Star with famous parents who worked with Madonna and Meg Ryan wows on red carpet... after Hugh Jackman link

Daily Mail4 hours ago

She is the youngest child of two legendary movie stars: dad worked with Madonna and mom has costarred with Meg Ryan.
Now this beauty has recently begun to follow in their footsteps.
The budding actress studied drama at the Juilliard School in New York City and graduated three years earlier in 2022.
The nepo baby has already garnered experience working alongside A-list celebrities including Hugh Jackman, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Demi Moore and Rose Byrne.
Her father has had a decades-long career in the entertainment industry thus far, and has received a total of 14 Academy Award nominations - winning one.
The star's mother is also a critically-acclaimed actress who has garnered Oscar nominations as well - and began her own career on the stage.
But can you guess who the nepo baby is?
It's Ella Beatty, 25 - the youngest daughter of Warren Beatty and Annette Bening.
The budding star made a glamorous appearance at the star-studded 78th Annual Tony Awards over the weekend on Sunday in NYC.
She wore a pair of black, loose-fitting trousers as well as a black, halter-styled knit top with sheer fabric on the bottom.
Ella - who officially made her Broadway debut in the play Appropriate last year - completed the look by also adding opera-length, black satin gloves.
Her long locks were parted to the side, and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in elegant waves.
Beatty opted for minimal accessories to allow her ensemble to be the main focal point, and added silver earrings as well as flashy bracelets on her left wrist.
A light pink blush was added to her cheekbones for a radiant glow, while a peach-colored tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.
While posing for a brief photo session on the red carpet, Ella crossed paths with fellow actress Sarah Paulson - and the pair also took memorable snaps together.

Beatty and Paulson recently worked together on the play Appropriate last year when Ella replaced Elle Fanning's role when she left the production to film A Complete Unknown.
The 25-year-old made her screen debut in Ryan Murphy's FX anthology series Feud: Capote vs. The Swans (2024).
In the show, Ella took on the role of Truman Capote's surrogate daughter Kerry O'Shea.
The series had an A-list cast including Naomi Watts, Demi Moore, Diane Lane, Chloe Sevigny, Calista Flockhart, Molly Ringwald and Tom Hollander.
Beatty also portrayed the character of Regina Engstrand in Henrik Ibsen's Off-Broadway play Ghosts in New York City at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.
She also made her film debut in the A24 project If I Had Legs I'd Kick You - which premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival back in January.
Ella had the chance to work alongside other stars in the drama, such as Rose Byrne, Conan O'Brien and A$AP Rocky.
Most recently, the Juilliard alum has been starring alongside Hugh Jackman in the play Sexual Misconduct Of The Middle Classes - with the production coming to an end on June 18.
While recently talking to Interview Magazine this month alongside Sarah Paulson - Ella reflected on working with Jackman.
'There is nobody less movie starry in the world than Hugh Jackman. He's the most generous, loving, open, kind, hardworking person.'
She later admitted to being 'intimidated' at first 'but when we sat down to do the first reading of the play in the fall, it was so animated immediately that it became about the play very quickly. We felt like we needed to do it.'
When Beatty took over Elle Fanning's part in the play Appropriate - Paulson revealed that she did not know who Ella's parents were.
'First of all, I had no idea who your parents were. My interest in you, my estimation of you as a performer, had nothing to do with that,' Sarah said.
When Beatty took over Elle Fanning's part in the play Appropriate - Paulson revealed that she did not know who Ella's parents were; Bening and Beatty seen in 1992 in Hollywood
'Your father was a great movie star, but in terms of the current knowledge that some young people have today, your name might not be synonymous immediately with one of the most important actors and directors to ever walk the planet.'
The American Horror Story actress added, 'If your last name were Bening, it might be a little bit different.
'But it's not, so I didn't know you came from these formidable performers and I was assessing you entirely on your own merit...'
And during an interview with The Bare Magazine a few months earlier in March, Ella talked about the qualities she wishes to take from her famous parents.
'I hope some of my parents extraordinary virtues have rubbed off on me, I'd be very lucky!'
She added, 'I certainly take notes from the way they show up in the world, which is with respect and empathy towards everybody.'
Her father Warren Beatty has appeared in a number of movies, such as Splendor In The Grass (1961) alongside Natalie Wood.
The actor also took on roles in other critically-acclaimed films including Bonnie And Clyde (1967), Heaven Can Wait (1978) and Bugsy (1991).
He later married Annette Benning in 1992 and along with Ella, they are parents to three other children.
Bening began her career on the stage before starring in films such as The Grifters (1990), The American President (1995), American Beauty (1999) and Nyad (2023).

Poker Face – Season 2 Episode 7 'One Last Job' Recap & Review

Episode 7 The Murder Episode 7 of Poker Face Season 2 begins in a SuperSave store where we are introduced to Kendall, an employee who is good friends with his boss, Bill. Bill has just read Kendall's latest action movie script titled One Last Job. He tells Kendall he really ought to go to LA and give his talent a real shot but Kendall says he isn't ready yet. Unfortunately, Bill has also been ordered to let some personnel go and he fires Kendall, hoping this will give him the push to pursue his dreams. However, Kendall isn't happy about this and, in his anger, even helps a shoplifter named Juice. As a thank you, Juice buys Kendall a few drinks. Kendall mentions the heist story in his script and how it's based on the SuperSave where he works. Juice thinks it's a great idea, not just as a script but for an actual heist. After all, Kendall needs money if he wants to go to Hollywood. Kendall is soon convinced. They make a plan to rob the store in the half hour between the cleaning crew's exit and the arrival of the armoured truck which transports the cash. They use a Polaroid photo to block the security camera in the vault room. Kendall then uses a UV light to see Bill's fingerprints on the vault's keypad (his fingerprints show up thanks to the canola oil on the crisps he likes to eat). While Kendall is trying different combinations, Juice hears a noise and goes to check it out. Inside the vault, Kendall finds a lot more than 200k and bags it all. He even keeps a part of it in his own employee locker. However, Kendall then finds himself face to face with none other than Bill. He's in pyjamas and seems to be sleeping here. He recognises Kendall even in the mask but before Kendall can explain, Juice shoots him dead. He says he'll take care of the body, leaving Kendall shocked. The Investigation We skip to a few days before the heist when Charlie is working for an Indian restaurant. She delivers food to Bill and the two flirt with each other. The night before his birthday (the day of the heist), Bill asks Charlie out for dinner. Jenny, Charlie's co-worker, is a rom-com fan and gives her some tips. On her advice, Charlie approaches Kendall and asks what Bill would like as a gift. He suggests she get something related to Bill's bike. Charlie turns up for the date and gifts Bill a guardian bell for his bike. Bill loves it! He takes her for dinner inside the SuperSave, where he's arranged a romantic dinner set up. He admits he's been living out of his office and the security cameras are on loop. He also shows Charlie a button that can call the cops in five minutes. The conversation moves to Kendall and Bill says he hopes getting fired will push Kendall to go to Hollywood. The two spend the night together and have a lovely time. At the end of the night, he tells Charlie he wants to see her again and she seems optimistic about it. However, when Charlie finally gets a call to deliver food at the SuperSave the next day, she finds the place swarming with cops who are investigating the break-in. A news reporter tells a camera that about $400,000 was stolen. Kendall, meanwhile, tries to get to his employee locker to get the money but he isn't allowed. Charlie looks through the store and eventually finds Bill's body, hidden in plain sight as a mannequin of Santa Claus. The cops believe this was a heist gone wrong but Charlie tries to explain that Bill loved this store and would never rob it. When they tell her about the Polaroid gimmick, taken from Mission: Impossible III, Charlie begins to suspect Kendall. Kendall goes back home only to be confronted by Juice, who watched the news and found out that there was more money in the safe and Kendall cheated him. They fight and Kendall ends up stabbing Juice with one of his collectible swords. That night, Charlie sneaks into the room with the employee lockers and breaks into Kendall's locker. She finds the bag of money and realises everything, only to see Kendall himself pointing a gun at her. He's leading her out of the store when she reveals she's pressed the button that calls the police. They are also interrupted by Juice, sword and all, who attacks both of them with a machine gun. A chase ensues in the store until Juice finally collapses. And just as Kendall is making it to the door, the police arrive and he puts his hands up. The Episode Review If you're a movie fanatic, you will probably love Poker Face Season 2 Episode 7. The episode is chock-full of movie references, not just in the dialogue or Kendall's obsession with heist movies but also through the details in the plot. Such as Charlie's use of TV screens to get the better of Juice, Kendall's final scene with the flying cash, and more. It's all incredibly well executed, in a polished way that ties into the story, and even with the right amount of tongue-in-cheek — Charlie boldly proclaims they aren't in an action movie just before Juice makes his grand machine gun entry. As a result of the focus on movies and references, though, we don't get as much insight into Kendall as a person, the way we generally do with other characters who open the episode. We also don't see much of Charlie's lie detection here. Although it was pretty nice to see her play her part in a rom-com for a little bit, there! On the whole, though, if you aren't that familiar with these easter eggs and references, the episode could feel a tad lacklustre. Delta passenger's viral video ignites debate over how parents should handle screaming babies on planes

A Delta passenger has sparked a viral debate about an age-old traveling question: How do you handle a crying baby on a plane? A Barstool Sports contributor, Pat McAuliffe, shared a video on X on Saturday of himself sitting on a plane, while a baby could be heard crying off-camera. He went on to roll his eyes and stare blankly at the camera, visibly annoyed by the screaming baby on his flight. In the caption, McAuliffe shared his candid thoughts about how the parents should have soothed the baby. 'If your child is screaming on a flight (that's late with no AC and hasn't taken off yet @Delta) show it a f***ing phone,' he wrote in his post, which has more than 15 million views. 'Brain rot the baby on TikTok until it's quiet. Is that too much to ask?' In a follow-up video of himself on the flight, as the baby was still crying, McAuliffe clarified his initial comments about how parents care for their babies on a plane. 'I do feel bad for the parents but at some point you gotta try something new. Walk his ass up and down the aisle, distract him, do something. It's still going on. Simply praying it'll stop is not acceptable,' he added. He then questioned at what point the baby's screaming 'becomes a medical emergency,' since the child was 'crying for two hours.' 'Also why are these people not at least talking to their kid to soothe him? STAND UP AND WALK HIM AROUND,' McAuliffe concluded. Many people, including parents, criticized McAuliffe's harsh response to the crying child. 'As a parent of three, shut the f*** up and put your headphones and enjoy the flight. That parents is in absolute hell,' one wrote. 'Is it too much to ask to buy proper noise-cancelling headphones..?' another added. 'I can guarantee you that the parent is stressing out way more than you flying by yourself with ear buds in. Grow up,' a third responded. Others went on to urge McAuliffe to react to the situation differently, with one writing: 'Bro, if this is the worst thing in your life, consider yourself lucky. Man up and see if the mom is okay and if she needs anything. She is probably trying her best.' However, some people instead claimed the parents on the flight should have soothed their crying baby on the flight. They also shared some of the bad experiences they've had with loud babies on a plane. 'I agree. This is the parents' fault. I have two and we can entertain our babies on the plane,' one responded. 'If the babies cry you are failing as a parent. Plain and simple. Get creative.' 'This happened to us, and while I'm fine with crying babies, it went on for three hours with the parents doing nothing, seemingly immune to their baby's screams,' another wrote. 'A responsible parent would consult a pediatrician before the flight for tips on making a baby comfortable with flying.' 'It's awful. This just happened to us recently. Sat in business, the flight was pretty empty,' a third wrote. 'No one behind or in front of us. Suddenly, flight attendants placed a family with two wild kids right behind us. Screaming, crying, kicking, and slapping the trays non-stop. Absolute torture.' Last year, a mother named Jess also sparked a debate when she shared a video of her baby crying on a three-hour plane. She admitted she became 'progressively more and more defeated' on the journey. However, she wanted to share the video to let other mothers know it's not their fault if they can't stop their baby from crying for long periods of time. Spaulding's post quickly sparked debate on TikTok, with commenters divided between users who said the situation was their 'nightmare as a passenger' and others who empathized with the mother.
