Jennifer Zamparelli lands role alongside Australian heartthrob Jason Donovan
Ex-2FM star Jennifer Zamparelli is set to return to the stage as she lands a role in The Rocky Horror Show.
The hit musical returns to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin in August.
The Dancing with the Stars presenter will take on the role of the narrator for the show's run from 11 to 16 August 2025.
She will join Jason Donovan, who reprises his role as Frank N' Furter following a successful tour in Australia.
Zamparelli and Donovan previously shared the stage in the 2013 Dublin production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert in 2013.
Speaking about the role, Zamparelli said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be taking on the role of the Narrator in the iconic musical The Rocky Horror Show when it comes to Dublin in August. It's always been a favourite of mine.
"It's sexy, outrageously funny and it's going to be so much fun working with such a brilliant cast, including my old pal – the legend that is Jason Donovan."
The mum-of-two previously admitted she "had better" when she kissed Australian heartthrob Donovan on stage in 2013.
She told us previously: "Jason is amazing. He's not bad. I've had better. I can't believe the stamina that man has because the show is all singing and all dancing. I don't know how they did it. I only did two weeks."
Jennifer also told us at the time how her "first love is stage" – and it is how she met her now husband Lau.
"Because my first love is the stage, and I've always had a love for the stage. Sure that is how I met Lau. I directed a play. I had a theatre company in Bristol, and I directed him in a play. That's how we met.
"That all got pushed to the side so when it came about, I absolutely went for it.
"But it was just phenomenal what they do. I'm just in awe of them. To do something like this and to be asked to host the 2025 launch is great."
Directed by Christopher Luscombe, The Rocky Horror Show has been seen by over 35 million people worldwide and features classics such as Sweet Transvestite, Dammit Janet and The Time Warp.
Tickets for The Rocky Horror Show are on sale now, with prices starting from €35. For more information, visit bordgaisenergytheatre.ie.

I mentioned it before, but this is a fake page on Facebook. It has like 15,000 followers, but I'm pretty sure they're trying to scam people,' Kayleigh told her followers. 'A rake of you messaged me today telling me they're putting up, I don't know, bits and bobs, nothing harmful, but it's also not me.' Kayleigh added that two journalists had contacted her about a post that the fraudster made saying that she was changing careers, adding that she hadn't a clue what they were talking about. The TikToker appealed to her followers to report the poser, saying that she was contacted by journalists after the bogus page said she was changing careers. Pic: Instagram 'I don't want any of you to be scammed, but if you could do me a wee favour and go on and block them, that'd be great,' before joking 'you'd think people would have better things to be at.' Kayleigh boasts over 344,000 followers on her (actual) Instagram and recently participated in Dancing with the Stars, where she reached the final, eventually losing out to winner Rhys McCleneghan. Kayleigh was on holiday with fellow finalists Rhys and Jack Woolley, as well as her partner Tom and Jack's partner Dave when she suffered a fall while out for a run. Kayleigh was on holiday with her DWTS alum earlier this year, when she accidentally fell while on a run. Pic: Instagram/ Kayleigh Trappe Sharing a photo of her cut up knees on her story, Kayleigh joked that she 'tried to be one of those holiday runner wans but my legs ran away on me. Muchas gracias to wee Spanish Robert for helping me. Trés mortified.' Fortunately, the injuries haven't impacted the holiday too much as Dave later shared a selfie as the group appeared to be going on a hike, with Kayleigh poking fun at her style of TikToks when she shared a clip of herself and Jack singing karaoke, captioning the clip: 'When people ask why I lipsync.'

Roy Keane is not having Thierry Henry's 'greatest ever' shout for one position
Manchester United and Republic of Ireland icon Roy Keane has dismissed Thierry Henry's praise for ex-Arsenal and Chelsea defender Ashley Cole as being the best left-back he's witnessed. The Englishman carved out an illustrious tenure in north London starting from 1999, swiftly becoming a stalwart under Arsene Wenger and clinching two Premier League titles, alongside three FA Cups, contributing significantly to Arsenal's memorable 2003/04 Invincibles season. Despite Cole's over 200 appearances for the Gunners, his legacy was tinged by his contentious transfer to Chelsea in 2006, leading Henry to lament the lack of recognition for Cole as one of European soccer's supreme left-backs, with Keane offering a contrary viewpoint. "There is a guy that I want to talk about, who I don't understand why in this country he doesn't get his respect: Ashley Cole," Henry expressed on The Overlap's Stick to Football podcast. "Ashley Cole was outstanding. Firstly, in 2000, Ashley went to Crystal Palace on loan, and he saved them from relegation, playing as a winger. "When you have a left-back that can dribble past their winger, he was the one who created space for the rest of the team at Arsenal. He started everything. "For me, Ashley Cole is the best left-back I have ever seen. Me. I'm not talking about everybody. Ashley Cole... going forward, defending, the desire, what he won and why he won it." Henry, who shared the pitch with Cole 195 times at Arsenal, was met with a differing opinion from Keane, who remarked: "I think he was a brilliant player, but when you talk about great left-backs, he doesn't spring to my mind. Of course, he was a brilliant player." In response to Keane, Henry defended Cole's legacy, particularly in light of his contentious transfer from Arsenal to Chelsea, asserting: "Ashley Cole is an Arsenal man. "His whole family supports Arsenal. But I can understand why he left at the time. In 2005, David Dein shook hands on a deal, but he came back with something else. "With Ashley moving to Chelsea, people don't give him the respect he deserves for everything that he has done. But for me, Cole was outstanding." Dein, the former vice-chairman of Arsenal, had many triumphs during his tenure but has confessed that one of his greatest regrets was allowing Cole to leave, a decision that still resonates years after his 2007 departure from the club. Cole was presented with a substantial salary increase by the Stamford Bridge bosses, leading to an eight-year tenure filled with success. His trophy haul with the Blues includes a league title, a Champions League, Europa League, League Cup, Community Shield and four FA Cups. He's often mentioned in discussions about the greatest left-backs of all time, alongside soccer legends such as Roberto Carlos, Marcelo and Paolo Maldini.
