Jordan condemns approval of E1 settlement plan by Israeli Minister
The Ministry considered this a flagrant violation of international law and an assault on the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent, sovereign state on the June 4, 1967 lines, with occupied Jerusalem as its capital. , stressing that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territory.
The Ministry's official spokesperson, Ambassador Sufyan Qudah, affirmed the Kingdom's absolute rejection and condemnation of this settlement plan and the illegal Israeli measures that constitute a flagrant violation of international law and UN Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2334, which condemns all Israeli measures aimed at changing the demographic composition, character and status of the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem.
Qudah warned that the Israeli government's extremist expansionist policy in the occupied West Bank is continuing, which encourages the continuation of cycles of violence and conflict in the region.

US halts visitor visas for Gazans
The US State Department announced on Saturday that it has temporarily halted all visitor visas for individuals from Gaza. The official reason for the pause is to conduct a "full and thorough review" of the process used to issue what the department described as a "small number" of temporary medical-humanitarian visas in recent days. The move follows a political outcry that began on Friday when far-right activist Laura Loomer, an ally of President Donald Trump, claimed on social media that Palestinian 'refugees' had recently entered the United States. Her statement sparked immediate outrage among some Republican lawmakers, with US Representative Chip Roy of Texas and Representative Randy Fine of Florida describing the situation as a "national security risk". The visa category in question, known as B1/B2, permits foreigners to seek medical treatment in the US. An analysis of State Department figures reveals that more than 3,800 of these visas have been issued to holders of Palestinian Authority travel documents since the start of the 'Israeli' aggression, with 640 issued in May alone.

31 countries slam Netanyahu over 'Greater Israel' threats
Thirty-one Arab and Islamic countries issued a joint statement strongly condemning 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for remarks about a so-called 'Greater Israel,' describing them as a threat to Arab security, sovereignty, regional stability, and international law. The statement was issued by the foreign ministers of 31 Arab and Islamic countries - including Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan, and Indonesia - along with the secretary-generals of the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Gulf Cooperation Council. The statement also denounced 'Israeli' Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich's approval of settlement expansion in the E1 area and his rejection of a Palestinian state. They stressed that such actions violate international law, UN resolutions, and the Palestinians' right to establish an independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. The countries warned against 'Israel's' settlement policies, annexation attempts, and ongoing attacks in the occupied West Bank, including settler violence, incursions into Palestinian cities, destruction of refugee camps, displacement, and threats to Christian and Islamic holy sites. They emphasized these policies fuel cycles of violence and undermine peace prospects. The statement reaffirmed rejection of displacement of Palestinians, demanded an end to the blockade of Gaza, and called for unrestricted humanitarian aid to the Strip. They also stressed the need for a ceasefire, accountability for 'Israeli' violations, and support for reconstruction efforts. Finally, the ministers urged the international community, particularly UN Security Council members, to pressure 'Israel' to halt its aggression and inflammatory rhetoric, and to support Palestinians' right to establish an independent, sovereign state, with the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) as their sole legitimate representative.
