Sophie Cunningham isn't going to back down from a fight, that's for sure.
On Tuesday night, Connecticut Sun guard Jacy Sheldon received a flagrant foul for poking Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark in the eye. That eventually led to Marina Mabrey pushing Clark to the ground.

It wasn't until the final minute of regulation that Cunningham retaliated with a hard foul of her own. The veteran guard legitimately pulled Sheldon down to the floor during a fast break. That foul resulted in a near brawl between Cunningham and Sheldon. When the dust settled, the referees ejected both of them from the game.
"When you are winning a game by 17 points and you doing this stupid foul, this is just disrespectful," Connecticut head coach Rachid Meziane told reporters. "I don't know how Jacy and Lindsay [got] rejected from the game when they did nothing."
Cunningham, who has gained thousands of social media followers since her scuffle with Sheldon, doesn't regret her actions regardless of what's being said about her.

"It's a joke… the sound was too fitting! happy game day," Cunningham wrote for her caption.
Whether fans find it rude or not, Cunningham is clearly aware of all the jokes being made about her and Sheldon.
Besides, most fans laughed at Cunningham's post.
"This is gold," one fan said.
"Legend," a TikTok user commented.
"This is the best TikTok in the history of ever," another fan wrote.
Cunningham has received a fine for her role in Tuesday's altercation. However, she wasn't suspended for any future games.
As of right now, Cunningham is really benefitting from her feud with Sheldon. She's currently up to one million followers on TikTok.

WNBA fans will get to see Cunningham square off against Sheldon once again on July 15.

Parents feel ‘fambushed' by teens — who are tracking their every move

It was supposed to help parents sleep at night — now it's their kids who won't leave them alone. Thanks to family-tracking apps like Life360, a new generation of teens has turned the tables on their parents, using the digital leash meant for safety to spy, stalk and score snacks. The trend has been dubbed 'fambushing,' a mashup of 'family' and 'ambushing,' and parents say it's ruining their peace, their privacy — and their queso. Advertisement 3 Family-tracking apps like Life360 were made to keep teens safe — but now the kids are flipping the script, using them to stalk, snoop, and snag snacks on demand. JRstock – 'I can never run errands in peace,' wrote mom Nicole DeRoy in a recent TikTok clip, where she revealed her teen now tracks her every move. 'POV: you downloaded Life360 when your teen started driving to make sure they were safe, but now they track your every move,' she wrote. Advertisement Some moms are even getting surprise visits while dining out. 'When your daughter stalks your location and sees that you're out eating Mexican food,' Chrysta captioned her TikTok video — which documents her daughter stopping by the restaurant. 'I hate Life360.' Jayme Beecher Crosby got hit with the ultimate chip heist when her teen daughter showed up at her restaurant table and helped herself. Advertisement 'When your daughter tracks you on Life 360 & shows up to steal chips/salsa and water,' she wrote. According to Life360, teens — especially the driving-age crowd — now open the app 25% more often than their parents and set 70% more 'Place Alerts,' turning everyday errands into opportunities for freebies or family ambushes. And Gen Z, the first generation of true digital natives, isn't stopping there. Advertisement Between Snap Map and iPhone's location sharing, many teens know where everyone is, all the time — and they're not shy about pulling up. ''Safe' is the number one term that comes to mind for 66% of Gen Z respondents when thinking about location sharing,' Lauren Antonoff, Life360's COO, told Parents. 'Eighty-seven percent of Gen Z respondents said they use the technology for long-distance driving, 80% when visiting new or dangerous places, 77% when going to an event, concert, or festival, and 78% when they are going to party or on a date.' Antonoff adds, '72% of Gen Z women believe their physical well-being benefits from location sharing.' 3 Life360 says teens — especially the ones with car keys — are checking the app 25% more than their folks and setting 70% more Place Alerts to turn errands into ambush ops. sdx15 – Still, even the experts admit this digital snooping can go too far — especially when it's the kids playing parent. 'When teens track their parents and show up unannounced to ask for things like Starbucks or rides, it can blur the line between connection and control,' pediatrician and mom Dr. Mona Amin told the outlet. Advertisement 'If a parent were tracking a teen this way — constantly checking in or popping up — we'd probably call it helicopter parenting.' 'The key is making sure there are agreed-upon boundaries and that teens still learn how to ask, not just access,' Dr. Amin added. 'Parents are people too — and teaching that early helps foster mutual respect.' As previously reported by The Post, nearly nine in 10 Americans say sharing their location actually makes life better — at least according to Life360, the tracking app with 80 million users and counting. Advertisement However, there are still caveats. Connecticut mom Jennifer Long had no problem tracking her teens on Life360 — until the tables turned. 3 If the roles were reversed, and Mom was popping up unannounced? Experts say we'd call it what it is — classic helicopter parenting. Synthex – Advertisement When her daughters spotted she was 'getting some aesthetic work done,' the flustered mama slammed the digital door, blocking them from following her every move. 'It's really more about me watching their safety,' she told The Post. So next time you sneak out for margaritas? Maybe go airplane mode.

Wings HC breaks silence on DiJonai Carrington lineup change

The post Wings HC breaks silence on DiJonai Carrington lineup change appeared first on ClutchPoints. The Dallas Wings were a little short-staffed going into their matchup with the Golden State Valkyries, but one name fans were not expecting to see missing from the starting lineup was DiJonai Carrington. The new-look top five featured rookie Aziaha James instead of the veteran guard, which prompted questions for head coach Chris Koclanes over Carrington's standing. Advertisement Koclanes opened up about the shifting roster in the Wings' postgame presser following their second win of the 2025 WNBA season. 'Yeah, decided to make a change to the lineup as we continue to search for the right combinations,' Koclanes began. When asked about Carrington specifically, the courtside boss revealed some more details. 'Just conversations throughout with DiJonai, with our team, and just felt it was the right time to make a change and give Aziaha a look,' Koclanes explained, according to ClutchPoints' Joey Mistretta. Carrington had a breakout season in 2024 with the Connecticut Sun, which ended with her receiving both WNBA Most Improved Player and All-Defensive First Team honors. The 27-year-old hasn't seen the same success in Dallas so far this year, with her -7.7 point differential coming in as the worst on her team. Advertisement The Wings came into the Valkyries game with their only win coming from beating Carrington's former Sun squad back on May 27. She finished the contest with eight points, four assists, and four rebounds in 22 minutes. Next up for Dallas on June 20 will be Connecticut once again, so hopefully Carrington's return to her former franchise will light a little more fire under her as she attempts to regain her starting spot. Wings' latest injury updates will catch fans' attention before Sun clash

The post Wings' latest injury updates will catch fans' attention before Sun clash appeared first on ClutchPoints. ARLINGTON, TX — The Dallas Wings will play the Connecticut Sun on Friday night in a road matchup. Dallas is looking to earn a second consecutive victory after defeating the Golden State Valkyries 80-71 on Tuesday night. Although forward Maddy Siegrist and guard Tyasha Harris will remain out on Friday due to knee injuries and centers Teaira McCowan and Luisa Geiselsoder are still away from the team at EuroBasket, the Wings have no new injuries to report. Advertisement Of course, being without those four players is far from ideal. At the very least, Dallas does not have any other injuries to report, though. The Wings are looking to build momentum following Tuesday night's big win. At just 2-11, Dallas has work to do but the roster features enough talent to make a competitive run. From a depth standpoint, the roster was recently addressed in the form of two hardship signings. On Tuesday — before the game against the Valkyries — Dallas signed Kaila Charles and Haley Jones to hardship contracts. Additionally, the Wings acquired Li Yueru from the Seattle Storm in a trade on Saturday. Meanwhile, Paige Bueckers is in the middle of a terrific rookie season while Arike Ogunbowale is beginning to get things going following a challenging start to the year. Yes, this Wings team still has questions to answer, but their 2025 outlook is brighter than their 2-11 record may indicate. What's next for the Dallas Wings? The Wings are hoping to avoid more injury trouble moving forward. Any other long-term absences would be far from ideal for an already short-handed roster. Advertisement Dallas' game on Friday in Connecticut represents the first of two contests on the road before heading back home. Friday's matchup is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST in Connecticut while the Wings will play the Mystics in Washington on Sunday afternoon at 3 PM EST.
