Tom Holland Plans Acting Break After THE ODYSSEY and SPIDER-MAN 4: 'You Can't Do Your Best Work When You're Burnt Out' — GeekTyrant
Tom Holland has been on a tear. With back-to-back productions of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day , it's no wonder the actor is ready to hit pause. Holland recently told GQ UK he's planning to step away from the spotlight for a bit, recognizing the importance of knowing when to rest. 'I feel really blessed to be at a point in my career where I can take time off, reset, and come back ready to go. You can't be in every movie, and you can't do your best work when you're burnt out.' The MCU star has certainly earned the time off. He wrapped Nolan's historical epic The Odyssey , then jumped straight into filming his fourth Spider-Man film, currently shooting on location in Glasgow. And that's just his on-set work. Holland is also expected to embark on major press tours in 2026 when both films hit theaters in July. 'What I've learnt is that it's important to set boundaries – to be mindful about overworking. I've got a slightly busy year next year, and then I'll probably take a bit more time off in 2027. We'll see.' Must be nice for some people to actually take a break from working. Regardless, with Avengers: Secret Wars looming and Holland's name absent from the current Avengers: Doomsday lineup, all signs point to Peter Parker playing a role in the franchise's massive multiversal finale. But so far, there's no word on filming schedules, leaving fans guessing about where and when Spider-Man might swing in again. For now, Holland is putting in the work, knowing exactly when he'll need to take a breath. After nearly a decade of balancing blockbusters, prestige dramas, and streaming projects, the actor has clearly figured out what it takes to avoid burnout and stay at the top of his game.

Ozzy Osbourne died of cardiac arrest, reports say
Ozzy Osbourne, heavy metal legend and former Black Sabbath frontman, died at 76 of a cardiac arrest. Known as 'The Prince of Darkness,' he sold over 100 million records and gained fame for his wild lifestyle, iconic music, and later as a reality TV star on The Osbournes. He is survived by his wife Sharon, five children, and several grandchildren. Ozzy Osbourne died of a cardiac arrest and had been suffering from Parkinson's and coronary artery disease, according to a death certificate filed in London. The death certificate was reportedly filed by his daughter, Aimee, The New York Times reports. According to the certificate published by The Sun he died of 'out of hospital cardiac arrest' and 'acute myocardial infarction.' Best known as the 1970s frontman of the legendary heavy metal band Black Sabbath, Osbourne made his mark on music history and popular culture. He famously earned notoriety for biting the head off a bat during a live performance and living a drug-fueled lifestyle before transforming into a beloved, albeit foul-mouthed, reality TV icon. Known to fans as The Prince of Darkness and the Godfather of Heavy Metal, Osbourne's musical legacy included Black Sabbath hits such as Paranoid, War Pigs, and 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath' alongside a successful solo career, together selling over 100 million records worldwide. Following his death Osbourne's family issued a heartfelt statement: 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has died this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family's privacy at this time.' Osbourne was no stranger to controversy. He became a frequent target of criticism from conservative and religious groups that viewed his persona and music as a negative influence on youth. While acknowledging his past excesses, he firmly dismissed exaggerated rumours about being a devil-worshipper. As he shared in his 2010 biography: 'I've done some bad things in my time. But I ain't the devil. I'm just John Osbourne: a working-class kid from Aston who quit his job in the factory and went looking for a good time.' His reinvention later in life began in 2002 when he became the star of the US reality show The Osbournes. The show captured his daily life, as fans watched the ageing rock legend wander around his lavish home, share his thoughts in his distinctive Birmingham accent, and react to his family's unpredictable antics. The show gained him a new wave of adoring fans. Osbourne is survived by his wife and manager, Sharon, their five children—Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and two others, and several grandchildren. Osbourne was honoured with a funeral cortege through his hometown of Birmingham last week before a private family service.

How Kate Middleton Felt ‘Humbled' by This Unexpected Act After Revealing Her ‘Difficult' Cancer Treatment
Kate Middleton's recovery from cancer has been long and slow. The Princess of Wales was first diagnosed with cancer in April 2024 and finished chemotherapy in September of that year. Then, in January 2025, Middleton announced she was in remission. But she didn't fully return to public life right away. Instead, she has been taking the time to balance out her role, her family, and her recovery. One of the events she has made a point to attend regularly is Wimbledon. For the latest version of the tennis grand slam, she attended twice, the last time for the Wimbledon men's final, with her husband, Prince William, and two of her kids: Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Prince Louis, who is only 7, was not in attendance. More from StyleCaster William & Kate Reportedly Looking into Moving After Rumors Harry & Meghan Are Relocating Back to the UK William & Kate Celebrate Unexpected Baby News: 'Thrilled to Announce... ' Related: Did William really cheat on Kate? During her attendance on July 12, for the women's singles final, Kate was received with a standing ovation. According to US Weekly, it was a very welcome surprise for Middleton. 'The ovation at Wimbledon was unexpected,' a source told the publication, adding that she was 'really surprised and felt humbled by it.' Multiple videos from the moment show her getting emotional as fans cheered. 'She felt really good, and it reinforced her recovery and that everyone is rooting for her,' the source added. 'She doesn't follow the press, so to get a real-world reaction was incredibly fulfilling for her.' This touching moment comes after Kate Middleton recently opened up about her cancer recovery while speaking to patients and staff members of the NHS. 'You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment,' she explained as she visited Colchester Hospital in Essex. 'Treatment's done, then it's like, 'I can crack on, get back to normal,' but actually, the phase afterwards is really, really difficult.' 'You're not necessarily under the clinical team any longer, but you're not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to,' she explained as she discussed her life after cancer and how she was adjusting. 'And actually, someone to help talk you through that, show you, and guide you through that sort of phase that comes after treatment, I think is really valuable.' 'You have to find your new normal and that takes time…and it's a roller coaster, it's not smooth, like you expect it to be,' Middleton added. 'But the reality is you go through hard times.' The Wimbledon appearance and the standing ovation also came after Middleton had missed some recent events, like Prince William's Royal Charity Polo Cup 2025, which took place at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor and raised money for various charities and causes. She has, however, attended some specific ones, like the state dinner for French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife. It's all part of the balance Middleton has reportedly tried to have since her cancer. And though it might not be what it once was, it's a really good sign after the Princess was absent for so long last year, without explanation.
