These 4 zodiac signs have the best shot at love in July — here's why
While many of us are feeling the heat, the astrology of July lends itself to emotional breakthroughs, fated attraction and wild new beginnings for four zodiac signs.
'With Venus entering charismatic Gemini on July 4 and expansive Jupiter gracing emotional Cancer, this month's planetary alignments promise romance, intriguing connections and heartfelt transformations,' said psychic Solas, an esteemed love expert at Psychic Source.
Solas notes that when Venus — our planet of love and attraction — transits Gemini, it amplifies charm and aids — and abets sudden, soulful connections.

Meanwhile, when Jupiter, our planet of good fortune and bestowed blessings, transits Cancer — the planet of its exaltation — our emotional intelligence is heightened, and our magnetism is at a fever pitch, sending out a come-hither and stay-forever vibe.
'July invites a courageous exploration of the heart,' Solas emphasized. 'Trust your instincts, and you'll find love waiting.'
Venus in Mercury-ruled Gemini supports levity and language, helping us attract and exchange with an eye on the curious and a hard-on for the cerebral.
Jupiter in forward-thinking Cancer encourages authentic, secure attachments and dynamics that sow the seeds for emotional growth.

5 Geminis have got it going on this month.

According to Solas, Gemini folks are the equivalent of a sexual tuning fork this month.
'Venus in your sign amplifies your natural allure and charisma, opening doors to vibrant and joyful romantic experiences.'
You're most likely look as good as you feel, and are encouraged to work with what you have: talk to strangers, flirt often and openly. Keep things light, but be open to the possibility that by casting a wide net, you'll catch a connection worth deepening.
5 Deeper emotional clarity is expected for Cancers.

Solas tells the Cancer contingent, 'With Jupiter enhancing your self-confidence, expect exciting new relationships and deeper emotional clarity in existing connections.'
Trust that you not only deserve but are wholly capable of attracting the kind of partnership you want; also, remember that when the object of desire appears, it may not be immediately apparent. As a safeguard, say yes more often than you say no and pay attention to your physical response rather than your first judgment.
For committed crabs, consider an exercise like tantric eye gazing to foster intimacy and build trust. Let staring be the spark of something unexpected.
5 Don't be afraid to say what you're feeling, Leo.

'Mercury's transit through your sign elevates your communication, making this the perfect period to express your desires and attract passionate connections, Leo,' Solas shared.
When Mercury turns retrograde mid-month, it can be a powerful time to course-correct your communication, lead with listening and listen in to people with quiet power rather than an obvious roar.
That being said, the stars support your signature brand of bold b–ch romance, so don't hesitate to speak your heart so long as the words are true and the aim is shared intimacy — not personal validation.
5 It's all about using your imagination this month, Pisces.

Power up to get down, Pisces.
Solas encourages the people of the fish to lead with imagination this month.
'Creative energies combined with Jupiter's expansive influence pave the way for heartfelt romance and imaginative, meaningful experiences.'
Plan a date that allows you to co-create, be it through climbing trees and telling stories, getting drunk on white wine and writing an exquisite corpse or making abstract art out of making love with a kit like this one.

Daily Horoscope for August 03, 2025
General Daily Insight for August 03, 2025 Thinking big is likely to be worth the trouble today. The spontaneous Moon bursts into optimistic Sagittarius at 2:00 am EDT, encouraging us to venture beyond the tried and true. As Luna goes on to oppose wild Uranus, some of our brainstorms might seem too crazy to pursue. Maybe we don't actually have to act them out physically — while Luna trines dreamy Neptune, enjoying a fantasy for what it is could still help us see a problem in a new way! Aries March 21 – April 19 Surprising the people around you could be quite rewarding. As the impulsive Moon in your philosophical 9th house opposes disruptive Uranus in your conversation sector, you might reveal that your political or spiritual beliefs aren't what others assumed they were. Don't worry — your audience should survive the shock. Although you may have your reasons for keeping some things vague most of the time, you'll potentially discover that there's room for more of you than you thought. Enjoy your expanded freedom to express yourself. Taurus April 20 – May 20 An opportunity to help someone in need could hit you in a strange way today. When the vulnerable Moon in your sharing sector provokes chaotic Uranus in your finance zone, your reaction to a request for assistance might surprise you most of all. Whether you choose to give extravagantly or decide to say no, your snap judgment will likely align with your deeper feelings. People should at least respect your internal consistency, even if it doesn't tell them what they wanted to hear. Gemini May 21 – June 20 Hearing how you come off to a loved one could rattle you. While the sensitive Moon in your relationship sector challenges independent Uranus in your sign, a significant person in your life might open up about their discomfort with your recent decisions. The situation in question is potentially bigger than just the two of you. As you hash things out together, make an effort to look at any recent shifts in society's handling of the issue — that can provide a valuable reality check. Cancer June 21 – July 22 Your attempt to plan your day is likely to run into a few snags. As the devoted Moon in your productive 6th house confronts unpredictable Uranus in your 12th House of Self-Undoing, the disruptions you encounter might seem to come out of nowhere. If you're honest with yourself, though, perhaps you're not totally enthusiastic about the tasks you're apparently being kept from. You may prefer to have someone else to blame, but taking greater ownership of your decisions could have its benefits too! Leo July 23 – August 22 An organization you belong to could currently be moving in a direction that makes you a little uncomfortable. As the candid Moon in your self-expression zone stands up to unhinged Uranus in your community sector, your instinctive emotional reaction might be something that other people involved in the situation need to hear — they may not realize how they're coming off. That said, you'll probably have a more productive conversation if you can give them an idea of what you'd prefer to have happen instead! Virgo August 23 – September 22 Putting yourself out there may be a mixed experience now. Part of you could find it exhilarating. However, as the delicate Moon in your private 4th house clashes with radical Uranus in your 10th House of Reputation, it's okay if you have your limits! Finding a collaborator you can rely on for support might at least help you feel like the burden is not all on you. The effort you're making in the world is probably valid, but so are your personal needs. Libra September 23 – October 22 Approaching conversations with an open mind can be especially illuminating now. While the impressionable Moon in your 3rd House of Communication engages with revolutionary Uranus in your expansive 9th house, someone you're chatting with could tell you about a subject you wouldn't have thought to look into by yourself. Feel free to listen as long as you're interested, but you shouldn't suspend your sense of judgment entirely, no matter how much you admire the other person. Weigh what you hear against your own scale! Scorpio October 23 – November 21 An innovative investment scheme has the potential to catch your attention at any moment. As the hungry Moon in your resource zone looks to bolt-from-the-blue Uranus in your 8th House of Big Money, you'll likely be tempted by anything that promises to quickly lift you out of a rut. Although asking for the details might seem to spoil the mood, any expert worth trusting should be able and willing to provide that information. Make sure you understand the basics before you proceed. Sagittarius November 22 – December 21 Someone else's unpredictability is at risk of bothering you at the moment. Although you might like to think of yourself as always up for adventure, the comfort-craving Moon's journey through your sign could bring out a side of you that needs more security. You don't have to come down hard on others about this, of course — their current needs may simply be different from yours. Slipping away to do your own thing can release you from your desire to control them. Capricorn December 22 – January 19 Deciding how to improve your self-care routine could challenge you. Overturning everything to adopt a radical new diet or exercise plan might appear to be the obvious fix. As the intuitive Moon passes through your contemplative 12th house, however, you may be better off simply taking some time to sit with whatever frustration you're experiencing. Although you can learn from the ideas of others, only you really know what makes you most comfortable — and that's a totally valid priority! Aquarius January 20 – February 18 Shocking your friends is possible at the moment. As the inquisitive Moon in your social sector pokes bold Uranus in your 5th House of Self-Expression, you might tell an unexpected truth when questioned about a personal matter. Even so, perhaps your audience won't be entirely surprised — your disclosure may simply confirm something that people had already picked up through subtle hints over time. The updated reality could still require a little adjustment, but it potentially won't be as much as you think! Pisces February 19 – March 20 A private matter has the potential to become public at this time. While the messy Moon in your 10th House of Reputation engages with unruly Uranus in your domestic zone, others could find out about some turmoil in your home life. Their judgment is less of a threat than you might fear. You don't get to choose every challenge that appears on your path. If you've lived up to your own values in your handling of whatever's going on, that's all that matters.

Boy injured in rare octopus incident at Texas aquarium
An octopus at the San Antonio Aquarium left a six-year-old boy with 'hickeys' covering his arm after the child reached into a touch tank, and the sea animal wouldn't let go. The boy's mom, Britney Taryn, has gone viral in a series of TikToks – two of which have garnered over 3 million views – after sharing how a giant Pacific octopus named Cthulhu latched onto her son Leo's arm during their July 14 visit. She said they visit often and had touched the octopus before without incident. Taryn shared glimpses of Leo's arm, decorated with dark purple solution cup bruises from his wrist to his armpit. "He started saying, 'Mom, it's not letting me go,'" Taryn said in one video, adding that it took three adults to remove the animals from the youngster's arm. The San Antonio Aquarium responded indirectly to the incident by posting two videos shortly after Taryn's posts gained popularity. In a TikTok on July 23, an aquarium employee explained that giant Pacific Octopuses have been known to use their suction cups to move objects up to 700 pounds. 'If you look around, this whole tank is open, okay?' the employee said of Cthulhu's larger-than-recommended 1,000-gallon tank. 'A lot of times you will go to an aquarium and it will be completely enclosed, and it's enclosed because these guys are expert problem solvers, and they're known to escape.' 'We have never had an octopus escape,' she claimed. 'We make them very, very happy. They have a lot of toys, enrichment, and problem-solving activities. We also give them a very mixed diet, a nutritious diet, and they realize that this is a great place.' The video ends with Cthulhu giving the employee some 'tough love' by latching onto her arm. The adult was able to remove the 'very strong' animal by herself, but Taryn was less than impressed by the clip. 'Now, imagine that that is a six-year-old,' she said in response. The aquarium posted another TikTok with Cthulhu and the employee last week, where she shares that octopus bruises aren't harmful and typically fade within seven to 14 days. She said giant Pacific Octopuses have around 200 suction cups per arm. 'She loves people, so she gets so excited sometimes, especially if it's food time, and she's trying to pry open my hand to get the shrimp,' the employee said, holding the crustacean. 'She's so intelligent. She has this giant beak. She could bite me if she really wanted to. I'm not her food source, but this is her food source, and she has a great time trying to get a hold of it. 'So with that, all this suction motion sometimes will create hickeys. We call them octopus kisses, but they're bruises, and it's basically where red blood comes up to the surface of your skin. She's not trying to be harmful in any manner.' The employee concluded, 'Suction marks are actually common and normal for strong, inquisitive animals like her. I promise it's not a cosmic cry for help.' Taryn's videos have sparked debate about the safety of kids interacting with animals like octopuses. While she hasn't called the incident an attack and has since revisited the octopus with Leo, she said they were never warned about potential risks. She's using social media to caution others and advocate for better animal care. Taryn has asked the San Antonio Aquarium to document the incident and explain their safety protocols, but says she hasn't received a response. The Independent has contacted the San Antonio Aquarium for comment. Solve the daily Crossword
