The festival kicked off Sunday with the traditional 'chupinazo' firework blast after which revelers doused one another with red or sparkling wine.
While gorings are not rare, many more people are bruised and injured in falls and pileups with each other. Medics rush in to treat the injured and take the seriously hurt to a hospital.
On Monday, Spanish newspaper El País reported that a few revelers had been injured, but it wasn't clear if their injuries were from gorings.
Unofficial records say at least 15 people have died in the bull runs over the past century. The deadliest day on record was July 13, 1980, when four runners were killed by two bulls. The last death was in 2009.

The rest of each day is for eating, drinking, dancing and cultural entertainment, including bull fights where the animals that run in the morning are slain in the bull ring by professional matadors each afternoon.
The festival isn't without its detractors. On Saturday, animal rights activists marched through Pamplona wearing horns and splotched with fake blood in protest against the San Fermin bull runs. Some held up signs saying 'bullfights are a sin.'
The festival was made internationally famous by Ernest Hemingway's classic 1926 novel 'The Sun Also Rises,' about American bohemians wasting away in Europe.

Bridgewater Golf Club in Fort Erie to mark 100 years with exclusive celebration
One hundred years after it was established by a group of American businessmen seeking refuge from Prohibition, Bridgewater Country Club is marking its centennial with a private celebration steeped in nostalgia and history. The invitation-only event, set for July 12, will welcome about 600 to 700 guests, including long-term members who have helped shape the Fort Erie club's legacy. After its establishment in 1925, the 18-hole course officially opened in 1927. The course, originally known as Erie Downs, was designed in 1925 by Canadian golf course architect Stanley Thompson. It hosted the Ontario Open in 1940 won by golf legend Sam Snead, survived multiple ownership changes and sharp membership declines over the years. To help celebrate the club's resilience, guests can expect memorabilia, displays with historic newspaper clippings and trophies dating back to the '20s and '30s, as well as artifacts from the 1950s era of member tournaments. 'It's going to just be a fun time for everybody, and fireworks will be around 10 o'clock,' said D'Amelio. 'It's going to be crazy.' D'Amelio, longtime head pro at Bridgewater , reflected on the milestone. 'I've been here for 45 years as head pro here, which is unheard of to be at a course that long,' he said. 'I've been pretty fortunate to be associated with a place like this and members like ours at the club.' After nearly folding multiple times, Bridgewater was purchased in 2021 under new ownership that revitalized the course with a renewed focus on community and quality. Krispy Kreme celebrates World Chocolate Day July 7 with fan favorite
Krispy Kreme is celebrating World Chocolate Day by bringing back a rarely offered fan favorite. On July 7, Krispy Kreme will be adding limited-edition Chocolate Glazed Doughnuts to the menu for one day only, the company said in a news release. The American doughnut chain said the one-day special will be coated with Hershey's chocolate for the first time ever. "Krispy Kreme is upping its chocolate game on World Chocolate Day, enriching its fan-favorite but rarely offered Chocolate Glazed doughnuts with delicious Hershey's chocolate glaze," the company said in a news release, adding Monday will be the first time since the last World Chocolate Day when Krispy Kreme will offer this product.
