Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger celebrated his 82nd birthday in style last night - starting with a private dinner in Kensington before heading to Chelsea to continue the party Rock legend Mick Jagger celebrated his 82nd birthday with an A-List bash in London last night, where police were reportedly called at one point, due to an altercation outside involving security. The party started off with a private dinner at Kensington Roof Gardens, before the group headed to The Rex Rooms nightclub in Chelsea, arriving in style on party buses. There, they met with a number of other celebrities who were at the venue for the afterparty of the latest Oasis concert which took place at London's Wembley Stadium. Despite none of the Britpop band attending the afterparty - it didn't stop the rest of the celebrities, including Liam's sons Gene and Lennon Gallagher, from partying until 4am. The Rolling Stones frontman attended the venue hand in hand with his fiancé Melanie Hamrick, who stunned in a black mini dress and stilettos. Melanie appeared to be in the party mood, jokingly sticking her tongue out as she was snapped leaving the venue. Jagger matched the vibe with a black suit and white shirt - as he was all smiles as he was joined by his closest friends and family. Rolling Stones bandmate Ronnie Wood joined the bash with his wife Sally Humphreys Wood. Ronnie, who wore a bright blue shirt under a stone blazer, could be seen carrying a red gift bag with the words "Happy Birthday" on. Sally also opted for a colourful outfit, entering the venue in a floral print red dress. Also amongst the guests were Mick's 33-year-old daughter, Georgia May Jagger and her mother Jerry Hall. The pair looked in good spirits as the entered the venue, both looking elegant in mid length black dresses. Elizabeth Jagger was also seen heading into the party. Liam Gallagher's son Gene could also be seen at the bash, although it appeared he wasn't overly keen on being snapped as he was pictured with his head down as he walked into the venue while his girlfriend also covered her face. Other celebrities in attendance included Daphne Guinness, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jimmy Carr and Mariella Frostrup. Last month, it was reported the Rolling Stones were working on a new album after reportedly deciding to scrap plans for a comeback tour in Europe. It's claimed that the group have more than a dozen songs ready to go after spending time in the studio. Bandmates Mick Jagger, 81, Keith Richards, 81, and Ronnie Wood, 78, are said to have been working in Metropolis Studios in London since April. It was reported that they were in discussions over the release of their 25th studio album.

Oasis-fever officially hit London on Friday as the band return to the capital to play their first gig there in more than 16 years. After a run of homecoming gigs in Manchester's Heaton Park, the rock and roll stars, fronted by Gallagher brothers Liam and Noel, will take to the stage at London's Wembley Stadium tonight. Fans pitched up at the venue 12 hours before the start having paid at least £151 per ticket - but some have paid £564 or more for the best seats. The band announced their highly anticipated reunion tour in August last year, after Noel quit in 2009 after a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. With five nights scheduled, the group posted door and stage timings on their Instagram account with an hour-by-hour breakdown of the evening, starting with the gates opening at 5pm. While fans were excited at the reunion, some were outraged after some standard tickets in the UK and Ireland jumped from £148 to £355. The controversy prompted the Government and the UK's competition watchdog to pledge to look at the use of dynamic pricing. After their final London gig on August 3, the group will move north to Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium before performing at Dublin's Croke Park. The band will then head to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America. Formed in Manchester in 1991, the band was led by lead guitarist Noel and lead vocalist Liam during their 18 years together. Oasis signed to independent record label Creation Records in 1993, rising to fame with the release of their debut chart-topping album Definitely Maybe on August 29 1994 . They had hits with songs including Don't Look Back In Anger, Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall and Live Forever. Dig Out Your Soul, the band's last studio album, was released in 2008, just months before the Paris row.

The former couple once shared a stunning home in London which was branded 'Supernova Heights' due to the iconic parties held there. 'Supernova Heights' was the nickname given to Noel Gallagher and Meg Mathews' plush London pad they shared together in the 90s which was known for having iconic A-lister parties. The swanky abode was filled with sixties retro furniture, bespoke leather beds, seventies-style toilets, psychedelic patterned carpets and one huge fish tank. The address also housed many a famous face, including Kate Moss. Speaking about his time in Supernova Heights, Noel told the Belfast Telegraph that he sold the plush pad when he gave up drugs, he said: "Yes, is the short answer to that. I had the house for two and a half years and it felt like I lived in there for a lifetime, for a decade." He was then asked if anyone could just turn up to the mansion, and Noel said: "Not anyone. But to be honest, though, on more than one occasion, you'd look around the room and I'd say to somebody; 'Who the f**k is that guy there?' 'Oh, he delivered the pizzas here about four or five hours ago'. It was great. Steve Coogan was my answering machine message." In 1997, Noel revealed how he tormented a group of unsuspecting fangirls who turned up wanting supermodel Kate Moss' autograph. "Kate Moss'd be staying here for a couple of weeks and I've got loads of shopping, so I'm trying to open the gate and there was these four girls, they've got these books and they're going, 'Can you get me Kate's autograph'?" he told radio host Sean Rowley. 'You're coming round 'ere, to my 'ouse, asking for supermodel' autographs? You taking the piss, or what? Do you not want mine? Well, I'll tell you what, you're not going until you have mine. You're having my autograph now!' "Supernova Heights was great for the time but then there came a point when I thought, 'I need to get out of this'." "I can look back on it and say it was a good time, but I made some fundamental mistakes in my life," he told the Guardian. Noel then sold the home to Hollyoaks actress Davinia Taylor and her then-partner Dave Gardner and then it was sold again in 2005 to David Walliams.
