Lazurde Company for Jewelry suffered net losses worth SAR 12.50 million in the first six months (6M) of 2025, against net profits of SAR 32 million in 6M-24. SAB unveils over $544mln cash dividends for H1-25
The board of Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB) approved cash dividends valued at SAR 2.05 billion for 2.05 billion eligible shares, for the first half (H1) of 2025. SAB will disburse a dividend of SAR 1 per share after deduction of Zakat, representing 10% of the share's par value, as per a bourse statement. The eligibility and payment dates will be on 20 August and 4 September 2025, respectively. In the first six months of 2025, SAB reported 4.94% year-on-year (YoY) higher net profits at SAR 4.26 billion, compared to SAR 4.06 billion. Saudi Arabia launches $1.2bln development projects in Tabuk
Saudi authorities have announced the launch of 48 key development projects in the environment, water and agriculture sectors worth SAR4.4 billion ($1.2 billion) in Tabuk region. These include the Tabuk 2 Water Treatment Plant Project being set up at an investment of SAR550 million ($146.4 million) with a design capacity of 90,000 cu m. The foundations stones for these development projects were laid under the patronage of Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Emir of Tabuk Region and in the presence of Eng. Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen AlFadley, the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture. These projects are being financed, developed and constructed by the private sector.
