File formats are JPG and PNG, and we'll provide images in both landscape and portrait modes, so they'll be optimized for various screens.

Another week, another set of awesome Android wallpapers for you to share! Remember that we are always looking for submissions from our readers. Head to the bottom of this article to find out how you could have one of your images featured in an upcoming Wallpaper Wednesday!
With that in mind, we've got six awesome images from our readers that would look great on your phone, tablet, or PC. As usual, we also have three images from the Android Authority team.
First, we have the perfect photo for you gamers out there: a macro shot of the left trigger and bumper of an Xbox controller. That one comes from reader Adoss! Next, we have some pretty purple flowers from reader Hardik P. After that, we have a very wide shot of some farm land in India from reader Akhi. Next, we have an amazing, almost unreal shot of a rose with some raindrops on it. That comes from reader Cristina Constantinescu who used a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra for the capture! After that, we have a great pic of a heron in Brazil from reader Paulo Roberto Freitas Da Silva. Finally, we have an incredible photo of a palm leaf from reader Anurag Halder. Anurag shot that with a Samsung Galaxy A55 (with some post-processing in Adobe Lightroom). Thanks so much for your submissions, all!

In 2020, when the world was slowing down, a new-age electric mobility brand from Pune quietly picked up speed. What began as a pivot during the pandemic, selling high-end e-bikes locally after a shipment for the UK got stuck, has now grown into one of India's fastest-scaling E-Bike startups. Emotorad, co-founded by Kunal Gupta, Rajib Gangopadhyay, Aditya Oza, and Sumedh Batteward. Today commands a 70 per cent share of India's electric bicycle market and exports to 18 countries across the globe. Before Emotorad, Gupta had already built and exited his first startup, MyRide, a bike rental company for college students. That venture led him to co-found and run operations at OnBike, a Zoomcar-style service for two-wheelers that scaled to over 14,000 vehicles across 11 cities. "We learned a lot about how tier 3 and tier 4 Indians were migrating to cities and earning livelihoods through mobility platforms," he recalls. At the core of Emotorad's success lies its commitment to in house innovation. The company designs and manufactures key components of its EV powertrains including batteries, motors, char gers, displays, and the software that makes them work together. "We've filed over 11 patents across our powertrain technologies. The systems we've built are 18–20 per cent more efficient than the market average," Gupta says. This vertical integration, Gupta believes, is what makes their products stand apart. "It's not just about one better battery or frame. It's the entire mechanical design, ergonomics, and software that make our bikes superior," he says. Products like the Doodle have be come category-defining, drawing attention both domestically and overseas. While electric cars and scoot ers often grab headlines, e-bikes remain an underappreciated part of the EV narrative in India. Gupta says one major hurdle is the public misconception that e-bikes are "cheating" fitness. "In fact, our data shows that e-bike users travel 3 to 4 times more than regular cyclists. That's more exercise, not less. Plus, you can track calories and make your ride part of a healthy routine," he points out. Despite 2.5 lakh units sold, many Indian consumers still don't know that high-quality e-bikes are made and used right here. "In the West, e-bikes outsell scooters and motorcycles. We're trying to create that same mindset here," says Gupta. Today, EM exports to 18 countries including the US, UK, Australia, Japan, and UAE. Gupta believes this is just the beginning. Gupta says the company may raise capital again in the next 12–18 months.

McDonald's plans AI expansion to streamline customer orders, executive says
McDonald's is ramping up its use of artificial intelligence to streamline customer orders and sharpen its business operations, with plans to "double down" on AI investments by 2027, a senior executive said on Friday, according to Reuters. The fast-food giant currently uses AI to verify orders at 400 restaurants in India, allowing the chain to catch and correct errors before food is handed to customers, according to the outlet. McDonald's is planning to roll out the new system globally in two years, Head of Global Business Services Operations Deshant Kaila said, Reuters reported. "We're still in the early stages, so it's hard to pin down the exact investment," Kaila said during an event in the southern city of Hyderabad, India. Beyond order accuracy, McDonald's is leveraging AI to forecast sales, determine pricing strategies, and evaluate product performance, Reuters reported, adding that the company is also developing a personalized mobile app that will function across multiple countries. Verizon () , the largest mobile network in the U.S., is continuing to see large numbers of customers cut the cord on phone service, despite recent efforts to keep them from leaving. In its latest earnings report, Verizon revealed that while it added about 300,000 new phone and internet customers during the second quarter of 2025, its wireless postpaid phone churn (the number of customers who ended phone service) remained at 0.9%, compared to the previous quarter. 💵💰Don't miss the move: Subscribe to TheStreet's free daily newsletter 💰💵 The continued loss of customers comes after Verizon hiked the monthly rates for myPlan and New Verizon Plan accounts in also increased the monthly price of its Verizon Mobile Protect Multi-Device plan and Verizon Mobile Secure Multi-Device plan by $8 in March. To win back customers frustrated with price hikes, Verizon announced a new three-year price lock guarantee earlier this year. It also reportedly began offering select customers free phone lines in March, and last month, it announced a new bundle in which customers with a myPlan mobile account can obtain a smartphone, tablet, and smartwatch when they trade in an eligible phone. Verizon CEO sounds alarm on the source of the problem During an earnings call on July 21, Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg said that elevated promotional activity from competitors and other factors contributed to the continued loss of customers. 'The wireless market remains competitive, and we continue to take a strategic approach,' said Vestberg. 'As expected, postpaid churn remained elevated this quarter, reflecting the lingering effects of our pricing actions and ongoing pressure from federal government accounts.' Verizon's top competitors, such as T-Mobile and AT&T have recently been ramping up generous perks and trade-in offers to attract new customers. For example, earlier this month, T-Mobile began offering customers a free DoorDash subscription (DashPass) through its T-Life app. Last month, AT&T introduced a new low-priced phone plan for customers who are 55 years old and up. Verizon bets big on major changes to lure back customers During the call, Verizon Chief Financial Officer Tony Skiadas emphasized that the company is doubling down on improving its customers' 'loyalty and retention' by providing them with more personalized support and value. 'We have taken a series of actions to address our elevated churn,' said Skiadas. 'On June 24th, we launched initiatives designed to improve the customer experience, including leveraging AI for more personalized support. In addition, we continue to enhance our value proposition and build customer loyalty through the best value guarantee. We provide exclusive access to the best events and experiences, and our Refresh app helps customers maximize the value of their plans.'Vesterg said Verizon's recent decision to use artificial intelligence for customer support and extend its customer service hours to 24/7 allows its employees to follow a request or complaint from customers 'all the way,' addressing a major pain point. He also said that since 93% of the U.S. population is less than 30 minutes away from a Verizon store, the company will also focus on leveraging its locations to provide more support and help to customers. 'We leverage all the assets and all our employees to see that we're treating our customer better,' said Vestberg. 'And I think it's an area we can excel in.' Verizon faces an unexpected new threat The increased focus on customer loyalty and retention comes as Verizon and other phone carriers face increased competition from cable companies, which have surprisingly generated an increased number of phone customers this year. Cable giants have recently been offering customers bundle options on TV, mobile, and internet, allowing them to save money on these services.
