Police: Three arrested for stealing 300 pieces of mail in Milton
The three individuals, who Milton Police did not name, are charged with breaking and entering into a depository, receiving stolen, possession of burglarious instruments, and multiple motor vehicle violations.
According to authorities, one suspect was taken into custody without incident while two others attempted to flee in a vehicle, but were quickly located.
Police say both suspects ran away on foot and were eventually apprehended by Milton Police Patrol Units and a Massachusetts State Police K9 unit.
Approximately 300 pieces of stolen mail, as well as stolen U.S. Postal Service property was recovered during the arrest process, according to police.
All three suspects will be arraigned in Quincy District Court.
'We would like to thank the Massachusetts State Police for their assistance and remind the community to use caution when mailing personal checks,' Milton Police wrote in a social media post. 'Please remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity observed near mailboxes.'

Boston motorists captured the moment over 100 bikers filled a local highway, stopping traffic and wreaking havoc on the roads. The incident was initially reported just after 2 p.m. on Saturday, after Massachusetts State Police received a call regarding a group of people on bicycles, electric scooters and dirt bikes in the O'Neill Tunnel, according to WCVB. Bystander footage shows dozens of riders racing down the highway without helmets and weaving in and out of vehicles. During the chaos, one of the bike riders reportedly collided with a state police cruiser, WCVB reported. The driver of the bike allegedly jumped off and fled from the police on foot. Only one rider, 22-year-old Adam Harrison, was arrested at the scene of the collision after a trooper recognized him as one of the riders, reported. However, Harrison has denied any involvement in the joyride. "I saw a bunch of bikers go up the Seaport bridge, and I was [like], 'Oh, that looks like fun,'" Harrison told Boston 25 News. "I was not on the highway. I did not go into the tunnel at all. I'm a 22-year-old guy. I would not condone that at all. I think it's stupid and it's reckless to go on the highway." Harrison pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges on Monday and is due back in court on Sept. 30. Court records reportedly indicate a defense attorney was unavailable for Harrison's arraignment due to a bar advocate work stoppage, according to Massachusetts State Police and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's requests for comment. Wu, a Democrat, has come under fire for her handling of crime in the blue city. "It was scary, we didn't even hear it coming," Michael Lancaster, a witness to the unlawful ride, told WCVB. "They just revved their horns to make themselves known. Just a bunch of dudes on motorcycles. They just came ripping through on dirt bikes."

Woman and baby hit by a minivan in Framingham crosswalk: Watch video
A woman and a baby were injured Monday, Aug. 18, when they were struck by an SUV as they crossed a street in downtown Framingham crosswalk, police said. The incident was caught on a city camera that records the intersection. The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Monday. The 12-second video released by police shows a woman pushing a stroller across the intersection at Waverly Street and Hollis Street. The woman is walking at what appears to be a normal pace in the crosswalk but appears to start to run as a minivan turns from Waverly Street onto Hollis Street. More: 'Heaven for him.' Police said both the woman and the child were taken to Boston hospitals to be treated for injuries not believed to be life-threatening. The beloved Newsmax hair stylist gunned down by her own son tried to stop him from killing himself during a mental health episode just hours before he turned the gun on her, according to a report. Travis Renee Baldwin, 57, frantically left her Arlington, Va., apartment at 3:20 a.m. on Sunday and raced to help her son Logan Chrisinger, who was experiencing one in a series of mental health crises, a family source told TMZ. 3 Baldwin with son Logan Chrisinger, who had previously threatened to kill both himself and his mother, a family member told TMZ.
