Yet a new snap has seen the 64-year-old Caribbean Blue hitmaker stepping out from her stunning £98million compound, which she bought in 1997, for a night out.
The vocalist could be seen smiling as she posed for a picture with a bunch of others.
She could be seen donning a black lace top and flowing yellow skirt, accessorising with a silver bracelet.
The chart star, famed for tracks including Orinoco Flow and Only Time, styled her brunette hair poker straight with a wispy fringe.

She kept her make-up fresh as she attended a wedding at Drumhalla House in Donegal on May 16.
Fans were quick to gush over the fresh snap on Reddit, which marked her last public appearance since the Grammy's in 2017.
One wrote: "Glad to see them and Enya doing well."
A second posted: "Omg, I'm so happy to see her finally," as a third put: "Good to see our Enya."

GOING SOLO
Enya's isolated life with her cats has been well-documented.

We previously reported how she also bans herself from listening to other artists' music and once claimed to have never bought an album — to keep her own work as original as possible.
She spends nearly all her waking hours with a much older married couple who for 30 years have helped create her eerie, warbling music.
Songs are painstakingly put together, often overdubbed with vocals more than 500 times.
They are sung in a bizarre mix of languages.

Initially a mixture of English and Gaelic, she now records in Sindarin and Quenya, both created by author JRR Tolkien, and Loxian — which she invented herself with her songwriters.
ENYA'S HISTORY
Eithne Ní Bhraonáin, in Gweedore, Co Donegal, Ireland, she grew up as one of nine siblings.
She was a shy child who loved playing the piano and singing, later explaining how the pandemonium of a large family instilled her lifelong love of being alone and describing silence as a luxury.
At 19 she joined her family's band, Celtic music group Clannad, on synth and backing vocals.

She left two years later, moving into the Dublin home of
Nicky Ryan, 69, the group's producer, and his wife Roma, 61.
Following her acrimonious split from Clannad, the three wrote music together, culminating in her 1987 self-titled debut album. But it was with the release of second LP Watermark the following year that she entered the stratosphere.
Featuring her best-known track, Orinoco Flow (Sail Away), it shifted 11million copies worldwide.
Since then the trio have worked closely on a string of albums which have quietly sold by the bucketload.

She has won four Grammys and got an Oscar nod, for her work on the Lord Of The Rings soundtrack.
The single star previously spoke of her isolated life, music success and juggling love and said: "I am single, yes.
"But as the song suggests, there have been… relationships. It's quite hard to have someone accept that – well, not that they are second to the music, but that I do need a certain amount of space for it."

Galway City Council looking to lease former €8m cinema free of charge
Galway City Coucil have invited proposals for the redevelopment of beloved venue, Pálás. The arthouse cinema and cultural space, which opened in 2017 following a lengthy construction period, announced on social media late last year that they will be closing their doors for the last time at the end of February 2025. The cinema, located in the Galway docks, took to social media to confirm the closure, saying that while they worked hard to avoid the inevitable, they can no longer continue trading due to the rising costs and competition. Pic: Facebook 'It is with deep regret that after seven years of trading, Pálás will be closing its doors at the end of February 2025,' the cinema wrote. 'To many, Pálás is more than just a cinema and we have loved being a part of the community. 'We are so proud of our incredible team, the partnerships we have forged and the loyal audience we have fostered for Irish, arthouse and independent films in Galway. 'We have worked hard to avoid this outcome but the stark reality is rising costs and the oversaturation of the Galway cinema market have made continued trading unviable, and we have taken the difficult decision to withdraw from the business.' An independent commercial review provided three suggested options for the redevelopment of the building: Re-opening of the property as a cultural space featuring one operational cinema with other areas repurposed for community and cultural use. Re-purposing of the property to become more tourism focused with a focus on cultural tourism. Re-configuration of the property to operate as a mix of commercial space generating annual rents combined with allocation of space for community use The Council also says the expression of interest is not limited to these suggestions and invited those looking to apply to share any additional ideas. The property will be available to view on June 18, with interested parties invited to submit their proposals in advance.

Is your little one starting in a Gaelscoil? Here's how to help
Now that the summer has rolled around, many parents are already considering how September will fare for children starting school. If your child is due to start in a Gaelscoil and you're worried about how they will cope, here are some ways to support them before they get to the school gate. Gaelscoileanna in Ireland follow the 'tumoideachas' or immersion education system. Immersion education is a system which helps children to become fluent in Irish naturally, by giving them daily experience of an Irish-speaking environment. This means that all subjects, apart from English, are taught through the medium of Irish right up until 6th class. It also means that Irish is the language of communication in the school, both inside and outside the classroom and in the playground. In this way, children's fluency in the language is supported. Try not to get too caught up in how much Irish is needed, while some children starting in a Gaelscoil might have some Irish from home, plenty are starting afresh most take a second language in their stride. If you'd like to prepare yourself and them for more Gaeilge in their day before they start school, introducing daily activities as Gaeilge is a great place to start. Books There are plenty of brilliant books available in Irish. Many of the books for this age group rely heavily on pictures and therefore, you won't need to be fluent yourself to undertake a bit of scéalaíocht. Introducing a book or two in Irish into the bedtime rotation is an easy win. Futa Fata have a collection of picture-books available to buy and your local library probably does too! Music Listening to songs in Irish is a fun way to get to know how the language sounds. There are a ton of playlists on Spotify to get you started, have a listen to Picnic Teidí or Gugalaí Gug as a gateway to Gaeilge. Cartoons If your child watches cartoons, TG4 has its own tv channel dedicated to children called Cúla4 and it features some gorgeous shows bound to enchant them in any language.
