I'm shopping the Girlfriend Collective sale for up to 70% off my favorite leggings and more

As a former dancer turned yoga and pilates lover, you will never catch me wearing itchy and uncomfortable tights and leotards again. As such, I have extremely high comfort standards when it comes to activewear, but struggled for a long time to find the sweet spot between style, sustainability, and soft fabrics that last for years. Thankfully, I found the Girlfriend Collective a few years ago, and it's been my go-to activewear brand ever since. But that doesn't mean I want to pay full price, which is why I'll be stocking up on new styles during the current Girlfriend Collective Anniversary Sale.During the sale, Girlfriend Collective is offering the best deals we've seen from the brand all year with 30% off sitewide and up to 70% off sale items. Among the markdowns are editor-favorites like the Compressive Pocket Legging, our top legging with pockets we've ever tested, and plus-size activewear we love, from bras to dresses to accessories and more. With the entire site on sale, you might be overwhelmed by your options. Luckily, we have you covered with recommendations. Ahead, check out our favorite deals from the Girlfriend Collective Anniversary Sale.Note: The prices shown here may not reflect the prices you see on the product page. Like all of Girlfriend Collective's activewear, the brand's best selling Paloma Bra is made from a mix of recycled water bottles and spandex. It's designed for medium-impact workouts and keeps you snug during runs and HIIT classes alike. The Paloma's longline silhouette also makes it look more like a crop top than a sports bra, which is great if you prefer to go shirtless during your sweat sessions.
A bestseller for a reason, the longline Paloma Bra is one of my most reached-for activewear pieces. It's made with Girlfriend's signature compression fabric, which offers comfortable and smoothing support. It also comes in 11 different shades, so you can mix and match with your favorite leggings. But my favorite part has to be that it lacks annoying removable pads, but is double-lined and substantial enough to wear on its own.
Not only are these high-rise leggings comfortable and durable, but each pair is made from 25 recycled water bottles. The FLOAT fabric is ultra-soft and stretchy, making it perfect for low-impact workouts.
Girlfriend Collective is perhaps best known for its top-notch compressive leggings. But the FLOAT Ultralight Leggings deserve way more hype if you ask me. Butter-soft doesn't even begin to describe how great this fabric feels. These leggings are soft, stretchy, and lightweight to the point that you'll forget you're even wearing them, making them great for outdoor or heated workouts. I've had my pair for years, and they still look good as new despite going through the washing machine several times. Plus, they're available in two inseam lengths, depending on your height and preference.Read our full Girlfriend Collective sustainable leggings review to learn more. The Girlfriend Collective Anniversary Sale went live on June 24 and will continue until July 6, so you still have over a week to shop. Hola, Paloma Mami: Get to know the rising star with a Drake-inspired stage name

The Chilean American singer's sophomore effort, "Códigos de Muñeka," is a bold and playful follow-up to her acclaimed debut album "Sueños de Dalí." Paloma Mami is getting all dolled up for her musical return, but not in the ways you might imagine. The Chilean American songstress, born Paloma Castillo Astorga, first bewitched the Latin urban scene with her 2021 debut album "Sueños de Dalí," a haunting record that seamlessly blended R&B, reggaeton and trap influences with Paloma's combination of ethereal vocals and razor-sharp rapping. The singer, the first artist of Chilean descent to sign with Sony Music Latin, made her mark by nabbing a pair of platinum singles and a Latin Grammy nomination for best new artist. But instead of caving into self-imposed expectations of "what I want to have people hear from me," Paloma says she vowed to loosen up and take a "natural" approach for her much-anticipated follow-up. "Every artist learns from creative processes and work experiences what not to do and what to do better next time," Paloma Mami, 25, tells USA TODAY. "With this album, I realized I was going to be a lot more free just to play around." Playtime is up, and the result is Paloma's bold sophomore effort, "Códigos de Muñeka" ("Doll Codes", out now), a chameleonic album in which the singer-songwriter uses her ever-shifting identities, personified as "dolls," to get candid on the trials and tribulations of romance. "During one day, I have a bunch of different personalities. I just change thoughts and like an hour later, I'm a whole other person," Paloma says. "I was very heavy on the thought of not overthinking the lyrics and not putting so much 'Oh, I have to represent for this type of people.' I was more just on what I feel and how I would want to hear something." Here are five things to know about Paloma and her latest musical chapter. Rap superstar Drake influenced Paloma Mami's stage name Paloma Mami owes a piece of her artistic origin story to the Champagne Papi himself. The singer's stage name was inspired, in part, by rap icon Drake and his Instagram username, @champagnepapi. "I always loved the way he writes and his musical production in all his albums," Paloma says. "My favorite album of his is 'Views,' and I feel like when I was younger, that album definitely inspired me a lot to want to make music." 'Some Sexy Songs 4 U' takeaways: Drake minimizes 'rap beef' in new album, his first amid Kendrick Lamar feud The Canadian emcee's Grammy-nominated fourth album features the now-iconic R&B jam "Hotline Bling," as well as the dancehall-inflected "One Dance." While Drizzy has sonically evolved with his latest releases, the dance-influenced "Honestly, Nevermind" and the hip-hop heavy "For All the Dogs" Paloma doesn't rule out a musical link-up someday. "Listen, if he brough back (the) 'Views' era, it would be a dream collaboration," Paloma says. "Now, he's older, he talks about different things. He sounds different, obviously, because you can't always sound the same." 'Let life surprise me': J Balvin talks 'Mixteip' album, fatherhood and taking it easy Why Paloma Mami's Rauw Alejandro collaboration 'La Freak' was written in the stars Of all the collaborations on Paloma Mami's new album, one was truly the work of el universo. The singer teamed up with fellow reggaeton star Rauw Alejandro on "La Freak," a steamy hook-up anthem that sees the pair trade raunchy flirtations with blush-worthy rizz. Paloma says she had the "intuition" that Alejandro, known for his Casanova persona and NSFW lyrics, would be the perfect collaborator, and a chance conversation proved her right. "He had literally reached out to me and was just asking me about where I was and everything," Paloma reflects. "I was going to where he was, like, a week later. So, I was like, 'Oh my God, I was just thinking about you, and I have this song. I would love for you to be on it.'" Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía interview: How music's power couple balances love, work Paloma's creative manifestation fully came to life when she and Alejandro met up in New York to work together in the studio. "He was super quick," Paloma says. "He was really cool to watch create. I loved the process. I always love to see how artists make their music, and it was really dope." Paloma Mami shares the inspiration behind emotional 'Astros' video Paloma Mami's newest music video is a coming-of-age of sorts. The visuals for "Astros," a bruising breakup track about an ill-fated love, see Paloma navigate an arctic environment — including getting trapped inside a block of ice — as she grieves the loneliness of her heartbreak. The video is also peppered with references to her 2019 hit "Fingías," an Easter egg that Paloma says was meant to "pay homage to my younger self and close a cycle." "In this environment that I'm in, I kind of froze myself because I was trying to get to somebody else," Paloma explains. "I basically was where I was because I was trying to reach somebody that wasn't reachable, things that happen when you put others before yourself." Will Paloma Mami go on tour for 'Códigos de Muñeka'? Paloma Mami may be coming to a city near you. The singer, who treated fans to a headliner set at Coke Studio at L.A. LIVE on July 25, teases that a concert tour is likely to get on the books for 2026. "I definitely want to be able to plan everything super well for this tour just because I have so much care for the aesthetic of the album," says Paloma, whose album campaign is coated in the classic doll color, pink and the hyper-femininity of magical girl anime. "It's just so detailed, I feel like we have to come up with a really great visual aesthetic to it, so that everybody can kind of feel like they're immersed in the world," Paloma adds. "So, we're just going to work on how to do that for now." Karol G interview: Singer talks 'dream' album 'Tropicoqueta,' boyfriend Feid and Netflix documentary Paloma Mami looks back on Major Lazer hit 'QueLoQue' Paloma Mami was courted by music royalty early on in her career, and the experience was "fire," she says. 2025 marks the five-year anniversary of Paloma's song "QueLoQue," a collaboration with EDM heavyweight Major Lazer that the singer landed before her debut album even dropped. The mambo-infused, hip-hop banger earned the rising star a Top 20 hit on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and helped her meet Major Lazer frontman and Grammy-winning producer Diplo. "Major Lazer and Diplo had been reaching out to me when I first started everything, too, which was really cool that they were able to recognize sounds just for sounding good," Paloma says. "They're really dope in that area of finding artists who are underground … I really loved collaborating with them."

Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep spotted across New York City as 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' filming continues: Everything we know about the high-fashion sequel

The actresses have already stepped out in an array of stylish looks since production began at the end of June. It's been nearly a month since 20th Century Studios announced that The Devil Wears Prada 2 is officially underway. Since the distribution company's Instagram announcement on June 30, the sequel appears to have picked up some serious momentum. Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep, the film's stars, have been spotted all over New York City chicly dressed in an array of coveted designer clothes. The Devil Wears Prada 2 picks up nearly 20 years after the original and will see Hathaway and Streep reprise their iconic roles. The original 2006 film, based on the novel by Lauren Weisberger, follows the career trajectory of aspiring journalist Andy Sachs (Hathaway), who gets the opportunity to work in fashion at the prestigious Runway magazine as an assistant to Miranda Priestly (Streep), the magazine's cutthroat editor in chief. She's soon thrust into the fast-paced world of high fashion, and eventually goes from being a sartorial disaster to dressing in coveted designer garments. Streep's character is famously modeled after Vogue's Anna Wintour, who recently stepped down as the magazine's editor in chief. The film, which grossed $326 million at the box office worldwide, earned Streep an Academy Award nomination. Here's everything we know (so far) about The Devil Wears Prada 2. 👠 What's 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' about? The sequel will focus on Priestly as she deals with the changing tides in fashion journalism and the decline of traditional magazine publishing. The indomitable editor will be forced to confront former assistant Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), a now ultra-successful executive for a luxury group with financing that could determine the future of Runway magazine. What's the movie's release date? The Devil Wears Prada 2 will hit theaters on May 1, 2026. Are the original cast and crew returning? Hathaway and Streep, along with Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci and Tibor Feldman, are set to reprise their roles in the sequel, according to Variety. Details surrounding the Devil Wears Prada sequel were first reported by Deadline in 2024. Sources told the outlet that Crazy Ex-Girlfriend cocreator Aline Brosh McKenna had been tapped to write the film's sequel, which was in early development at Disney at the time. David Frankel, the original film's director, and Wendy Finerman, the original film's producer, were also reportedly in talks to return. Are there any new cast members joining? Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet and Kenneth Branagh, who will portray the husband of Streep's character, have all been added to the cast, according to Variety. The outlet also reported that Conrad Ricamora, Helen J. Shen and Caleb Hearon are adding to the fashionable call sheet. Also joining the cast is former Bridgerton star Simone Ashley, along with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star Rachel Bloom and the show's cocreator Patrick Brammall, per Deadline. Is the sequel being filmed in New York too? Yes! Last week, around the time filming began, New Yorkers came across a sign notifying them of filming in Midtown Manhattan. 'Cerulean' was listed as the project name — a reference to the famous monologue Streep's Priestly gives Sachs in the original film. Since then, photos of Hathaway, Streep and other of the film's stars have been snapped on the streets of Manhattan in an array of high-fashion garments, from Jean Paul Gaultier to Coach. Hathaway in character as Sachs, for instance, was recently spotted in a chic-but-casual Ralph Lauren Purple Label blazer, light-washed and loose-fit denim, snakeskin-printed boots and a statement Valentino Nellcôte bag. As recently as Monday morning, Hathaway was seen in a handful of outfits — a cropped white button-up and pleated green skirt; a textured red vest over a navy striped maxi dress; and a casual navy ensemble complete with a pinstripe jacket and oversize shades. Has the cast said anything about the film? Hathaway has been sharing exclusive looks at filming The Devil Wears Prada 2 on her social media accounts. Since teasing the return of Sachs with a stylish Instagram post on July 21, Hathaway has shared two more reels: one of her wearing a colorful, patchwork Gabriela Hearst design as Sachs, and the other of her explaining the significance behind a certain pair of eyeglasses. Hathaway previously voiced skepticism about The Devil Wears Prada 2 ever making it across the finish line. 'We all love each other and if somebody could come up with a way to do it, I think we'd all be crazy not to," she told V Magazine in 2024. "But there's a huge difference in the world now with technology, and one of the things about that particular story is it was about producing a physical object. Now with so much being digital, it would just be very different.' Solve the daily Crossword

Woman Says Friend Texts Her Fiancé Behind Her Back, Then Asks Him to Hang Out

"It's a mind game because nothing she's saying is overtly inappropriate, but I'm not getting a good gut feeling about her," the woman wroteNEED TO KNOW A woman and her fiancé are uncomfortable with their mutual friend's girlfriend messaging him privately The girlfriend's texts weren't flirty at first, but recently they've grown increasingly suggestive Though the fiancé is transparent with the woman, she can't shake the feeling of distrust towards the girlfriendA Reddit user is suspicious of another woman getting flirty with her fiancé, despite them all being friends. The 29-year-old woman opened up about the uncomfortable situation between her 30-year-old fiancé and his childhood friend's girlfriend in a post on Reddit. "I need to get this off my chest because it's been bothering me a lot and I don't know if I'm overreacting or trusting my gut," she begins. She explained that the two couples are in a group chat together, but the 27-year-old girlfriend continuously and consistently messages her fiancé privately, while making no effort to build a connection with her. In the past, the girlfriend's messages weren't "explicitly flirty" but rather random questions and comments that, in the poster's mind, would have been just as suited for the group chat. "She's extremely friendly to me and I like hanging out all together. Yet, If we're all supposed to be friends, why is she building a connection only with him privately but not me?" she questions. While the poster has been letting it slide, recently, the messages have taken a suggestive turn. On the fiancé's birthday, the girlfriend stayed up late so she could be "the first one to wish him a happy birthday." "Something about that just really upset me. It felt so intentional, like she wanted to insert herself in a way that made her feel close to him," the poster explains. At a separate time, the girlfriend also texted the woman's fiancé, saying she wanted "to hang out with him with or without her boyfriend." "That sentence keeps playing in my head," the woman writes. "Who says that to someone else's fiancé?" The poster notes that her partner has been very transparent and always shows her the messages and asks how to respond. While her fiancé is equally "uncomfortable" with the situation, he doesn't want to complicate the dynamic between the four of them – him, his fiancée, his friend and the girlfriend. Still, now he's set a "clear boundary:" whenever the girlfriend texts him, he'll send his reply in the group chat. But it's not about trusting her fiancé, the poster notes — it's about trusting the girlfriend. "I can't stop feeling disrespected and honestly, [on] high alert. It's a mind game because nothing she's saying is overtly inappropriate, but I'm not getting a good gut feeling about her," she writes. "She's seemingly happy in her relationship so why is she going to my fiancé for random things?" Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human-interest stories. Those in the comments agreed, noting that they were willing to give the girlfriend the benefit of the doubt until she asked to hang out alone with him. "I could see her sending him non-flirty texts about specific topics that are career related, but the part about wanting to hang out with just him and maybe her [boyfriend] — to the exclusion of you — is troubling," one wrote. "I'd be suspicious as well." Another suggested the girlfriend is "playing a long, low-stakes game" — establishing a connection with the fiancé should either one of their relationships end.
