‘He's In So Much Trouble' - Brock Lesnar 'Banned' From Major Sport
For over 20 years Brock Lesnar has been hailed as one of the most entertaining people in combat sports and professional wrestling. But according to one insider, he won't be getting work in one major sport anytime soon.
Appearing on the MightyCast with Demetrious Johnson, former UFC champion Daniel Cormier revealed that Lesnar is currently banned from professional wrestling everywhere. Cormier said that he could not detail what Lesnar did to get into trouble, but simply stated that he's in "so much trouble."
'Brock is on the banned list right now,' Cormier said. 'Brock got into so much trouble. You know what Brock did. I ain't telling you on air what Brock did. Brock is in so much trouble.'
Many fans and news outlets have speculated that the ban stems from Lesnar being named in the sexual assault and trafficking lawsuit against former WWE top executive Vince McMahon. Some very damning text messages that were allegedly from Lesnar were made public during the initial stages of the suit.
It stands to reason that WWE might treat Lesnar as radioactive while the lawsuit is dealt with given the allegations against him.
The controversy all started early in 2024 when former WWE employee Janel Grant alleged and shared evidence that she had been coerced into a sexual relationship with McMahon and later trafficked to Lesnar and former WWE executive John Laurinaitis between 2020 and 2021.
Lesnar was subsequently removed from all upcoming WWE programming, all promotional materials and has seldom been mentioned by the company in a year-and-a-half.
That said, it really isn't clear how Cormier - who is not a WWE-specific insider - would know whether Lesnar is banned from all of professional wrestling. It's a pretty big umbrella category that goes well beyond WWE or even its immediate rivals here in the United States.
It's probably a good thing that Lesnar has been more focused on his daughter Mya's collegiate athletics career as a shot-put star. Being a supportive father in public and avoiding any headlines of his own can only help him while the legal system does its thing.'He's In So Much Trouble' - Brock Lesnar 'Banned' From Major Sport first appeared on The Spun on Jul 22, 2025

Traffic stop video shows Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger insisting he's ‘honest'
Newly released video from an August 2022 traffic stop shows Bryan Kohberger telling police he's 'obviously an honest person' three months before he brutally murdered four University of Idaho students for reasons that remain unknown. A Latah County sheriff's deputy's body camera captured the mass murderer stating his case after being pulled over while driving 43 mph in a 35 mph zone. When the officer notices Kohberger isn't wearing a seat belt, the busted motorist admits to not having worn one while driving. 'I mean, I'm obviously an honest person, right?' Kohberger says in the footage released Monday. 'I told you I wasn't wearing my seat belt.' The officer tells Kohberger it's his job to enforce seat belt mandates and the two wish each other a good night after he writes Kohberger a $10 citation. According to prosecutors, the traffic stop was made on a night when Kohberger's cellphone pinged off a tower near the Moscow, Idaho, home where he later fatally stabbed Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, Ethan Chapin and Madison Mogen. He's believed to have scouted area while attending nearby Washington State University. Prior to pleading guilty to the murders on July 2, prosecutors had planned to use the video at Kohberger's murder trial to establish that he was driving a white Hyundai Elantra like the one spotted near the murder scene several months later. Kohberger was ordered last week to to serve four consecutive life sentences in prison after agreeing to a plea deal that saved him from the death penalty. _____

Pirates sending 3B Ke'Bryan Hayes to Reds for reliever Rogers, prospect Stafura, AP source says
PITTSBURGH (AP) — The Pittsburgh Pirates are trading Gold Glove-winning third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes to Cincinnati for veteran reliever Taylor Rogers and shortstop prospect Sammy Stafura, a person with knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press on Wednesday. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the trade was not official. The swap gives the Reds an elite defender at the hot corner with a manageable contract. The 28-year-old Hayes, a Gold Glove winner in 2023, has five-plus years left on the extension he signed with Pittsburgh in 2022 and will make $7 million in 2026 and 2027, $8 million in 2028 and 2029 before rising to $12 million in 2030. Hayes, the son of former major leaguer Charlie Hayes and a first-round draft pick by the Pirates in 2015, has struggled to find consistency at the plate since his splashy debut during the final month of the COVID-19-shortened season in 2020. He hit .376 with five homers in 24 games immediately after being called up, numbers that he didn't come close to matching while playing a full 162-game schedule. Hayes is hitting .236 with two home runs and 36 RBIs this season for the Pirates, who sit in last place in the NL Central thanks largely to an offense that ranks near the bottom or at the bottom in the majors in most significant statistical categories. The Pirates have several internal option to replace Hayes in the short-term, including Jared Triolo, who won a Gold Glove as a utility infielder in 2024. Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Pittsburgh's everyday shortstop this season, moved over to third for the Pirates' series-finale against San Francisco on Thursday. Rogers remains an effective left-handed option out of the bullpen at 34. The 10-year veteran, an All-Star with Minnesota in 2021, is 2-2 with a 2.45 ERA in 40 appearances with the Reds this season. Stafura, 20, was a second-round pick by Cincinnati in 2023. He is hitting .262 with four home runs and 48 RBIs in 88 games with Class A Daytona this season. ___ AP MLB:

5 takeaways from Day 5 of Broncos training camp
The Denver Broncos had a special guest at training camp on Wednesday. Emmanuel Sanders, who played for the club from 2014-2019, visited Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit with his son for Day 5 of practice. Sanders, who retired in 2022, played under Sean Payton with the New Orleans Saints in 2020. A two-time Pro Bowler and a Super Bowl 50 champion, Sanders hauled in 704 receptions for 9,245 yards and 51 touchdowns during his 12-year career in the NFL. He also rushed for 202 yards and a score and went 3-of-3 passing for 78 yards and two touchdowns. Sanders ranks 10th on Denver's all-time receiving list with 5,361 yards, and his 28 touchdown catches rank 13th in franchise history. Now, here are five quick takeaways from Wednesday's practice. Broncos training camp takeaways Day 5 1. Broncos injury report: Wide receiver A.T. Perry (ankle; PUP) and linebackers Drew Sanders (foot) and Alex Singleton (thumb) are still sidelined. Additionally, receiver Devaughn Vele and rookie outside linebacker Que Robinson did not practice. Payton did not speak to the media Wednesday, so there's no update on the status of Vele and Robinson. 2. Blake Watson adds intrigue to running back battle: J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey are the obvious top two options in Denver's backfield. Behind them? Good luck trying to guess Payton's depth chart. Audric Estime was just drafted last year, Jaleel McLaughlin was one of the team's most productive RBs last fall and the team has praised Tyler Badie this offseason. Oh, yeah, there's Watson, too! The second-year undrafted RB took a big hit from undrafted rookie linebacker Jordan Turner on Wednesday, but he also drew strong reviews for his day on the ground overall. How many RBs will Denver carry on the 53-man roster? Is there room for Watson? We'll find out in late August. 3. Two young linebackers stepping up: We noted yesterday that Levelle Bailey has impressed with Sanders (foot) and Singleton (thumb) injured. Bailey continues to look sharp, but he's not alone. Jordan Turner, a UDFA out of Michigan State, has also stood out at linebacker. It sounds like the Broncos will have a very interesting linebacker battle during preseason this summer. 4. Trent Sherfield buzz continues to grow: When Denver signed Sherfield this spring, the expectation was that he was primarily brought in for his special teams contributions. The 29-year-old receiver continues to make plays on offense, though, and the hype is growing. 'He's tough, and he can run," Payton said of Sherfield last weekend. "The other thing he can do is block, and so we've always had a handful of receivers that can run and stretch the field and when you get one that can do that and then block also, you can set up play action, marries well to the run game. He's pretty competitive.' After losing Lil'Jordan Humphrey this offseason, the Broncos might have found their replacement in Sherfield. 5. Bo Nix's mobility remains a strength: Nix rushed for 430 yards and four touchdowns on 92 carries last season, averaging 4.7 yards per tote. "It's a strength," Payton said Tuesday when asked about Nix's mobility. "I mentioned this before, when the combine came, he didn't shuttle. He didn't do a number of these drills that I thought he would be exceptional at. Later, he told me he had a turf toe, and it made sense. But when you watched him, you thought, 'This guy is tough to sack.' He won a lot of downs for us last year with his feet." Nix only took 24 sacks last season -- an impressive total for a rookie -- as he proved to be an elusive NFL quarterback. The Broncos will be back on the field tomorrow (Thursday) as they continue camp (view the full schedule). Social: Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X!
