International challenger Danon Decile enjoys gallops spin
He had his first canter up the famous Warren Hill in the company of trainer Shogo Yasuda, who is pleased by how his charge has settled into his new surroundings and also has no concerns about reverting to a mile and a quarter after his Group One strike over further in Dubai.
Yasuda said: 'We did travel very well, so we're very satisfied.
'My training plan between the two weeks from here to York, the main thing is to take care of his mind – make him happy.
'I'm not concerned for the shorter distance. I believe he's got a lot of experience from racing. I'm not worried about the drop in distance. He can adjust pace.'
Danon Decile is a five-time winner who will arrive at the Knavesmire in search of a hat-trick in the £1.25milllion feature of the Ebor Festival's opening day after his Meydan win followed a valuable triumph in his homeland.
The four-year-old is as short as 4-1 with some bookmakers to scoop the prestigious Group One and he will be the second Japanese challenger in as many years to venture to Yorkshire after Durezza finished fifth in a race recognised as officially the best in the world 12 months ago.

Speaking about the impact the abuse had on her, Jess added: "It makes you feel really small. It makes you feel like you're not important, that you're not valuable. "It makes you second guess everything that you do - it's not a nice place to be. It doesn't make me feel confident going back on to the pitch. My family was so devastated by it as well and so sad." The FA, UEFA, Lioness boss Sarina Wiegman and the squad all slammed the abuse Jess faced as abhorrent. It prompted a move by the furious players to stop taking the knee - a symbolic movement against racism where footballers have knelt on the pitch in the seconds before a match kicks off. It was started by former American Football quarterback Colin Kaepernick in 2016, but took off among English players following the racially aggravated death of George Floyd in 2020. Lioness Alex Greenwood said yesterday (Tuesday) that 'more needs to be done' to stop racist abuse in football, as she blasted it as 'unacceptable'. A former two-division champion - who retired in 2017 - has surprisingly called for a fight with the British heavyweight star at Wembley Stadium Anthony Joshua seems willing to take on retired boxing legend Andre Ward, as long as the price is right. Ward, a former two-division champion, hung up his gloves in 2017, but it appears he is itching to get back into the ring. A potential showdown with Joshua is the only fight that could tempt the 41-year-old out of retirement. At the height of his career, the American was considered one of the world's top fighters. He quickly became one of the top pound-for-pound stars, securing victories over big names like Carl Froch, Sergey Kovalev and Mikkel Kessler. After retiring in 2017, Ward left the sport having won gold in both the super-middleweight and light-heavyweight divisions. Now, eight years after his retirement announcement, the former Olympic gold medallist has set his sights on Joshua. "There's one name that I brought up before that when you say that name I can see myself fighting him. Present day. Today. If the business was right and everything was right on that front, me and Anthony Joshua," he declared, reports All Out Fighting. "That's a fight that I would take at Wembley Stadium. It's a dangerous fight for my legacy, it's a dangerous fight across the board. But that's a fight that would get me in the gym and get me in the mindset that I need to be in to go to war.
