Emergency call-up Harley was thrust into action, and he'll play again if Makar is still unable to go Monday afternoon. Coach Jon Cooper also inserted Bennett into the lineup in place of Konecny.
Canada was on the short end of a 3-1 loss against the Americans, and it now has 2 points, tied with Finland with one overtime win and a regulation loss.

Barkov tied the game 3-3 in the second period, and after a scoreless third, the game went to the extra session. Granlund scored the winner on a feed from Mikkola. Coach Antti Pennanen swapped out Saros for Lankinen in net, and the move paid off. Kakko was also inserted into the lineup in place of Armia.
Finland has a chance to make the final Thursday, but it needs to win, and it needs Sweden to suffer a setback against USA.

Canada vs. Finland picks and predictions
Prediction
Canada 4, Finland 2
Canada (-400) will cost you 4 times your potential return, and that's way too much risk for not nearly enough reward.
Even if you were to include this in a multi-leg or cross-sport parlay, playing Canada makes little sense, as it would suck all of the value out of your ticket.
PASS, and look to the puck line instead.
CANADA -1.5 (-145) will still cost you, but it's a better value taking it laying the goal and a half rather than the hefty price on the moneyline.
Canada was the slight pre-tournament favorite, but it is against the ropes. It will be facing Finland (+310), a team that was expected to finish last among the combatants. Look for the more talented team to seize the opportunity and force its way into the title game, although it might take a late empty-net goal to get over the hump for this wager, so be careful.
The Total (6) should come right down on the number. If there were a lean, it would be to the Under, ever so slightly. There is so much at stake, as the winner has the chance to advance to the title game, while the loser will go home. We should see some nerves and tentativeness early on.
You can buy a half-goal and play UNDER 6.5 GOALS – ALTERNATE LINE (-130). Go with a half-unit on that if you want in on a total play.

Panthers' dominant first period sends Oilers goalie Stuart Skinner to bench ... again

The Florida Panthers once again dominated so much that the Edmonton Oilers had to make an in-game goalie change. The Oilers pulled starter Stuart Skinner for Calvin Pickard after giving up three goals on 17 shots in the first period of Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday. Matthew Tkachuk scored two of those goals on the power play — the first at five-on-three 11:40 into the frame, the second at five-on-four 16:56 into the period. It was Tkachuk's first two goals of the Stanley Cup Final, his sixth and seventh of the postseason overall, and fourth and fifth overall this playoffs on the power play. Anton Lundell made it 3-0 with 41.7 seconds left in the frame on a point-blank shot in front of the net after Carter Verhaeghe poked the puck free with a strong forecheck behind the Oilers' net. All of that came after Skinner made a series of big saves in the first half of the frame that stopped the Panthers from building their lead earlier than they did. Edmonton coach Kris Knoblauch also pulled Skinner early in the third period of Florida's 6-1 win in Game 3 on Monday after he gave up five goals on 23 shots. Panthers fans made their opinion heard when Pickard came into the game to start the second period. 'We want Skinner!' they chanted.

Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift enjoy rare night out at Stanley Cup Final Game 4

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift might be enchanted with hockey now. The star couple was on hand at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Panthers and Oilers. Kelce wore a red top with red shorts as he rocked a white and red 'Palm Tree Crew' Panthers hat while Swift appeared to keep her look neutral in an off-white top and bottom. Advertisement Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce attend Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final Swift, 35, has had plenty of viral hockey moments in life, including a reveal of the 2009-10 Predators then-new third jerseys during a concert in Nashville and, four years later, taking a picture with former Hurricanes star Joel Skinner, even holding up his jersey. She also donned Islanders gear in a skit with Jimmy Fallon for the 'Tonight Show' in 2015. Advertisement Kelce, who previously posted about his love of playoff hockey, and his brother Jason debated in October on the 'New Heights' podcast about which NHL players could also play in the NFL, and they named Oilers star Connor McDavid as one who could. In April, a source told Page Six that Swift and Kelce have enjoyed a 'special' offseason, which has largely been low-key after the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl to the Eagles. 'They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It's a special time for them,' the source said. Advertisement The two were spotted last month in Philadelphia to celebrate Mother's Day, though before that, they opted out of the Met Gala in New York due to scheduling issues. Getty Images Kelce, who announced earlier this offseason that he is coming back to the Chiefs for at least one more year, will likely have more of Swift at games this year as she is not touring this coming season. Advertisement 'Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season,' a source told People on Thursday. Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she's not juggling a packed tour schedule. 'This fall will be completely different. It's the first season where she's not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.' The Panthers entered Game 4 leading the series 2-1.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stunned hockey fans at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stunned hockey fans at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final With a 2-1 lead in the 2025 Stanley Cup Final over the Edmonton Oilers, the Florida Panthers entered Thursday night's game hoping to inch a little bit closer to hoisting the trophy. The Panthers — who won the Stanley Cup last year after defeating, you guessed it, the Oilers — already had high excitement for Game 4. Well, the excitement ratcheted up a little bit more as celebrity super couple Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were in the house at in Sunrise, Florida to take in the game. The 14-time Grammy winner and 3-time Super Bowl champ have been dating since summer of 2023, and the duo has frequently attended sporting events in the Chiefs' offseason. Kelce, who had golfed in Fort Lauderdale earlier in the day, wore an all-red get up while the The Tortured Poets Department singer donned a cream-colored shorts ensemble with booties. The pair were filmed entering the arena hand-in-hand just after the game started. The couple was seen taking the game in, cuddled up together in the stands and looking at something on Kelce's phone. With the history between these two teams and the stakes of the game, it seems like Swift and Kelce have chosen the best possible time to take in their first hockey game together.
