Argentina lead the way from European champions Spain and France in an unchanged top three, with England and Brazil following.
Portugal rose past the Netherlands into sixth by virtue of their Nations League title, with Belgium, Germany and Croatia completing the top 10. Germany and Croatia both rose at the expense of Italy who slipped from ninth to 11th.
Elsewhere in the rankings, Costa Rica were the biggest riser as they gained 14 places to 40th, thanks to a Gold Cup quarter-final berth. Tournament winners Mexico rose four into 13th.

GENEVA: England defender Lucy Bronze revealed that she had been playing the 2025 UEFA Women's European Championship with a broken leg after helping her side retain the title on Sunday night following a nail-biting penalty shootout win against Spain. The 33-year-old played 598 minutes in the tournament, and will be remembered for slamming home the decisive penalty in the quarterfinal win against Sweden after she had got her team back into the game with a 79th-minute goal, with England two goals down and seemingly heading out. That game also saw her tightly pulling strapping around her upper thigh during a break in play in the closing minutes, but she was still able to play in the semifinal win over Italy. Bronze also played 105 minutes of Sunday's final before suffering a knee injury that forced her off in tears. After Chloe Kelly scored the decisive goal in the shootout, Bronze made a shock admission that she had been playing with a broken leg. "I actually played the whole tournament with a fractured tibia, but no one knew," said Bronze in a post-game interview. "That is why I got a lot of praise from the girls after the Sweden game because I have been in a lot of pain," she continued, showing her incredible commitment. "If that's what it takes to play for England, that's what I'll do - they know that. We inspire each other by playing through things like that and it got us to the end," said Bronze. England coach Sarina Wiegman confirmed Bronze had played with a broken bone.

Nat Sciver-Brunt regains top spot in ODI rankings after India series
Dubai : A change at the top of the ODI batter rankings, with England's Nat Sciver-Brunt being rewarded for her good form against India, as she reclaimed the No 1 position, according to the official website of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Sciver-Brunt returned to the top ranking for the first time in 2025 on the back of a series-high 160 runs across three matches on home soil against India, with her innings of 98 in the final match of the series a clear standout. The England skipper just missed out on a 10th ODI century in the contest as India wrapped up a 2-1 series triumph over her side at Chester-le-Street but regained the No 1 ranking as a result of the 105-ball knock in the unsuccessful run chase. It is the first time Sciver-Brunt has held the top ranking in 2025, with the 32-year-old having first reached the No 1 spot for ODI batters in July 2023 and then remained inside the top five behind the likes of South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt and India's Smriti Mandhana in recent times. Mandhana drops one spot to second after totalling 115 runs across the three matches against England, while India teammates Harmanpreet Kaur (up 10 spots to 11th) and Jemimah Rodrigues (up two places to 13th) make some ground following some decent efforts during the series. There is also some movement for a host of Ireland players following the first two matches of their ODI series at home against Zimbabwe, with star all-rounder Orla Prendergast leading the way in all three rankings categories. Prendergast gains 12 spots to move to equal 22nd on the list for ODI batters after an unbeaten 67 in the second match of the series in Belfast, while she also rises 10 places to jump to 33rd on the rankings for ODI bowlers following a tidy spell in that same contest against Zimbabwe. Ireland teammate Arlene Kelly (up four spots to equal 30th) makes some gains for ODI bowlers following a two-wicket haul in the series opener with Zimbabwe, with England spinner Sophie Ecclestone and Australia all-rounder Ash Gardner remaining in the top two places on the rankings for ODI bowlers. Prendergast also makes up three rungs to move to 10th on the list for ODI all-rounders that is headed by Gardner, while Ireland skipper Gaby Lewis jumps four spots to 14th on the list for T20I batters following a pair of half-centuries against Zimbabwe in Dublin. Basel: History repeated itself in the most thrilling fashion as Chloe Kelly once again became England's star, guiding the Lionesses to Euro 2025 glory with the decisive spot-kick in a tense 3-1 penalty shootout win over Spain in the final. The match, played in Basel, ended 1-1 after extra time, before England held their nerve in the shootout to successfully defend their title, according to Sky Sports. It wasn't an easy ride for the Lionesses, who took the long route to the trophy yet again. After battling through extra time in all three knockout games, and going to penalties for the second time in the tournament, England showed tremendous grit and belief to come out on top. Once more, it was Chloe Kelly who delivered when it mattered most. Just like she did at Wembley in 2022 against Germany, Kelly calmly stepped up and slotted the winning penalty this time with her now-signature run-up, sealing a memorable night for England. Kelly had come on in the 40th minute, replacing Lauren James, who appeared to be struggling after picking up a knock in the semi-final against Italy. Mariona Caldentey had put Spain ahead in the 25th minute, heading in Ona Batlle's pinpoint cross. The Lionesses, just before the hour mark, Kelly made an impact, this time as the provider. Her perfectly measured cross found Alessia Russo, who made no mistake, heading home the equaliser to bring England back into the contest. Hannah Hampton, who has been a pillar of strength throughout the tournament, produced yet another outstanding performance. Her crucial save against Claudia Pina at a tight angle kept England level in the second half, and she carried that momentum into the shootout. Drama unfolded from the very first penalty of the shootout. England's Beth Mead converted her attempt initially, but had to retake it after a rare double-touch. Her second effort was saved. Patri Guijarro gave Spain an early edge, but it was short-lived. Hampton came up big once again, saving penalties from Mariona Caldentey and Aitana Bonmati, while Paralluelo fired her effort wide.
