Gwyneth Paltrow's Love Life is Hollywood History

Yahoo15 hours ago
Gwyneth Paltrow has long been an it girl: It girl of the '90s, it girl of health and wellness, and now, even her daughter is following in her footsteps, having shined last year as the it girl of the Les Bals de Debutantes in Paris. She's starred in some of our favorite films, has been a part of some of our favorite pop culture moments, and has been romantically linked to some of the most famous faces in Hollywood. Here, a look at the relationship history of Gwyneth Paltrow.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Sean Leonard (1994)
Though a brief romance, nothing says 90s like Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Sean Leonard, who was on the rise thanks to his lead role in 1989's Dead Poets Society. The actor has spoken briefly about Paltrow and his romance with the actress over the years, but only with fondness for both her and her career.
'I remember watching Gwyneth Paltrow deliver her Oscar acceptance speech in floods of tears,' he told Metro back in 2013 about his discomfort at major industry events of the sort. 'My God, how open. The poor girl was just so intimate with these unnamed millions of people.'
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt (1994—1997)
Talk about a '90s supercouple! This couple was linked for quite some time, and Brad even got down on one knee before they called it quits. Since their 90s romance, Paltrow has opened up about their love story, telling Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast back in 2023, "There were a number of things that had happened, he was nine years older than me so he was far more…he knew what he wanted, he was ready to do it and I was kind of all over the place, so it was really one of those difficult things, where I felt like, 'Oh my God, not only am I not ready, I'm not living up to the standards again.' It was a familiar refrain I felt about myself."
Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Affleck (1997—2000)
Another 90s supercouple was Paltrow and Ben Affleck, who was a major Hollywood player at the time thanks to his Good Will Hunting (1997) success. The actress, however, revealed that though her parents loved him, they accepted things once the two called it quits. 'I think they appreciated how he's super intelligent, and he's really talented and funny, but he wasn't in a good place in his life to have a girlfriend,' the actress revealed of their romance to Howard Stern in 2015. 'They loved him, but they were okay with us not being together.'
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin (married from 2003—2014)
Perhaps Paltrow's most notable relationship was that with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with whom she shares her two children, Apple and Moses. 'We were close, though we had never fully settled into being a couple. We just didn't quite fit together. There was always a bit of unease and unrest. But man, did we love our children,' Paltrow wrote in an essay for British Vogue. 'Between the day that I knew and the day we finally relented to the truth, we tried everything. We did not want to fail. We didn't want to let anyone down. We desperately didn't want to hurt our children. We didn't want to lose our family.' Today, Paltrow and Martin enjoy a harmonious co-parent relationship since their divorce.
Brad Falchuck (married 2018—present)
Paltrow tied the knot with TV producer Brad Falchuk in 2018 after meeting back in 2014, and since then, the couple has enjoyed a happy and loving relationship. 'He has things that were reminiscent of my dad. It's like blue-eyed, Jewish, TV writer, with a heart of gold and a great sense of humor,' Paltrow told PEOPLE in 2023. 'I finally chose my dad.'

Jennifer Aniston Talks ‘Love Triangle' With Ex Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Reveals How She Coped

Jennifer Aniston is opening up like never before as she makes the rounds to promote season 4 of Apple TV+'s The Morning Show. The Friends alum, 56, briefly touched on her high-profile split with Pitt, 61 — who she married in 2000 — during an interview with Vanity Fair, published on August 11. In the early naughts, the pair were Hollywood's most beloved A-list couple — before Aniston filed for divorce after nearly five years of marriage in January 2005. Four months after the split, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor was photographed in Kenya with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie and her son, Maddox, which all but confirmed rumors of the two being involved romantically. 'Just pick yourself up by the bootstraps and keep on walking, girl,' Aniston recalled of how she survived that time in her life, defining it as 'the love triangle.' 'We're human beings, even though some people don't want to believe we are,' she added of dealing with the media coverage surrounding Pitt and Jolie's romance on the heels of her divorce. 'They think, You signed up for it, so you take it. But we really didn't sign up for that.' Aniston also admitted she took the public fallout 'personally.' In the same interview, Aniston also dished on shooting her 2005 Vanity Fair cover for a story titled 'The Unsinkable Jennifer Aniston,' which she remembers was 'jarring' and 'such a vulnerable time,' as it was published months after Pitt and Jolie, 50, were confirmed to be together. Aniston — who was also married to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018 — has found love again: As Star previously reported, she is currently dating hypnotist Jim Curtis. 'Jen feels like she's finally found someone who really checks all the boxes,' a source told Star earlier this month. 'She's very happy.' Solve the daily Crossword

When Will 'Wednesday' Season 2. Part 2 Premiere?

Wednesday and the rest of the Addams Family are back. You probably know this already. That's why you're here. Season 2 premiered its first half last week to the delight of fans everywhere. It's been a three-year wait, and the return of Netflix's record-breaking series is worth some celebration. You hear that sound? That's me snapping my fingers in approval. Creators Miles Millar and Alfred Gough previously teased that season 2 will be darker in tone. This new run of episodes "definitely has some moments which are more straightforward horror," Millar told EW. Praise be. Jenna Ortega is back as the titular hero, along with returning cast members Isaac Ordonez, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Emma Myers and Victor Dorobantu as Thing. Newcomers to the show include Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump, Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort, Nevermore Academy's new principal, and Lady Gaga as Rosaline Rotwood, a mysterious teacher at Nevermore. The Grammy-winning artist delivered an epic live performance to close out this year's Tudum fan event for Netflix. I was there, and it was rather life-affirming. This ain't hyperbole. Now, rumor has it that Gaga will release a new song, titled Dead Dance, timed to her appearance on the series. If you needed an extra reason to tune into these new episodes, there you go.
