It's a big weekend for Notre Dame football recruiting, as they welcomed in multiple official visitors.
Two of them, Pennsylvania safety Joey O'Brien and Maryland cornerback Khary Adams have mentioned about playing with each other, and along with the Irish, they each are also considering Oregon and Penn State among other schools. Both of them are on campus this weekend, and it very much looks like they are enjoying their time in South Bend.
On social media multiple photo's and videos were shared, as O'Brien and Adams posed while donning the mostly Green and Gold in a shot shared by the Pennsylvania star. Adams then responded asking what he was thinking about doing.
That wasn't the only thing going around, as O'Brien was also seen in a mostly Gold room holding a Notre Dame guitar (see below).
Adams is ranked by 247Sports at the nations No. 75 overall player, while O'Brien is their No. 65 national prospect. The safety has scheduled a commitment date for June 20th, while the cornerback still has yet to give a timeline for his decision.
Regardless of when they will each commit, the Notre Dame is pulling out all the stops to show them that they could be successful both on and off the field by joining the program.

The rugged conditions at Oakmont Country Club got the best of several golfers at this weekend's U.S. Open. One former U.S. Open winner, frustrated by his performance, reportedly took things too far. Wyndham Clark, who won the major two years ago at Los Angeles Country Club, is accused of trashing the locker room after missing the cut on Friday. According to media personality "Tron Carter" of the "No Laying Up" podcast, the 31-year-old Denver native broke multiple lockers after his second round was complete. "Multiple sources confirming that [Wyndham Clark] really got after it in the Oakmont locker room," wrote Carter, whose real name is Todd Schuster. "Super classy, desecrating one of the most historic spots in golf AND on the heels of his behavior at Quail Hollow. Probably time to put him in the cooler for a few months." Carter, who used Clark's nickname "Blow Pig" in the tweet, went on to share photos of a pair of lockers that were damaged, with the screens partially detached and folding inward. If Carter/Schuster's reporting is accurate, this isn't the first time Clark's temper has gotten him in trouble. Advertisement At the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow last month, Clark issued a public apology after throwing his driver in frustration following a bad shot. "I would like to sincerely apologize for my behavior on Hole 16. As professionals, we are expected to remain professional even when frustrated and I unfortunately let my emotions get the best of me," Clark wrote. "My actions were uncalled for and completely inappropriate, making it clear that I have things I need to work on. I hold myself to a high standard, trying to always play for something bigger than myself, and yesterday I fell short of those standards. For that, I am truly sorry. I promise to be better the way I handle my frustrations on the course going forward, and hope you all can forgive me in due time." Clark, who hasn't won on the PGA Tour since his victory at the U.S. Open two years ago, has struggled at majors this year. Notre Dame 2026 running back commit Jonaz Walton has shut his recruitment down Notre Dame football has multiple prospects on campus this weekend for official visits, both committed to the Irish and uncommitted. One of the verbals currently in South Bend is running back Jonaz Walton. The 5-foot, 10-inch and 205-pounder committed to Notre Dame just over a month ago, and was still talking with others schools. That won't be the case going forward, as On3's Mike Singer is reporting that Walton has shut his recruitment down and won't speak with other schools. Walton went on the say that 'there's no doubt in my mind about my decision, and I'm not communicating with any schools.' This is great news for Notre Dame, as one of its goals with the current commits was to make sure they weren't wavering. It looks like it was a mission accomplished for the Irish with Walton this weekend, as he becomes one of many who have locked themselves into being part of Notre Dame's 2026 recruiting class.

Detry was right near the top of the leaderboard for much of yesterday's second round, until a truly horrible finish saw him make three double bogeys on the last five holes. But the Belgian is already back to +1 and only trails Sam Burns by four. (I still think it's a truly horrific glove, however.) Imagn Images That was not what Brooks Koepka was looking for to start this round. He was just fine after two shots, on the front of the green. But he three-putted for bogey and dropped to 3 over, six shots off Sam Burns' lead. The first hole is getting a lot of players today. It looks tame enough, but we all know it's not. Imagn Images Just when it looked like Scottie Scheffler had a little momentum, he missed a four-foot par putt on the eighth hole. That one certainly could hurt when we look back on it. Imagn Images Xander Schauffele and Rory McIlroy finish up their rounds without much going on during moving day. Schauffele shot a 1-over 71 and is at 7 over for the tournament. McIlroy shoots a 4-over 74 and is at 10 over. Brooks Koepka's opening tee shot leaks left and looks as though it's headed for the really juicy stuff, only to come down in the first cut. Fortunate. Less fortunate for Koepka is the fact the pin is placed in the middle of the green today, which will make his approach shot more tricky than it would have been Thursday or Friday. Brooks Koepka's putter might have cooled off a bit yesterday, but he will start his round today just five shots off the pace. In Round 1, despite missing seven greens in regulation, Koepka was able to successfully get up and down five times. Friday, he was just 2-for-9 scrambling, leading to a round with eight bogeys. Koepka trailed by multiple strokes entering the third round in three of his five major championship victories. Brooks Koepka is making his way to the first tee. He's playing alongside Si Woo Kim. Getty Images Marc Leishman's third round is starting to fall apart. He just carded his second consecutive bogey after missing a 16-foot putt for par. Leishman was once 4 under for the day. Now he's 2 under, sitting at +4 for the tournament. The move is going in the opposite (wrong) direction for the Aussie. Imagn Images Scottie Scheffler was left off the tee in a bunker on No. 7 and had to pitch out into the fairway on his second shot. But he hit a beautiful third shot and made the par putt. Scheffler heads to the difficult eighth and ninth. Two pars there would be certainly appreciated. Getty Images Englishman Matt Wallace is currently -3 for the day, without a single bogey on his scorecard. That means he's +3 for the tournament with five holes left to play today. Wallace has one PGA Tour victory on his record, at the Corales Puntacana Championship in the Dominican Republic in 2023. His best finish at a major came four years before that, when he enjoyed a share of third at the PGA Championship. But if he can maybe make another birdie or two before heading to the clubhouse he could well find himself in the mix tomorrow.
