Water Tank Bursts On Ram Charan's Movie Set, Crew Members Injured Due To Flooding

A major accident took place on the sets of Ram Charan's upcoming movie, The India House, in Hyderabad. Reportedly, a water tank burst on the sets and caused flooding. The incident took place during the filming of an action sequence, which involved a large volume of water.
However, the water tank burst and released thousands of litres of water across the shooting floor. The accident caused a flood-like situation on sets and caused damage to the equipment. Reportedly, an assistant cinematographer and several other crew members have also been injured in the incident.
The injured crew members were taken to the hospital, where they are currently being treated. While it remains unclear if Ram Charan was also on the set at the time of the accident, the shoot of the film has been put on hold for now.
A video of the accident also went viral on social media which showed crew members trying to protect cameras and other essential equipment after flooding on the set. The clip also showed the entire set submerged in water.

Ram Charan's The India House was announced in 2023. Back then, the Telugu superstar shared a teaser of the movie, aptly capturing the pre-independence era in London. If one goes by the theme of the teaser, they should expect a love story set in chaotic times of political upheaval and gripping drama.

The India House also marks Ram Charan's debut as a producer. The film's release date has not been announced as of now.

The Telugu version fared modestly better with an overall 12.40% occupancy, but still showed signs of fatigue in its second week. Morning and evening shows in the Telugu belt saw lower engagement at 11.47% and 11.33%, respectively, while afternoon and night shows stood at 13.20% and 13.59%. Cast of the film 'Thug Life' features Kamal Haasan, , T.R. Silambarasan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan, Nassar, Ali Fazal, and Mahesh Manjrekar.
