Rayzon Solar to file draft papers for Rs 1,500-cr IPO
ADVERTISEMENT The Surat-based company has already roped in top investment banks to manage the public offering.
According to the people familiar with the plan, the company is looking to raise funds through fresh issuance of equity shares and proceeds are expected to be used for for its expansion plans.
An email to Rayzon Solar seeking confirmation of the draft papers filing and IPO details did not elicit a response.
The company is considering to enter the public market at a time when the domestic solar manufacturing industry is gaining traction, driven by import curbs, and rising global interest in non-China supply chains.
Founded in 2017, Rayzon Solar has emerged as one of the fastest-growing solar PV module manufacturers in the country. As per its website, the company has grown from an initial installed module manufacturing capacity of just 40 MW to 6,000 MW, across two facilities in Karanj and Sava, Gujarat, and is likely to expand further.
In March, the company raised around Rs 138 crore through private placement of equity shares. PTI

'This is proposed to be a sustainable exercise which would be fiscally manageable for both the Centre and states,' a senior government official told ET. The Centre has sent a proposal to the group of ministers set up by the GST Council on the matter, suggesting that the 12% and 28% slabs be scrapped, leaving only two significant rates — 5% and 18%.The Centre expects the loss of GST revenue because of lower rates to be made up through greater official said the Centre is an equal partner in GST. 'What the Centre earns through taxes is also shared with states through devolution,' the official said. 'The Finance Commission is there to look at any impact… but the revenue impact would be manageable.'It is not Centre versus the states in the council, the official revenue-neutral rate — the rate of tax at which there is no loss of revenue — is currently at about 11.5% and is likely to fall further.'Rate reduction mathematically can bring down revenue, but this exercise needs to be seen from its wider and deep economic impact that will lift consumption and growth and in turn revenues,' the official FY26 budget pegged gross GST revenue at Rs 11.8 lakh crore, a near 11% increase from FY25. Collections were 10.7% up at Rs 8.2 lakh crore in the April-July period from a year earlier. The Centre has budgeted a fiscal deficit of 4.4% of GDP in FY26 compared with 4.8% in FY25.

PM to inaugurate 2 NH projects of Delhi-NCR today
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate two national highway projects of Delhi-NCR worth nearly Rs 11,000 crore on Sunday, which will ease traffic on the national capital's Inner and Outer Ring Roads as well as at busy points such as Mukarba Chowk, Dhaula Kuan and NH-9. The projects — the Delhi section of Dwarka Expressway and the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) — have been developed under the govt's comprehensive plan to decongest the national capital, aimed at improving connectivity, cutting travel time and reducing traffic in Delhi and its surrounding areas. Chief minister Rekha Gupta, along with senior party functionaries, visited the inauguration site on Saturday and its surroundings to review the preparations and issued necessary instructions. Sri City emerges as country's AC manufacturing hub
1 2 Vijayawada: Sri City, an integrated special economic zone (SEZ) in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh , has earned the nickname of 'Cooling City' of the country, as every major AC brand in India now has a manufacturing facility there. LG Electronics is the latest addition to Sri City and will start production soon. Not only are there new additions, many of the existing units in Sri City are on an expansion spree, making it the country's AC manufacturing hub. Nearly half of the country's AC units are now manufactured in Sri City. Once the capacity addition in existing units is completed and new players start production, the integrated SEZ will manufacture 60% of the country's total AC production and 80% of the exports. As of now, Sri City is home to seven AC manufacturers and 17 AC suppliers. A complete manufacturing ecosystem has been created in the SEZ, as the component manufacturers are also making a beeline along with the original equipment makers. Initially, it was projected that 45% of total ACs produced in India would be made in Sri City by 2027, but according to revised estimates, the total production is likely to reach 60%.
