Sheffield United star has to be held back as rival players clash during pitch invasion - after Burnley are promoted back to the Premier League
Burnley 's promotion back to the Premier League triggered some unsavoury scenes at Turf Moor as Sheffield United players clashed with fans on the pitch.
Scott Parker 's side secured their return to the top flight at the first time of asking with a 2-1 win over closest rivals Sheffield United on Monday night, triggering ecstatic celebrations at full time.
The result, which was earned via Josh Brownhill scoring twice for the hosts, also meant Leeds were promoted after Daniel Farke and Co beat Stoke 6-0 earlier in the day.
Fans flooded the Turf Moor pitch in celebration at full time on Monday, but some supporters appeared to clash with Sheffield United players as they stars made their ways off the field.
It also appeared that some players were involved in heated confrontations. Sheffield United's Hamza Choudhury was caught in an altercation by Sky cameras, seemingly having been wound up by Burnley star CJ Egan-Riley.
Choudhury was taken down the players' tunnel as Burnley stars continued to celebrate, while other footage showed fans in the face of the former Leicester star.

Leeds only needed Sheffield United to avoid victory in the evening game, and Chris Wilder's side did just that to count themselves out of the Championship's automatic promotion places.
Burnley, meanwhile, needed a victory to confirm their place in next season's top 20.
The Clarets have been the division's standout side defensively this season. They have conceded just 14 goals in 44 games under Parker, losing just twice as they proved to be hard to beat.
Against United, their closest challengers for second place, Brownhill scored the opened to lift the roof off Turf Moor, but Thomas Cannon silenced the cheers when he equalised just before the break.
Brownhill, though, netted his second of the game from the penalty spot just before the break. And that was enough, with ecstatic scenes triggered at the full time whistle.
While fans flooded onto the Turf Moor pitch, Sky cameras showed Leeds players celebrating back at Elland Road with champagne being sprayed.
'I am speechless,' Burnley hero Brownhill told Sky Sports after the game. 'All that hard work this season. We have been written off so many times, people calling us boring. We have worked our way back to the Premier League.
'I am so buzzing for some of the players who haven't had Premier League football before.'
United must now turn their attentions to ending the season strong before a play-off campaign in their bid to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking. They are eight points adrift of Burnley with 44 games played.

'And I think my parents would be angry if I were too fixated on money. After I moved to Leverkusen at 16, my parents managed my salary and sent me €150 (£126) a month. 'That shaped me. It was important to my parents that I didn't do anything stupid with my salary.' The German star is edging closer to an Anfield switch and has been convinced by Slot's clear plan of where he will play in Liverpool's set-up as a No 10.
