultimately could do nothing to stop the Italian's march into the last four. Earlier Boisson became the toast of France after staging the tournament's biggest upset with a 7-6(6) 6-3 win over Andreeva, who had been tipped as a title contender, in an electrifying match that had the home crowd on the edge of their seats. The 22-year-old had stunned third seed Jessica Pegula in round four, but on Wednesday pulled off another major shock, beating Andreeva, who had not lost a set in the tournament. "Every tennis player dreams of winning a Slam - and for a French player, Roland Garros even more so. I'll go for it because my dream is to win the final, not the semi-final,' Boisson said. Andreeva, the 18-year-old sixth seed who was bidding to become the youngest female player to reach back-to-back French Open semi-finals in nearly three decades, quickly found herself chasing Boisson's fierce forehand. The underdog, who has been a breath of fresh air in the tournament with her no-nonsense power game and down-to-earth approach, looked to have run out of steam as Andreeva went 3-0 up but she proceeded to win the next six consecutive games. Andreeva repeatedly lost her temper and was handed a warning when she fired a ball into the stands in frustration. With the home crowd the loudest it had been since the start, chants of 'Lois, Lois' echoed across the Philippe Chatrier court, with the decibel level lifted even further because the roof was closed due to rain. Boisson, who will jump almost 300 places in the rankings next week, will face 2023 U.S. Open champion Coco Gauff, who came out on top in an error-ridden quarter-final against Australian Open champion Madison Keys with the pair littering the court with 101 unforced errors. With a total of 49 unforced errors in the first set alone they both struggled to hold serve and Gauff, a semi-finalist in Paris last year, wasted a set point before Keys, who reached the French Open last four in 2018, edged ahead with a tiebreak win. Gauff, who reached the final here in 2022 and is the youngest woman to claim 25 main-draw wins at Roland Garros since Martina Hingis (1995-2000), bounced back to win the next two sets. "So many unforced errors," Gauff, who also had 10 double faults, said to herself after sinking another easy baseline shot into the net. "I was just trying to be aggressive," the 21-year-old Gauff said. "Usually if you're playing too passive, in the end the more aggressive player is going to win. I knew in the second and the third that I had to try my best."

Large majority of Germans want tighter controls on arms exports to Israel

BERLIN, June 4 (Reuters) - Some 73% of Germans want tighter controls on arms exports to Israel, including 30% who favour a total ban, a poll showed on Wednesday, reflecting growing public unease over the government's Israel policy. Since Hamas' October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, Germany has remained one of Israel's staunchest allies and its second largest arms supplier, despite Israel's increasing international isolation and rising criticism over its devastating war in Gaza. Between Hamas' attack and mid-May this year, Germany approved military equipment exports to Israel worth 485 million euros ($553.72 million), according to a response to a parliamentary inquiry published on Tuesday. The deliveries included firearms, ammunition, weapons parts, special equipment for the army and navy, electronic equipment, and special armoured vehicles. No lawsuit challenging German arms exports to Israel has yet succeeded, including a case brought by Nicaragua at the International Court of Justice. But Germany's stance shifted last week when new Chancellor Friedrich Merz criticised Israel's intensified airstrikes in Gaza, calling them no longer justified or comprehensible. His foreign minister, Johann Wadephul, warned of possible consequences - hinting at steps towards arms export sanctions. Three out of four Germans back Merz's criticism of Israeli actions in Gaza, according to a poll by public broadcaster ARD. The survey, conducted among 1,292 respondents on June 2-3, also found that 55% reject the idea that Germany bears a special responsibility to protect Israel due to the legacy of the Nazi-era Holocaust of European Jews. Thirteen percent of those surveyed believe Germany should stand unconditionally with Israel in the Middle East conflict, while 74% opposed such a stance. Additionally, 63% said Israel's military response in Gaza has gone too far, an increase of six percentage points since August, while 73% consider Israeli military actions unjustified. It boasts an impressive alumni, including father-and-daughter duo Danny and Dani Dyer; married reality stars Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash; Spice Girls icon Mel B and her daughter Phoenix Chi – to name just a few. The seventh season is welcoming a fresh new cohort of stars to gain their Gogglebox stripes with everyone from comedy legends to pop icons. As the full line-up is slowly revealed, there are even exciting rumours of exactly who will complete the cast such as Alison Hammond and her son Aiden who have already done a travel show together. So, without further ado, here's who to expect cropping up on your screen every Friday night. The Inbetweeners star James Buckley has delighted fans after confirming he and his wife Clair will appear on the show this year. The 37-year-old actor, best known for portraying Jay Cartwright in the hit 00s sitcom, took to social media to share the exciting news. 'Hi guys, how's it going? We are joining the Gogglebox family. We're going to be watching some great TV and some not so great TV. And you'll be able to join us on Friday on Channel 4 at 9pm,' he said. James and Clair have already won fans over with their joint YouTube/podcast/book brand, At Home With The Buckleys which tackles 'the wild ride that is modern marriage, parenting and adulting'. The parents of two children – Harrison and Jude – are candid about their 'early lives, years of cult TV fame, having children and setting up their YouTube channel', cultivating over 250k subscribers. If that wasn't enough, they also have another podcast, In Sickness and In Health which focuses on discussing 'relationship non-negotiables.' As such, there is plenty of excitement to see this dynamic duo bring their witty rapport to the Gogglebox sofa. 'Can't wait to see you on it jay cartwright you legend,' Chris_leeds_united_woodrow said. 'Omg I'm buzzing!! Cannot wait!' jessica_sellwood95 echoed. 'These two are class. What an addition to Gogglebox this is gonna be,' kellyann83 agreed. Next up, we have pop singer Jess Glynne, 35, and her partner Alex Scott, 40, who is a well-known former Lioness and sports commentator. Taking to Instagram to share their involvement in the new season, the loved-up couple said: 'We are both so excited to be joining the Gogglebox family.' Alex then turned to the Hold My Hand hitmaker and asked, 'Are you ready to watch some TV?' to which Jess responded, 'Yeah, are you?' and Alex replied in the affirmative, encouraging viewers to join them on Friday. The brand-new stars have been in a happy relationship since summer 2023 and have been seen together at plenty of red carpet events. Jess spoke about the joy she has found in life to Metro last year: 'I am happy, I feel like I've found a really good balance in my life. I've got support in my family, my business, my partner, everyone around me.' Of course they have sparked plenty of excitement among fans. 'Aww looking forward to this weeks episode even more,' user raerubyraek said. 'No place I'd rather be,' officialanmollakhani joked. After a standout year of cameos from Big Boys to Doctor Who, Rylan is charming the nation for another year as he returns to the sofa with mum Linda. First joining the show in 2019, the mother-and-son duo have been staples of the Channel 4 reality show. In a recent Instagram post, they confirmed this dynamic duo would be shaking things up again with Rylan joking: 'Cor, someone's had her makeup done, look!' Fans celebrated their return, calling them 'the best'. The Happy Monday rockers are back at it for another season as they announced on social media. 'We're back on Gogglebox with crisps, chocolate, jelly babies, popcorn and we're gonna watch tele and what?' Bez asked Shaun. 'Talk a right load of b****,' Shaun gleefully responded. The pair have made quite the spalsh on the show, with such vibrant chemistry that fans have veen called for them to get their own show all together. In 1993, the pair formed Black Grape together and remained close friends since then British swimmer Ellie Simmonds and close friend, radio personality Richie Anderson – who were co-stars on Strictly Come Dancing in 2022 – are returning for another season of Gogglebox. 'When I got the call I did wonder whether I should do it. Then I thought I'd do a leap of faith. You don't know until you try,' Ellie said about her decision to join at the time. The retired Paralympian, who recently featured in a new documentary, Ellie Simmonds: Should I Have Children, called their return to the show as 'so exciting'. The famed Radio 1 broadcaster Nick Grimshaw – who first appeared on the show in 2019 – is returning for another season of Gogglebox shenanigans with his niece, Liv. In a chat with The Times last year, the regular joked: 'I love watching telly in the evening but watching myself watching telly on Gogglebox is a step too far. 'When I do, I spend the next few hours thinking, 'Wow, I really shouldn't be on the TV,' which I think is a healthy reaction.' This year has seen another big career milestone for the DJ and presenter who has recently joined the 6 Music Breakfast Show. Comic duo – Babatunde Aleshe and Mo Gilligan – are back, back again. As Mo said: 'We're back, we hope you're back too. Come on! No scary movies though please.' Babatunde was in full agreement although they both seemed to quickly accept their fate that there was likely a scary movie in their future. The longtime friends and collaborators decided to join Celebrity Gogglebox when their work dried up over the pandemic. The I'm A Celebrity star recounted: 'Then the pandemic hit, and the tour got postponed. I was like OK, right, back to square one. 'But then [Mo] said, 'look, we're still guaranteed to do the tour, but in the meanwhile do you want to join me on Celebrity Gogglebox?' And I said 'hell, yeah!' And so it all fell into place. I started doing that, and then my manager at TfL informed me that they had to let me go.' Last but certainly not least, Diversity duo Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely are back. The Britian's Got Talent winners and self-proclaimed 'besties' are sitting shoulder-to-shoulder' in the new series, as they told fans. They first appeared on the show with brother Ashley Banko in September 2021 and have been regulars since then. More Trending 'Perri kills me.
