Queer women are some of the most beautiful people on earth.
Harper's Bazaar recently released its list of the 50 Hottest Men of All Time, including men like James Dean, Tupac Shakur, Pedro Pascal, Bad Bunny, and Marlon Brando.
Esquire followed up with a list of the Most Beautiful Women of All Time. Its list included Lupita Nyong'o, Audrey Hepburn, Freida Pinto, and Brigitte Bardot.
Now, it's time for the lesbians.
These queer women and nonbinary sapphics are beautiful, they're elegant, they're handsome, and they're strong. They are artists, actors, musicians, activists, writers, and history-makers. And all of them are extremely hot.
Our list goes back to Ancient Greece, Vaudeville, and Old Hollywood, and features some of today's hottest stars.
Are your favorite lesbians and sapphics on the list?

Jesse Metcalfe Regrets Skipping ‘Entourage' Audition: 'I Blew That One'

Although Jesse Metcalfe made his TV heartthrob debut on ABC's Desperate Housewives in 2004, he missed a chance to break out that year on HBO. The actor recently recounted 'auditioning for Adrian Grenier's role' as movie star Vincent Chase in the hit 6x Emmy-winning Doug Ellin series Entourage, which ran for eight seasons from 2004 to 2011 before culminating in a 2015 big screen offshoot. More from Deadline Rom-Com 'You, Always' Wraps Production In Queensland, Stars Adrian Grenier & Jessica De Gouw 'Boris Is Dead': Steven Bauer, Cam Gigandet, Thomas Dekker, Jesse Metcalfe, Martin & Jesse Kove Among Cast Additions To Indie Movie 'The Yogurt Shop Murders' Director On Revisiting The Tragic Case After More Than 30 Years: "It Was Just Such A World Of Darkness" 'I had an audition for Entourage, and I read the pilot episode, and I was like, 'This is stupid,' and I didn't go to the audition,' he admitted to People. 'Obviously, I had no idea what I was talking about,' added Metcalfe. 'That ended up being an iconic show that I absolutely love, and definitely wish I was a part of.' Entourage ultimately starred Grenier as Vincent, a newly-minted Hollywood star who migrates west from Queens, NY with his brother Drama (Kevin Dillon), best friend E (Kevin Connelly) and pal Turtle (Jerry Ferrara). The foursome acclimates to LA life with help from Vincent's agent Ari (Jeremy Piven). The series was a pre-The Studio hit that took frequent shots at the industry with help from a laundry list of Hollywood cameos and guest stars that include Martin Scorsese, EP Mark Wahlberg, Tom Brady, Pharrell Williams, Scarlett Johansson, Matt Damon, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, James Cameron, LeBron James, Mandy Moore, Jessica Alba, Christina Aguilera, Bob Saget, David Arquette, Seth Green, Mike Tyson, Mark Cuban, George Takei, Kelsey Grammer, Liam Neeson, Armie Hammer and Emily Ratajkowski. 'I blew that one,' Metcalfe lamented. 'Sometimes you gotta say no, but that was the wrong one. It taught me that I don't know everything.' The John Tucker Must Die star explained that he's since become 'absolutely' more 'likely to audition' for roles ever since that misjudgment. 'I've been auditioning for what it feels like is everything lately,' said Metcalfe. Taron Egerton Shaved His Head and Bulked Up to Play an Ex-Con in ‘She Rides Shotgun,' but ‘There Was No Method Nonsense'

Taron Egerton doesn't even blink when asked what he likes about Nate, the brutally violent ex-con he plays in Lionsgate's new gritty crime thriller, 'She Rides Shotgun.' 'I actually like that he hates himself,' he says. 'He's got that kind of reluctant hero thing, the kind of tortured hero, but he would never think of himself in those terms. He's only reflective about his mistakes. I think he's somebody that kind of walks around feeling like he's not fit to be in the world, certainly not fit to be a father. That kind of emotional inarticulacy is quite interesting to me. I think it's really human to walk around with a voice in your head telling you that you've fucked up.' More from Variety Jessica Chastain Enrolls at Harvard Kennedy School to Get Masters Degree in Public Administration Taron Egerton Says 'I Don't Think I'm a Good Choice' for James Bond: It 'Kind of Consumes Your Life' and 'Would Be Wasted on Me' Liam Neeson on Why 'The Naked Gun' Reboot Is Needed: 'Because We're All F-ed' The film, directed by Nick Rowland and adapted from Jordan Harper's novel, follows Nate being recently released from prison after five years behind bars as he's hunted by a nefarious drug kinpin with his estranged young daughter Polly (Ana Sophia Heger) in tow. 'I thought it was a very different role for me, the chance to do something that felt a little bit grittier maybe than I'd done before,' says Egerton, who earned an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Elton John in 'Rocketman.' 'I was so moved by that central relationship with his daughter. But movies like this are hard to make. They're hard to get out in the world now, but it's just the most creatively rewarding thing.' Egerton, who serves as a producer on the film, continues, 'Everybody is looking for the sure thing. An old school movie like this just isn't a sure thing…There was never enough time to make this film and there was never enough money. We pulled it off in 25 days, which I think is a miracle. There were a lot of sacrifices to get it made.' Egerton's transformation to portray Nate is remarkable. Gone are the actor's sweet-faced boyish looks and charm. He not only shaved his head and covered himself in menacing tattoos for the role but he put on a considerable amount of bulk and muscles. 'There's something very freeing about shaving your head,' Egerton says. As for his hulking frame, Egerton says. 'It's really hard to change your body for a role then have to reset it back to whatever you are. I think it's something that we slightly trivialize in Hollywood and kind of glorify as this bastion of greatness that actors push themselves to get a certain role, but personally I find it quiet hard to manage and navigate talking about it in a way that feels healthy. 'But, yeah, it was the physique of somebody who has been in prison for five years, living off of prison food. It's bulky and not super lean. He's not a guy who's obsessed with his body. It's a functional strength for feeling strong in prison,' he explains. At least one temporary tattoo almost became permanent. 'There were chilis behind my ear and I booked an appointment to go and have them really tattooed on my head,' Egerton recalls. 'It was the last day of the movie. I nearly did it. It was insane. My mother stopped me. She happened to be in New Mexico visiting that weekend and she shut it down.' (For the record, Egerton says he has no real body ink.) As harsh acting and appearing as Nate is, Egerton and the rest of the cast and crew made sure to keep things far from dark as possible for young Ana's sake. 'We were constantly walking a line between wanting to indulge her desire to always push things further and make the most emotional and dramatic choices whilst also trying to protect her and make sure it always stayed fun and always stayed light,' Egerton says. 'There was no Method nonsense. When we called cut, I'm back to being Taron and she's back to be Anna.' 'She Rides Shotgun' is the latest in a string of dramatic thrillers for Egerton. He can currently be seen in Apple TV+'s inspired-by-a-true-story 'Smoke' as arson investigator who is also an arsonist. Next up is 'Apex,' a Netflix wilderness survival thriller with Charlize Theron. 'It's definitely the strangest part I've ever played. It's a big swing,' Egerton teases about 'Apex.' 'The character I play is fucking weird. Thankfully the producers and Netflix were very supportive of me bringing some quite strange ideas to the table.' Perhaps he might consider some lighter work in the future to balance things out? 'I'd love to do a rom-com,' Egerton says, naming 'When Harry Met Sally' and 'Notting Hill' as two of his favorite movies. 'It just hasn't happened yet. Put it out into the ether for me.' 'She Rides Shotgn' is in theaters Friday. LISTEN: How Noah Hawley and FX Brought ‘Alien: Earth' to Life; Kevin Feige Gets Candid as Comic Con Approaches

About eight years ago, multihyphenate Noah Hawley wrote a five-page pitch for FX on what he would do with the 'Alien' franchise if he ever got the chance to work in the world established in 1979 by Ridley Scott's seminal film. Next month, FX will unveil its wildly ambitious, first-ever TV series take on the sci-fi franchise that has spawned eight other films across the past five decades. On the latest episode of the 'Daily Variety' podcast, Daniel D'Addario, Variety's chief correspondent, offers insights into his inside look at the making of 'Alien: Earth' that is featured as 's July 23 cover story. More from Variety 'Alien: Earth' Is Wildly Ambitious, Expensive and Stars a Talented Actor Who Refuses to Play by Hollywood's Rules. Inside FX's Risky Bet for a New Blockbuster Series Neon's 'Next Wave of Horror' Comic-Con Panel to Feature 'Together' Stars Alison Brie and Dave Franco, Osgood Perkins, Tatiana Maslany and More (EXCLUSIVE) Scott Free Eyes Further Series Adaptations of Ridley Scott and Tony Scott Movies Following 'Alien: Earth' and 'Blade Runner 2099' D'Addario reports that all of the major components of Hawley's eight-year-old outline made it into the final series, which drops on FX and Hulu Aug. 12. That's a testament to the strength of the writer-producer's vision for adapting 'Alien' as a TV series for the present day. D'Addario notes that Hawley is a famously prolific 'idea machine' who has the trust of FX leadership. That's important given all that FX has riding on 'Alien: Earth,' which has topped the budget of FX's previous most expensive series. 'He's a novelist. He's written and directed feature films, and he just has the ability to work through this IP world without having it feel like a crass brand extension. It's 'Alien,' but it is fundamentally a Noah Hawley show as well,' D'Addario says. Also featured in today's episode is a conversation with Adam B. Vary, Variety's senior entertainment writer, about what to expect from San Diego Comic Con, which begins on July 24 and is always a mile-marker for studios and networks. Vary also discusses his recent sit down with Marvel chief Kevin Feige, who delivered a candid assessment of the studio's recent struggles. Feige cited a startling statistic that illustrated how Marvel simply became overextended in recent years as it ramped up production to feed series and movies to Disney+, which has been an enormous priority for parent company Disney. From 2008 to 2019, Marvel produced about 50 total hours worth of film and TV content. In the last six years, Marvel has produced more than 120 hours. 'That massive increase in volume really diluted the brand, diluted their quality. At one point he said, for the first time, quantity trumped quality.' And, that's a pretty blunt assessment for what went wrong,' Vary says. As for Comic Con, Vary predicts it will be less of a launchpad than in the past as Marvel is not hosting its usual state-of-the-industry presentation (hence Feige's charm offensive with journalists), nor does DC Studios have a big presence this year. 'It's generally going to be a little bit of a quieter Comic Con,' Vary says.
