A viral TikTok video has captivated social media users, showing a man's struggle to keep his dogs away from his wife while she was in a meeting.
The hilarious clip shared in April under the username @joey_how_u_doinn, shows the poster's husband using his legs to stop the two golden retrievers from getting to their mom. However, in the end the pups do manage to get through.
"I asked my husband to keep the dogs away while I was in the meeting..." the poster says in the clip. She adds in the caption: "Their faces..."
All dog owners love their fur-babies, but do they love use back? The answer, according to science, is yes!
A study carried out by a team of scientists at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, exposed dogs to both familiar and unfamiliar smells, and found that when they smelled the familiar aroma, the "reward center" of the brain was activated.
You can tell when a dog loves you by the way they behave around you. If they are happy to see you, give you presents, and put you second only to food, there's a high chance that your dog truly loves you.
Other signs of canine love include sleeping near you, looking at you with loving eyes, and following you everywhere.
While they can love more than one person, dogs often have a favorite too! They choose their favorite human based on your interaction with them, and how much your nurture your bond.
The more effort you put into your pup, you increase your chance of becoming their number one person. You can read the sign that you are indeed your dog's favorite here.

The video quickly went viral on TikTok and it has so far received over 806,700 views and 119,300 likes on the platform.
One user, Jazzy, said: "The one with really mad face change so quickly as soon as he moved his leg look at that smile like yes I knew couldn't stay there long."
Reina wrote: "It's like phone calls. The second you are busy dogs decide they absolutely need your undying love and attention and snuggles that very second."
LMS Weed added: "Dogs don't know when meetings are. they pick up on your stress levels, and come to you to help decrease them."

Mom Influencer Defends Why She's Been Doing Her Kids' Homework for Years

A 32-year-old content creator's candid confession has sparked a debate on her socials NEED TO KNOW Influencer and mom-of-three shared a candid confession about how she helps her children with school work on TikTok Her remarks sparked a debate in the comment section, including parents with mixed reactions Some followers praised her honesty, while others questioned the message it sends about responsibility Influencer and girl mom — a title proudly displayed on her TikTok and Instagram bio — Lottie Weaver has something to get off her in the school carpool line, the 32-year-old mom-of-three hit record and made a candid confession to her millions of followers. 'I have a confession to make, and if you are my kid's school teacher, just keep swiping,' she — who shares her life with three daughters, Berklie, 12, Kinlee, 9, and Hadley, 6, on social media — went on to admit that she 'sometimes' gives her girls 'the answers to their homework.''After the kids have been at school all day, done their work, been on their best behavior and they come home with homework… sometimes I give them the answers to their homework,' she said in the explained that after a long school day, she doesn't always see the point in pushing them to finish every question on their own. Weaver recalled a recent moment with her youngest daughter, Hadley, describing how the 6-year-old began to fidget and lose focus toward the end of a homework assignment.'Hadley came home from school yesterday — she is so well-behaved at school,' she continued. 'We get home, we're sitting, we're doing homework — you can tell she starts to get ancy towards the end. She's starting to get frustrated; she's starting to get over it. So, like the last four or five questions, I just give them the freaking answers.'Rather than drawing out the frustration, the mom-of-three said she simply provided the last few answers for said her daughters 'are so good at school' — earning good grades and turning in all their assignments — which is why she doesn't mind stepping in when she sees them 'getting ancy, fidgety and annoyed.'In those moments, she admitted, she'll 'give them the answers,' and the same goes for school projects, where she often takes on a large share of the work.'As a kid, that's a lot and that's hard,' she explained. 'Our job as parents is to help them; some may disagree, but I don't really care. I've been doing it since Berkeley [her oldest daughter] was the little one, and I'm gonna do it until Hadley's [her youngest] is all big.' After going viral, Weaver responded to the mixed reactions in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE. "If my kids were behind in school or getting bad grades, I obviously wouldn't be giving them answers," Weaver tells PEOPLE."They are well behaved at school [and] they all excel academically, so I will always lend a helping hand if they are staying on top of school," she continues. "It's such a long day being at school all day, sitting quietly and doing work. I try my best to help."The post quickly sparked chatter among her followers, with some applauding her honesty while others questioning whether it crossed the line between support and overstepping.'Big yikes,' one follower wrote, while another chimed in, 'Homework is ridiculous, they spend hours in school.'Others sided with Weaver, with one user saying, 'I don't see anything wrong with this,' and another questioning the overall reaction: 'Why is everyone agreeing with this?' Bagel shop sparks huge backlash over its lazy schmear technique: ‘Downright diabolical'

A New Jersey bagel shop is being schmeared online for its cream cheese placement on a woman's bagels. A New York City-based influencer posted a video on TikTok earlier this month showing her 55.7K followers their abysmal breakfast from Bella's Bagels in Seaside Park, New Jersey — racking up 25 million views and countless infuriated cream cheese critics. 'What is this?' the TikTokker, Valentina, asked as she held up the two halves of her bagel with thick slabs of cream cheese in the center of the bagel, ostensibly unschmeared. Advertisement 'Did you just cut Philadelphia cream cheese and put the freaking block?' 'And I know it's not a mistake, because what is this?' she said, showing a second bagel in her order that looked even worse than the first, with a block of cream cheese on just one side of the bagel and a deep space on the other half. 'This is not OK, guys, you have to spread your cream cheese,' she declared. Advertisement Valentina received nearly 15,000 comments in response. 'I thought that was a baked potato,' one person admitted. 'WHY IS IT A BLOCK?' another exclaimed. Advertisement 'I thought that was an Ice cream sandwich,' someone else said. 'Nahh, the second one was hateful,' one wrote. 'That's an appropriate amount of cream cheese for a bagel schmear, but a downright diabolical distribution of it,' another pointed out. 3 The second bagel in her order looked even worse than the first, with a block of cream cheese on just one side of the bagel and a deep space on the other half. TikTok/ Advertisement Bella's Bagels indirectly responded with a video posted to their TikTok account, but reportedly deleted the video after backlash. But nosy internet sleuths saved the video and reposted it. 'This is how we actually make bagels with cream cheese,' an employee said in the now-deleted video. 'We put a little glob in the middle and then we spread, cover all the edges, and then we cut it,' she said. 'This is how it should look — nice and soft, nice and spread, a nice Jersey schmear. If your bagel does not look like this, please come back or give us a call and we will fix it.' The video didn't go the way the bagel shop had seemingly wanted it to, with many commenting that their response was 'rude' and 'passive-aggressive.' 'Right. We know what it should like. That's the problem,' someone wrote. 'You ACTUALLY gave her a block of cheese. She SHOULDN'T have to come back so you can redo it. You SHOULD do it right the first time so she doesn't have to be back in the Jersey Shore,' another said. 3 Valentina held up the two halves of her bagel with thick blocks of cream cheese in the center of the bagel, seemingly not spread. TikTok/ Advertisement Some perturbed viewers even went back to Valentina's original post to discuss the response. 'They replied, acting like it was your fault you didn't come back for them to fix it,' one pointed out. 'They could have addressed how it should've been done without being passive-aggressive,' another said. 'Their response is even worse,' someone wrote. Advertisement 3 Bella's Bagels indirectly responded with a video posted to their TikTok account, but deleted the video after backlash. Google Maps Since then, the Bella's Bagels TikTok account has been flooded with negative comments, with its Yelp page frozen as platform moderators investigate alleged review bombing — presumably by Valentina's followers. Valentina posted an update asking people to stop tagging the bagel shop and noted that some individual employees reached out to her through their personal social media accounts, offering to somehow fix the situation. She said she appreciated the effort but 'left it alone' — until she saw the since-deleted video from Bella's Bagels. Advertisement 'But now I see that the company is actually posting a video, and they're throwing shade at the end, which is so unnecessary,' she said in the follow-up video. 'If you are trying to fix bad PR, you should probably respond to me and not like make a snide comment. That's just my two cents.' The Post has reached out to Bella's Bagels for comment.

Why Amaarae Chose PinkPantheress as a Duet Partner: ‘She's a Genius'

Amaarae has nothing but praise for her Black Star collaborator PinkPantheress. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the Ghanaian American star — who featured PinkPantheress on 'Kiss Me Thru the Phone Pt. 2' — opened up about their love for UK garage music and why she connected with her comments about having a high-pitched voice. 'PinkPantheress is such a genius. She's very quirky and funny and strange in real life,' Amaarae told Rolling Stone of the singer, whom she first connected with back in 2020. 'She was able to articulate a point that I've struggled to understand.' 'I think this is how I think my voice works best, and it's how I write,' the singer said at the time, pointing to its high frequency. 'I think my voice can be grating if it's too much, because I have a specific tone of voice.' Much of Amaarae's music, as heard on Black Star, pivots between her different vocal deliveries. About Pink's take, Amaarae said: 'Yes, girl, exactly! You need to minimize the time that people hear your voice before it gets redundant or shrilly to the ear… From a production standpoint, she's very right.' Amaarae explained she and PinkPantheress bonded over their love of UK garage, and that Pink wanted to remix her Fountain Baby hit 'Co-Star' at one point. Amaarae credits Pink with reintroducing the genre 'to a new generation,' and commends her ability to impact the music industry so deeply through electronic music. 'There's no way you become an artist that impacts the world so deeply just through 20-second clips on TikTok,' she said. 'You have to know what you're doing.' On their collaboration, PinkPantheress and Amaarae 'take the concept of [Soulja Boy's] 'Kiss Me Thru the Phone' even further.' Amaarae said her producer Steed sent Pink a beat to write over. What came back wasn't just a verse, but 'a whole joint written from top to bottom,' Amaarae said. Amaarae ended up re-shaping it by adding her own verses around PinkPantheress' writing, turning it into what she calls a 'proper duet' that interpolates Pink's own 'The Aisle.' 'I wanted to be a fan fiction and include her stuff because I'm such a fan of hers,' said Amaarae. Amaarae previously said she wanted to spotlight electronic music, 'a genre that needs to go back home to its roots,' on the album. The album title, Black Star, is a triple entendre referencing herself, the Ghanaian flag, and the Black cultural roots of the dance music she blends on the record. The album also featured artists such as Charlie Wilson, Bree Runway, and Naomi Campbell. When she spoke to Rolling Stone, she was in the midst of securing the features on her album. She was excited about Campbell, saying: 'Naomi is the GOAT culturally and is cementing her legacy with a new generation of artists. That would be insane.'
