Trump Thanks Qatari Emir for Peace Efforts Following Attack on U.S. Base in Qatar
Nada Mustafa U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his gratitude to Qatar Emir for his efforts toward peace in the region, stating: 'Congratulations to the world, it's time for peace.' Posting on social media, Trump wrote: "I would like to thank the esteemed Emir of Qatar for all his efforts in promoting peace in the region. Regarding today's attack on the U.S. base in Qatar, I am pleased to inform you that in addition to no American casualties or injuries, most importantly, no Qatari lives were lost or harmed. Thank you for your concern on this matter." In his first statement regarding Iran's missile strike on the Al Udeid U.S. airbase in Qatar, Trump said: "Iran has officially responded to our destruction of its nuclear facilities with a very weak retaliation, exactly as we expected and effectively countered." He added, "A total of 14 missiles were launched; 13 were intercepted, and one missile was allowed to proceed as it was heading in a non-threatening direction. I'm pleased to report that no Americans were harmed, and no significant damage was done. Most importantly, they've gotten everything out of their system, and hopefully there will be no more hatred." "I would like to thank Iran for the early warning, which ensured no loss of life or injuries. Perhaps Iran can now move forward toward peace and harmony in the region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to follow suit. Thank you all for your concern!," he continued. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean
