A man who died after being hit by a car had "the biggest heart possible", his family have said.Peter Bartle, 63, and his wife, Sarah, 48, were hit by a grey BMW as they crossed Holderness Road, in Hull, at about 19:50 GMT on Friday.Mr Bartle died at the scene from his injuries and Mrs Bartle was taken to hospital, with more than £10,000 being raised in a few hours on a crowdfunding page set up to help with care and funeral costs.In a statement, Mr Bartle's family said they would be "lost without him".

Combined with its eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system, it could propel its more than 2.5 tonnes from 0 to 100km/h in 2.6seconds and reach a top speed of 155mph. But if the player had been hoping to fly the car over to Madrid or buy a similar model for everyday use in Spain, he would've been left bitterly disappointed. That's because Los Blancos' sponsorship agreement with BMW prevents the players from being able to drive any other car brand to training, reports Spanish outlet El Motor. Each year, the German car manufacturer provides the Real Madrid squad, as well as the women's team and basketball team, with cars to use throughout the season. The agreement only includes plug-in hybrid and electric models, with the cars later sold off by BMW as pre-owned models. Meanwhile, Vinícius Junior opted for the BMW i7 M70 xDrive, which costs slightly more at £157,000. Alexander-Arnold has wasted no time in settling into his surroundings, having made his first public appearance as a Los Blancos player by attending the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. There, he met club legend Roberto Carlos, who he posed with for a photo. The body of a 20-year-old man was found next to a quadbike on the dual carriageway on Saturday morning. The investigation into his death has seen a 40-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder and driving whilst unfit through drink and driving whilst unfit through drugs, and a 37-year-old man arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and assisting an offender. Both of these men have now been released on conditional police bail as enquiries continue. During Gwent Police's murder probe they found a burnt-out BMW in the Dowlais area, which they still believe may have been involved in the collision. They ask anyone who may have information on this car to contact them. Police are urging for anyone who was travelling along the A465 between the hours of 2am and 5am on Saturday morning, to check their dashcams. A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: "Officers investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the A465 westbound, between Rhymney and Dowlais, on Saturday, May 31, are continuing their appeal for information. Article continues below "A Brynmawr man, 20, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene at around 4.50am after his quadbike was found overturned on the westbound carriageway.
