It's all the latest headlines from Parkhead in one place as part of your Monday AM news bulletin
Kyogo has offered a strong hint that he is ready to fight for his spot at Rennes next season.
It's been a nightmare move for the former Celtic star since he arrived in France in January.

The Japan international has played just 120 minutes in total since his switch and only started one league game.

He faces an uncertain future under manager Habib Beye, who almost completely bombed him out at the end of the campaign.
The 30-year-old has been back in his homeland during the season break and was a special guest at his former club Vissel Kobe.
He gave a speech to the fans and appeared to indicate he wanted to prove himself at his current club as he offered a major hint as to his own thinking ahead of the new season.
Kyogo said: "I'm so happy to be able to stand in front of you all again.
"I'll work harder and harder next season so that I can give you good news in future.
"Thank you for all your support."

Kyogo also lost his place in the Japan squad ahead of next year's World Cup and has been linked with a move away from Rennes.
Meanwhile, Pogon Szczecin have opened talks to sign Maik Nawrocki.
The 24-year-old was a fringe player for the champions last season and made just three league appearances under Brendan Rodgers.

It took him until March to make his first start when he was thrown into the Old Firm derby in the 3-2 home defeat to Rangers.
He landed praise from his boss for his display in the derby defeat - but only landed a couple more appearances with the likes of Cameron Carter-Vickers, Auston Trusty and Liam Scales well ahead of him in the pecking order.
Nawrocki is wanted for a return to his homeland and Pogon Szczecin's sports director, Tan Kesler has confirmed talks.

He said: "We have talked to Maik Nawrocki from Celtic."
The club finished fourth in the Polish league last season and want to bring Nawrocki back either on loan or in a permanent move. Celtic splashed out a reported £4m to Legia Warsaw to land his services two years ago.

Elsewhere, Hoops bound Callum Osmand has declared he is rested and ready to go.
He's set to arrive in Glasgow's east end from Fulham and he's been enjoying some down time.
Taking to social media sharing a series of snaps from his break in the sunshine he caption the post with 'recharged'.
He is likely to join Kieran Tierney in checking in to Celtic this summer with Benjamim Nygren and Ross Doohan also set to arrive at the champions.
g as they weigh up a £15million offer as they attempt to get Celtic to part with a key asset.

Liverpool transfer news: Marc Guehi tip revealed as Crystal Palace eye replacement

Liverpool made a winning start to their Premier League title defence but Arne Slot's team might not quite be done in the transfer market with some key targets remaining Liverpool travel to Newcastle on Monday night hoping to have made some progress on their transfer targets. One of those targets is Alexander Isak, who remains in a war of words with the Magpies at the time of writing, and his involvement hangs in the balance. ‌ Isak made mention of broken promises in an explosive social media statement on Tuesday. One man who could be closer to an Anfield switch, however, is Marc Guehi. ‌ Liverpool 's need for a new centre-back became more acute when some less-than-perfect defending almost allowed Bournemouth to snatch a point on the opening day of the season. Late goals from Federico Chiesa and Mohamed Salah gave Liverpool all three points, but Arne Slot recognised what the scare might mean for the Reds' title hopes. ‌ Giovanni Leoni has arrived from Parma for £26million, but he might not be the last centre-back to join. Guehi's future may rest on how much Crystal Palace want for their captain, who is out of contract in June. We're also expecting some more Liverpool exits between now and September 1, after Ben Gannon-Doak's Bournemouth switch. Here, Mirror Football brings you the latest from around Anfield. Liverpool's Guehi plan Liverpool could step up their pursuit for Marc Guehi in between the two legs of Crystal Palace's Conference League play-off, according to Sky Sports. Guehi is not expected to sign a contract renewal at Selhurst Park, so it's now about whether Palace cash in now or lose him on a free next summer. ‌ There's also the distraction of the Eberechi Eze transfer saga. The playmaker is set to join Arsenal after choosing them over Tottenham, with his medical set for Friday. Palace have been scouring the market for new faces, having been left in the frustrating position of potentially losing two key men just days into the new season. Now it is down to Liverpool to test the Eagles' resolve ‌ Palace eye replacement Jakub Kiwior has emerged as a potential replacemet for Guehi at Selhurst Park. The Arsenal defender has been linked with a move which reports suggest would be separate to the deal sending Eze the other way. Polish international Kiwior joined Arsenal from Spezia in January 2023 and has made 44 Premier League appeatances for the club. He may opt to leave North London this summer, though, after the arrival of Cristhian Mosquera raised fresh questions about his longer-term future. ‌ There has been interest from Italy, while Porto have looked at bringing in Kiwior on loan with an option or obligation to buy next summer. If the defender does leave for Palace, though, it could be good news for Liverpool in their Guehi chase. Marseille want Tsimikas Kostas Tsimikas is one of a number of left-back options being eyed by Marseille, according to reports in France. The Liverpool defender has dropped down the pecking order after the arrival of Milos Kerkez, and may have played his final game at Anfield. ‌ The Greek defender isn't the only option for L'OM, though. The French club are also keen on West Ham's Emerson, who played in Ligue 1 for Lyon before joining the Hammers. Nottingham Forest have also been linked with Tsimikas, who joined Liverpool in 2020 but has been unable to dislodge Andy Robertson at left-back. He played 18 times in the league last season, but only nine of those appearances were starts.

Celtic ultras' release statement amid growing fan unrest

Chants of "sack the board" could be heard from the stands at Celtic Park on Wednesday night as Brendan Rodgers' side drew 0-0 against Kairat Almaty. The result leaves the Hoops needing to win away in Kazakhstan to progress to the Champions League league phase, which would bring £40m in revenue. Michael Nicholson and Peter Lawwell were targets of supporters' frustration on Wednesday evening. Now, Bhoys Celtic have issued a statement on the state of the club, pointing to reasons why many fans are increasingly discontent. The group wrote on Instagram: "On Wednesday night we joined thousands of Celtic fans throughout the stadium in chanting 'sack the board'. "This chant was not just about one poor result in a European qualifying campaign, although the last two decades have seen many of those – often due to a lack of timely investment to strengthen our playing squad, something many of our managers have called out during their time here. "While 'sacking' the board may not be a realistic demand, such chants are one of the few methods of airing discontent available to us due to the way our club operate." The group highlighted the board's "continuous incompetence" and disregard for fans' opinions, despite them spending thousands of pounds every season supporting the club. They argue there is little to no return on investment in the playing squad, the stadium, or the match day experience. The group pointed to several examples of this, including the recent season ticket price increase for the 2025-2026 season, which they say was justified by the club as necessary to cover the recent national minimum wage and national insurance increases for match day staff, despite the club having tens of millions of pounds in the bank. They also criticised the lack of investment in an ageing stadium, with no improvement to fans' match day experience over many years. Other issues raised include a lack of transparency around ticketing, a dysfunctional ticketing office, the fans survey with unreleased results, and the lack of meaningful engagement with active fan groups to improve match day atmosphere. The group said: "Wednesday night was just one poor result, but taken with the above issues, highlights our many grievances with the way the club is run. "While we may still win the tie and we may strengthen the squad this transfer window, the issues outlined above are just some of many which will not change without accountability and transparency from the Celtic board."

Josh Mulligan grabs late consolation to give Hibernian hope against Legia Warsaw

The visitors survived a few early scares before striker Jean-Pierre Nsame opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 34th minute following Rocky Bushiri's handball, and Pawel Wszolek fired in a second from close range in the third minute of added time. David Gray's side came out for the second half fired up to make amends and they got their reward in the 85th minute with a Mulligan strike. Hibs have no domestic game this weekend having taken the opportunity to postpone their league fixture in between the two legs of the play-off round. Gray will prepare his side well for the second leg in the Polish capital next week and they can travel with hope. Hibs, with goalkeeper Jordan Smith, Bushiri, Chris Cadden, Mulligan, Dylan Levitt and Kieron Bowie restored to the line-up, sprung out the traps at a packed Easter Road. There was only a minute gone when midfielder Mulligan burst into the Legia box and took a Martin Boyle pass but did not get his shot away as he was thwarted by diving keeper Kacper Tobiasz, who pushed an angled drive from Bowie away from danger moments later. Edward Iordanescu's side could not get out their own half initially, but a swift break in the 12th minute ended with Nsame's drive from close range blocked by Hibs defender Jack Iredale. Bowie missed the target with another chance but on the half-hour mark, in another impressive Legia counter, Smith brilliantly saved a powerful drive from Rafal Augustyniak before Bushiri threw himself to block a second effort from Vahan Bichakhchyan. However, there was a long VAR check for a penalty with the visitors claiming the ball had struck the Hibs defender's arm. Finnish referee Mohammad Al-Emara was eventually asked to check the pitchside monitor and then pointed to the spot and amid boos and jeers from the home fans, Nsame hammered his penalty high past Smith. The Polish side had grown into the game and there was more trouble for the Leith side in first-half stoppage time when Nsame's cross from the left was volleyed in by the unmarked Wszolek from a tight angle. Hibs fans were looking for a reaction from their side after the break and they forced some early pressure, with Bushiri heading a Jordan Obita corner over the crossbar. Gray made a triple substitution in the 53rd minute with Nicky Cadden, Jamie McGrath and Miguel Chaiwa on for Iredale, Josh Campbell and Levitt, which increased the tempo and had Legia scrambling to keep their clean sheet intact. Another incisive Legia attack in the 61st minute ended with Bartosz Kapustka curling the ball past Smith from 16 yards, but VAR ruled Wszolek was offside in the build-up. It was a relief for Hibs and their fans but they should have conceded again in the 72nd minute when Bichakhchyan found himself picked out only yards from goal, only to somehow slash over the bar. The ball continued to fly around the Legia penalty area and in the 83rd minute substitute Thibault Klidje missed a great chance when he headed wide from eight yards out. However, there would be late drama. After Tobiasz had made a terrific save from substitute Junior Hoilet's diving header, Mulligan drove the ball into the net to re-energise the crowd and although the second goal would not come, Hibs still have a fighting chance.
